After being on hold for a while so I could finish my hand drawn papercraft Star Wars TIE-fighter first ( [link] ), the parts for my papercraft LEGO Black Knight minifig are available now too: [link]

I was working on the final build and instructions for my papercraft Ganondorf when I decided to take a break and play a little Advance Wars.

In Advance Wars, when a Sub dives or a Stealth cloaks, it basically becomes invulnerable to most units, except for its natural enemies (other Subs or Cruisers or other (Stealth) Fighters).

I can imagine those little soldiers going: "whaddya mean I can't attack it?? It's right there!!" ;o)

After I took these pictures of my finished papercraft model of Captain Linebeck, I felt his head was tilting back a bit *too* much, so I fixed his neck to cure his "whiplash"... ;o)

Download the parts and instructions to build your own papercraft Linebeck (with the fixed neck ;o) from my papercraft webpage: [link]

To make LEGO Luke's lightsaber easier to build out of paper, I've divided it into several different, separate easy to build parts.

Although making it as one big hollow shell would make the "polycount" (the number of pieces in the 3D model) much lower, that's often not the best option when you're only making the 3D model as a tool to make a papercraft model! ;o)

The completed Black Knight in Sketchup! Now to get him into paper form... ;o)

There's only a few more pieces for me to test build (the sword and the shield) and then I'll start making the final templates: [link]

I just realized something: life is NOT like a box of chocolates, it's more like Tetris.

This shows how I broke down the dragon plume on the Black Knight's helmet into separate parts, because when I'll make it as a papercraft part, it will be much easier this way than making it as one hollow piece.

Basically, you have the main body, and everything that's thinner (like the tail tip, tail spines and the beak) and everything that's thicker (like the wings) are separate pieces that will be assembled and glued on separately: [link]

Stay tuned!

I already started this papercraft Advance Wars Orange Star Fighter when I was working on my papercraft LEGO pirate minifig, so it didn't take long to finish now. ;o)

Parts and instructions to build your own are available from my website as usual: [link]

Like all of the new units in Advance Wars Dual Strike, the Megatanks for all five armies look exactly the same, except the colours. I'll release the other three Megatanks (Green Earth, Blue Moon and Black Hole) once I've had a chance to build them so I can take some pictures. ;o)

Parts and instructions to build your own Yellow Comet and Orange Star papercraft Megatanks though are already available now from the Advance Wars section on my papercraft webpage: [link]
