I've had this fantastic brown denim for a while and so far have only made Genes out of it (in February). A couple weeks ago however, I wanted a new vest to match and while I was at it, figured I'd made a new hat too, to replace the corduroy one I'd been wearing for 2 years.
So this is the final version of my Journeymans vest. I'm not going to be making any more design changes to it. It's slightly different from the waxed denim one [link]
in that it's got a taller collar in back, straightened up the hem line a bit and straightened up the angle of the buttons down the front (they used to flare out as they approached the bottom of the vest)
The shirt I'm wearing is also the final version of my Vokman, which I shall post more pictures of shortly. It's been slimmed down compared to [link]
and the sleeves, the shoulder yoke, etc. have been refined to fit and flex in sync with the body. It also has a full button placket down the front instead of just a head hole.
This is not the final version of these pants. I want to try making a high waisted pair, with some kind of fly opening other then the traditional zipper fly. I'll also do different pockets on front and I've really been wanting to do snaps or buttons down the side seam of the legs.
The hat is the same pattern as [link]
but made out of matching fabric and with a more refined leather brim that snaps off!
has these patterns, so if you like them, tell 'em to get them into production so you can actually aquire them.
Will post detail shots sometime soon as well.
