This is Lisa Simpson from Konami's classic arcade brawler based on the very funny TV show. Just because Lisa is a mature, intelligent little girl doesn't mean she can't use a jump rope as a whip and kick some ass.

This was another challenging project because of the large protruding jump rope. I think it turned out quite well.

This hoop features the lovely, Marge Simpson. To be honest, I've always wanted Marge to be my mom. I think she's the best :)

This hoop is currently up for grabs in my shop. Find it here:

My Perler Lisa Simpson was very popular, so I decided to make her big brother as well. He's Bart Simpson; who the hell are you? Again, this is from Konami's 1991 arcade beat-'em-up.

There was a slight ironing mishap, but I don't think it's too noticeable.

This is the most ambitious hoop I’ve done to date. It took, like, a thousand hours to make but in the end it was totally worth it. Lisa Simpson has been a role model to me since I was 5 years old and I would like to think has been an inspiration to a generation of girls to embrace who they are and to pursue knowledge and truth. She will forever be my Queen.

(this hoop is going on my wall and is not for sale. sorry, guyz.)

Been really into making Simpsons embroideries. This hoop has sold but was 7 inches in diameter.

Here they are all together - America's favorite family as they appeared in the 1991 arcade game, made out of Perler beads. All told, this was a pretty big project!

Here's the third in my series of Simpsons characters from the 1991 arcade game. Homer looks very pleased that he's about to go "bowling." Aren't beat-em-ups fun?
