Why Colored?This is the only time that I can finally have enough time to write a journal again. Actually no. I have so many things I should be doing now, but I just really need to write again because it's been so long that I haven't. And that sucks. I wanna write, write, write.
So anyway... these past few months, I've sat in artist tables during events, sold my comic titles and artworks, had the chance to meet fellow indie artists, indie fans and whatnot. Long story short, I noticed that on every occasion, there ought to be some people who will ask me, "Colored? Isn't that kind of pricey to produce?" To those who aren't aware of it, yes, I do produce some of my comic titles, and sell them in vibrant fully colored books. Dear Diary would be the best example. And yes, just as you would expect, it does cost a fortune producing comic books like these. At least for someone who's an indie.

Cheshy's Art Contest, Desu! $400 in prizes, desu!Iportant edit: So...it seems like I have a huge apology to make. I've had a few people express interest in this, including a handful of very close friends, but it seems that I'm going to have to postpone this, for personal reasons, and more importantly, for health reasons. My finances obviously hinge on my health, and those who are closest to me know I've been having health problems from late last year, right up until now, and they don't seem to be going anywhere. If anything, my health problems are getting worse. On Monday, I'm off to the doctors to have a veritable bevy of tests run, including some which those who know me even remotely will know I'm going to fare badly at. Those tests in particular take both an emotional and mental toll on me, and I tend to be exhausted for days afterwards, although I hide it well, if you don't know what to look for.
