ah villains.. how i love drawing them, and honestly they are the more interesting ones. their body language, their confidence, their charisma.. its just so much fun to portray

also i love doing these messing arounds. this one was made wirth a small thoutght that hit me... hordak essentially is a technomage. using sort of cyberimplants to control nanites that allow him to shapeshift on a mollecular level, allowing him to do what he does in the cartoons. so with that in mind i did this one

honestly he is so much more charismatic villain than skeletor simply because of the fact he has a face. skeletor is more of an archetype, hordak is a deeper villain... and seriously... anyone else thinks him and shadow weaver were diong it behind the closed toors... anyone???

also...luke goss??? anyone else thinks he kinda ended up having that vibe?
seriously... i really could see luke goss playing hordak

ow come on i cant be the only one sho is this pervy!!!

ah and about my signature there... im a bit annoyed by people printing poor lowe resolution posters of my stuff and selling them all over the place.. so atleast imma make them woork for it a bit XD

just a quick 1 hour messing around . allways liked this guy, he really has that movie villanous look potential in the details of his design, and he had no nose before it was cool

a very quick sketch based on a fun thought that struck me... what if a bogger baddie went to invade eternia, something like horde prime or whatever.... i kinda figure he man and skeletor would join forces... ah childhood how fondly do i remember thee

just a quickstuddy of mantenna from shera cartoons. idea behind these is that i do what they are supposed to be able to do but make it plausible, so as hordak can shapeshift due to cybernetic use and control of nanites and can therefore make that arm cannon of his, so i played around with mantennas eyepopping action. i decided to go crab route. their eyes actually do this and i foud myself surprised at just how well it worked... funtimes

quick one before work..ugh...pages to spam, cyall

now for the idea behind my version, because lets face it this is just ramblings of a fan

i kinda do these with the idea to keep all the visual cues but make them , sotra movie style plausible with some behind the scenes logic.

so my hordie here is imbued with horde primes nanotech virus.
this gives him the ability to form technology on a molecular level, change his own bodyparts, form his armor. this in its more basic form was the substance that gave modulok his own... allbeit unstable form.

completely non cannon pulling out of my ass stuff here people XD just the idea behind the design, nothing more nothing less

this one always bugged me XD... in the cartoons all you see is a hand, and the toy thes made recently i find to be a terribly unimaginative thing as it was allways indicated horde prime has two heads.. so it ook a quick whack at it XD

all my motu nerds say wootwoot

From Masters of the Universe. He-Man and Skeletor are defeated. Hordak finally conquered Eternia.

The master of evil himself. In my version he is more of an immortal shaman warrior. The golden skull mask prevents his decay. He is an expert swordsman and a powerful magic user with centuries of training.
I wanted the main villain to look more human than the usual demon look. Skeletor should be capable to scare the **** out of the teen with the power-sword.

Hope you'll like it! ;)
