This is Rena Innocenti's first and maybe last installment of "Tips for artists, new and old"! I only have a few so far though... Might update this later...
I'm going to tell you some healthy practices and small hints/tricks to help you improve yourself and/or your artwork! Some tips will be style-specific, so just pass those up, alright?
If you disagree with anything, that's fine, don't harp on me about a different opinion.
And no, they are not organized in any particular way, they just pop into my head in the order listed. I will type out details for each tip, so don't worry~!!
I'm trying my best to remain unbiased for this... so yeah.
1. Believe in yourself
Really, you don't know how important this is, unless you've bitten hard on failure and climbed back out of a ditch. Believing in your ability to create is really, really important. If you have no faith in yourself, no one will. If you have faith in your talents, people will see this and help to nurture them without noticing
