Bio-mechanical life form: “Sendai Telepathic Defense System (T.D.S.)”
This piece is an “animated style” rendition of the character Gedai Ya’eel from Studio Vulne Pro' Theos KE Polemos project. Gedai Ya'eel is a taedus-type sendai custom built by the Lavess Soso corporation. Lavess Soso exclusively produces one-of-a-kind creations, and Gedai exemplifies the company's design philosophy: the absolute realization of individual expression and personal character.
Although not a true co-production, Gedai’s central components utilize technologies sub-licensed from Oshen, the premier manufacturer of taedus systems (it was Oshen that first created the taedai). One could technically classify Gedai as an Oshen taedus system with a Lavess SoSo body. Nevertheless, Lavess SoSo contributed a substantial amount of technological innovations, including an experimental “black box” computational system.
Officially, Gedai works as an I.P.I.O. (Inter Bloc Private Investigations Organization) officer, operating as a unit with his quirky and enigmatic human partner, Treigh Cignie, in the political bloc of Genuaä, on the planet Indus. Like the surfaces of his reinforced frame, Gedai’s personality is varied and unpredictable. While headstrong and cocky, his combat abilities more than make up for his occasionally impulsive behavior.
Close friends with fellow I.P.I.O. officers Heath Wuthering and Gumbinnen Semms, Gedai looks up to Gumbinnen as a mentor, mostly due to his near-legendary status as one of the most effective taedus systems in current operation. But as Gedai's skills developed, so did his own reputation, firmly establishing him as a renowned and infamous figure during the tumultuous "Siege of the Black Son" period of SOL.

The colony maintenance mech features a series of arm attachments: The front arms can be equipped with a grabber claw or a welding tip. The back arms can be equipped with a glue gun or a drill/screwdriver. Both arms rotate 360 degrees around the shoulder joint.
The machine is designed to operate in a zero-g environment and is a worker-type robot.
