The first snows had fallen in the mountains and the autumn colors down the valley were at their peak, creating a great color contrast with the blue sky... At the end of the valley stands proudly the mount Olan, with its 3500m.
Despite the cloudless sky, the beautiful colors and the snow in mountains allowed me to realize some pictures that couldn't be done in another place in my country.
It was a very good experience to be in such a place at this precious time of the year!

This shot was taken yesterday's morning in a magnificient valley.

We planned this trip just the day before as we knew there could be fog and cirrus clouds at sunrise time... indeed there was a sea of mist, and the cirrus clouds made a wonderful glowing light at dawn which tinted the mist, while the land was still dark. A magic moment spent in a preserved wild landscape.

Warm sunrise lights set on fire the autumn landscape, under a beautiful display of altocumulus clouds. Shot in one of the last local wild valleys.

An image from my trip to the Alps in october.
Autumn colors were at their peak, contrasting with blue sky, and first snows had fallen in the high mountains... a typical scene of the alps, seen from the beautiful sands of a dry river.

Autumn doesn't want to leave us this year here.
The trees still have strong red autumn colors which were amplified by the warm sunset lights... with the beautiful display of clouds above, it was a quite impressive sight !

A beautiful sunrise from november with some crackin' red light.
It was taken from a natural hill with many bushes and some interesting ground : it was covered in green moss and the brown heather was red in the sun... with the fog down the valley, this scene made some strange effect, it was quite magical and a bit otherworldly.

This photograph shows the Mont Blanc Massif in the last glow of the setting sun and the impressive Auigelle Verte right in the middle of the picture. The appearing pattern of meltwater streams that drain into lakes on the valley floor is the result of fresh snowfalls over the past few days.

Beautiful golden light piercing through some "heavy" november sky a bit before sunset. Still some autumn colors in the trees and relatively warm air, quite disturbing as we had huge snow falls at the same period last year.

Title because we came to this spot with a bit of late and a few seconds later the light disappeared. Just had the time to do the several exposures needed for this image.

Ephemeral and intense sunrise captured last week.
A strong golden light pierced through the clouds for a very short moment, painting the whole land and sky in gold. The mist covering the mountains away made the scene even more surreal.
