Superhero meets SorceressSubject name: Lorraine Jett
Ten years since last mission.
It has been a long time since any missions were taken and completed by this elastic woman. So long, in fact, that just after her last mission, Ms. Jett dropped her career as a superhero entirely. She only used her elastic abilities for rudimentary tasks from there on.
Lora simply went back to her old job that previously wasn't always fulfilled 8 hours a day.
She wasn't the only one to change, either.
Her boss, Mr. Richard Hearst had stopped pointing out crimes for her to take care of, and his son, Arnold, had become a teenager and lost interest in Plastic Man comics that usually helped Lora in a few missions. Even her own sidekick, Meredith, had stopped thinking about fighting crime, and had grown to be more like an adopted sister to Lora than a sidekick.
Lora herself thought that crime could take care of itself, like the illegal drug issue. The police would do a better job than she ever did, because after all,
History of SpireFrom what we know in Myst IV: Revelation, Atrus had believed his Prison Age of Spire to be completely uninhabited from the beginning. I, for one, disagree with that belief. The broken stone palaces look much too intricate to have been there without people to have constructed them in the past. Sirrus believed that there was a violent, xenophoboic civilization as well. Perhaps they were, but also highly intelligent. Whatever the case may be, these points were supported by my constant interest in what those rock palaces would have looked like intact, and possibly inhabited. So, I have written a short story detailing the Age of Spire before Atrus linked to it.History of Spire3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Too long ago to recount, a group of humanoid beings appeared on the world of Spire by unknown means. By then, Spire was no more than floating gargantuan masses of rock and crystal sitting in two thick layers of thunderclouds. Thankfully, these humanoids were endowed with enough intellect to construct a series of palaces from th
The story of Lora Jett AKA LovergumLora Jett, Age 31, was initially a blond-haired cashier at a local candy store, selling pounds of candy to every group of children that arrived. She felt happy pleasing kids, as well as of course earning profits. Her income was quite well, at $750 a month, surprisingly. And yet, Lora did feel a bit jealous during her sales: Candy was one of her best after-school snacks, especially bubble gum, but she was never allowed at least one sample for so much as tasting. The story of Lora Jett AKA Lovergum3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
One day, she was more baffled than ever: A large package had arrived at Lora's apartment porch, addressed to her, from a place called "Draemona" that she had never heard of. Forgetting that anomaly, Lora brought the oddly light box into her living room, sliced the tape open, and was surprised as to what was inside. Two things were there: A letter with odd English handwriting on it, and a bright red rubber cat-suit that reached from neck to toe.
Spreading the latter out on the coffee table, Lora studied the costume,

- Atrus: Who are you?
- K’nehtis: Why, I am a humble D’ni inventor, and judging from what you have here, I would say you are as well. My name is K’nehtis, and this is my wife, Moira.
- Atrus: I’m pleased to make your acquaintance, K’nehtis. Forgive my curiosity, but what brought you here to Tomahna?
- Moira: This is our first time on the surface since we fled the Cavern, and we simpl

Candy Landô © Milton Bradley/Hasbro
Author's note: For the confused, this story takes place before Finn discovers Flame Princess, and after Princess Bubblegum returns to 18 years old.
The sun was rising over the ever-sweet country of Candy Land, and the residents were preparing themselves for another great day. Plumpy set about tending his gingerbread plum trees, picking off which plums were ripe and pruning unnecessary branches; Jolly and his miners chiseled away in the Gumdrop Mountains, searching for gumdrops of the highest quality, and Grandma Nutt worked her best to maintain her peanut brittle cottage.
But, a few of the royal members of this country somehow felt that this day in particular would be different, in a way they could not describe. In fact, some of the usually cheery inhabitants felt saddened. One such, Queen Frostine, could not help but stare beyond her usually magnificent Ice Cream Sea,

"Come on out, I bet you look great," Lynn pleaded.
I stepped out from behind the curtain where I had changed into my costume. Not my superheroine costume, my Halloween costume. Sigh.
Lynn sat on the sofa waiting for me. She had her hiking booted feet propped up on the coffee table. Tight cargo shorts and a tight tank top with sunglasses pulled low on her nose and her now-dyed-brown hair back in a braid. She was practicing spinning her pistols in opposite directions. She looked up at me, "Whoa."
"Yep, that's what I thought, forget it I'm staying home to eat ice cream-"
"No way! You look amazing!"
I looked down at myself; "This is what I get for shopping for a costume the day before Halloween, the leftovers."
Airtankgirl: SqueakyI thought I could pass my lunch hour quietly on a bench on the downtown outdoor mall. I watched a female clown street performer making balloon animals and handing them out to children and adults. Watching the balloons swell up and round out from the gas tanks and then being twisted into animals under her deft hands. I smiled in sympathy, I knew very well what it was like to be inflated. I was in a good shape right now, my figure only a little enhanced by my powers. I'd been developing the habit of staying a little inflated, partially to maintain a certain degree of invulnerability and super strength, but mostly out of vanity.Airtankgirl: Squeaky8 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
Still smiling, now more at myself, I checked my watch for my remaining time left on lunch, and frowned when I saw the hands still in the same place they were when I left the office. No, I didn't have more lunchtime available, my watch battery had died. Lucky
ATG: InflatressLaetitia had a wonderful life. The coastal resort they were shooting the swimsuit section of the catalog was heavenly. Clear water, clearer skies, warm sun and clean sand. The supermodel backstroked towards the beach, her slim arms and shapely but powerful legs driving her through the water. Still many yards out she rolled over onto her flat stomach and began to stroke for home when something below her in the water caught her eye. No expert in tropical marine life, she was certain that there wasn't normally anything that glowed bright green in these waters.ATG: Inflatress9 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
Sucking in a lungful of air she dove down through the surf, making the few yards between her and the bottom with no effects from the pressure. Laetitia had always been a great swimmer, handled pressure well and her eyes weren't too bothered by salt water so she could see around her. She drifted down to kneel on the sandy bottom

"Abra haberdashery," The Amazing Enchantra passes a hand in front of the rabbits face and to all appearances pulled a black wand from the rabbit's mouth. She displayed it before the audience, giving it a quick twirl with her fingers and balanced the wand upright and spinning on her palm. Then she closed her fingers around it and stopped it's motion, then slowly turned her hand to show the "wand" had become a flat black disc. Then the magicienne raised the disc to the audience and gave it a sharp shake, so that with a 'POP' it became a black top hat which she perched on her honey-coloured hair, and secured it with a pat.
"Anyone can pull a rabbit out of a hat, but how often do you see it the other way around?" she asked the audience who rewarded her with applause.
ATG: The Flatterer "Manda, look at those women there!" Lynn hissed at me.ATG: The Flatterer8 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
I looked over my fashion magazine at the two women walking into the coffee shop. They were about the same age, late twenties, older than us. They were both attractive and both dressed well in designer clothes, one in tight jeans and a loose top, the other in a casual jacket and skirt set in a lovely salmon colour silk blend.
Their clothes weren't exactly why Lynn had alerted me. Rather it was what was filling them. The figures of both women were noticeably and obviously inflated. Their bodies bulged in exaggerated hourglass shapes from the gas filling them.
The blonde in jeans was filling her jeans in a very well-padded way, the tight denim bulging around her inflated hips and bottom, while her top, meant to be loose was now tight across her
