Wings. ^^ Something different... I don't do a lot of 'from behind' pics, but they're very unique...and give me a chance to show off my fantastic shoulder muscles. *flexes* No, don't look at Jake here, I'm talking about myself! I can do 100 push-ups and sit-ups in one sitting, bishes. I'm serious.
Anyway, moving away from my ripped arms... ENJOY THE WINGS. (Oh no...maybe he's like Idracil...and his wings get all the attention and block all the awesomeness! D: I don't know!!!)
The worst kind of itch...is the one that's been there since the seventh century!!!
Abdulaziz, being awesome, as usual. And cute. Always with the cute.
And hey! Check out that shading! I figured since I nailed down the soft-shading/sketch style pretty nicely, I should work more on my cell/gradient shading. I.e; my hard-soft shading, with more gradients/highlights thrown in... I love the linework.
And the pose is great, wahaha. He always looks so pleased with himself. :3
So nice to get some personal work done!!! Only one more paper and presentation to go, phew.
And feel free to pick/make suggestions for the shading/highlights - /specifically,/ the shading/hightlights. Thanks in advance. ^^
Here's part 3/4 of my commissions for - this is Ice Elysium, and is a gift for a friend of hers! The next and final piece for her is also a gift for another of her friends, the first two dragons being her own. ^^
Ice dragons! I love the blues on this gal - I tried to really emphasize the shininess and kind of translucent nature of ice, especially old ice like that in glaciers.
Constructive criticism is welcome! Commissions in this style are still available.
Here's my entry for the mascot contest at the group .
Midnight dragon, beast, slimy thing! Check this beast out - thick, muscular, long tail for balance, killer hooked claws on all his paws, horns, fangs, frills, ehm...
I'm really happy with this guy for several reasons... Not only do I totally love his design and the colours, but I'm really, really proud of the shading I did. I've been practicing this style on chibis lately, but am very happy to see how well it translated into a finished piece.
Expect a lot of my pieces, (if I do many more before I go overseas but definitely when I return, inshallah,) in this style.
Ah, pretty purple lady! At first she was a brighter purple, but went with greys. Also, since the refs I was given didn't actually show her midsection, (nor her markings,) I had artistic liscence to make them myself. ^^
