Wish I had more time on this. Surprised nobody had this idea (I didn't see it at least).

This is my version of the Executioner. I am a huge fan of the game and really enjoyed doing this piece.

I decided to add this one because my friends really liked the background compared to the monochromatic version.

Man, I’m a huge fan of Resident Evil.

I remember the first time that I came across the original Resident Evil videogame – I was at a friend’s house with a bunch of people for game night, and one guy started playing it while we all watched in the dark.

When that first zombie slowly turned its head around and glared at me from the TV screen, I freaked.

And this was just 5 minutes into the game.

And when those zombie dogs come busting through the window, I literally jumped from my seat. Admit it, it freaked you out the first time too

Freaky, but so much fun!

So when I saw this latest Resident Evil contest, I just had to try and draw the creepy Executioner, but I also wanted to give a shout out to the main characters from the very first game.

I wondered how our original heroes would fare against this newest undead villain, so here’s how I envisioned the battle going down.

And for all you rabid Resident Evil fans (like me), I put in few small references to the original game – I hope you enjoy my small tribute to this awesome videogame series!

My entry was inspired by the bit in the contest verbiage about battling another character. I thought- what greater of a battle than between two titans of death? Of course they\'re from different worlds, but I tried to capture a similar macabre between the two franchises. Feel free to d/l for full wallpaper size.

In this scene, the city has fallen to the darkness surrounding. Shadows loom and seep between the creases of the city. Amongst its fading ruins and undead demons filling the streets, two of hell\'s champions meet. Their paths cross and are able to go no further. Each tighten their hold on their weapons of choice. And as the world echoes closer and closer to Hell\'s vision, the two prepare to fight...

Kratos vs Executioner

The Dance of Death! Since the contest (for me) is over, I've added some touch ups to this piece. It was a last minute attempt, so I wanted to add some details that were left out, for lack of time.

This is my entry for the Wacom Dreams contest.

To me, dreams are what keep us alive. I believe that one who has no dream is like a dead person. Dreams are there to keep everyone of us going, to help us go through hard times. Life is not always beautiful, but we must see what is beautiful in it and cherish it, and we must always believe in something; having goals and hopes is what makes us stronger and better, otherwise, we're running in circles or having our head buried in the sand.

So this my idea of what dreams are, and this is what I wanted to represent -more of a general definition- instead of illustrating my own personnal dreams.

This is a self-portrait. To the left, the caterpillars are the dreams breeding in our mind. They are building their silk tent in the midst of dead leaves and branches, hoping to become of course pretty butterflies. To the right, the butterfly is one of those dreams that came into being.

Pretty simple, really.
