Rainbow came up behind Fluttershy and wrapped her arms around the shy girl. Fluttershy glanced around nervously, turning around to face Rainbow, who responded by pulling her in for a passionate kiss. After that, she couldn't complain. There was something about the way that their lips fit together so perfectly, and how Rainbow's always had the faintest hint of bubblegum, as she was often chewing. Rainbow pulled away after a moment, a playful smile on her face.
"What, afraid we'll get caught?" she teased. When the other girl didn't reply, her smile faded.
"It's not that I'm ashamed to be with you," Fluttershy tried to explain. "But I don't want anyone to treat us differently."
"There's nothing wrong with us 'Shy," Rainbow insisted yet again, pulling her into her embrace and holding her close. "We are who we are. If our friends really care about us, they'll accept that we want to be with each other."
Fluttershy sighed in contentment, letting her head rest on Rainbow's sho
FlutterDash--Pilot Pt. 3Rainbow Dash's eyes fluttered open the next morning to greet a clear, crisp sky. All the clouds had been cleared away after the storm of the previous night, having done their job and washed clean the air over Ponyville. She smiled contentedly; the morning after a storm was always the most beautiful. This particular morning was made even lovelier by the other warm presence lying against Dash in her cloud bed. She smiled warmly. Fluttershy was still sleeping, so Dash laid her head back down against her, sighing contentedly. Nothing had happened last night, just a few soft, shy kisses. The blue pegasus had burned with desire, but since it was their first night together, she hadn't wanted to offend the sensitive Fluttershy.FlutterDash--Pilot Pt. 33 years ago in Romance More Like This
Slowly, green-blue eyes opened. "Rainbow Dash?" she asked sleepily, rolling over to face the other pegasus. Dash smiled at her. "Good morning, Fluttershy," she said, leaning down and kissing the tip of her nose. Fluttershy blushed, smiling up at her friend. "Good mornin

"It's so... big."
The word that Fluttershy was really looking for was 'empty', but that assessment sounded a little bit harsh. Still, it was unnerving to stare at a house made entirely of clouds. It wasn't entirely without decoration, of course. Here a column stretched up toward the ceiling, finely crafted in the classical Peloponysian style. There a long bench grew up out of the floor. And off in the next room there was the rainbow pool. But it was all so... sterile, and not at all what she had expected. There were no posters of the Wonderbolts, no clutter, no hastily discarded training equipment, no anything. Fluttershy gave the place another wide-eyed look that shook her rain-soaked mane just enough to send it flopping over her eye. Oh right. No towels, either.
"Um, do you have any way to... you know..."
"To... oh! Not really, no. Usually just let the wind and the sun take care of it, it's easier that way."

A squeak to her left made Dash fly over to one side of Fluttershy's house, where she discovered her friend struggling to escape from a tiny wooden house that was obviously meant for some kind of small animal. Angel Bunny was holding onto the filly's front hooves, straining to remove her from the miniature doorway.
"Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked, flying to her and helping the yellow filly escape from her wooden confinement. "What are you doing in there?"
"Iah!" Fluttershy squealed as she popped free and tumbled on top of her liberator. She fluttered off of the squashed Rainbow Dash, blushing as she helped her friend up. "I'm sorry, Rainbow Dash. You see, Angel Bunny lets me spend the night in there with him whenever I have a nightmare."
"A nightmare?" Rainbow Dash frowned, studying her timid friend. Fluttershy had nightmares?
She nodded. "Yes. Some

It was a glorious day in Equestria. The avatar of chaos had been defeated, and a new stained-glass window was added to Princess Celestia's grand hall. The Element Bearers and all of Ponyville gathered in the castle to celebrate. The Princess turned to her faithful student, Twilight Sparkle. "Thank you, Twilight," she said. "You showed true bravery and confidence earlier today. And with that, you brought the end of Discord, once and for all."
An evil laugh filled the great hall. Large pink clouds swirled overhead. "What in tar-nation?" Applejack managed to get out. everyone was in shock at this sight, but none more than Twilight and Celestia.
A large figure loomed in the center of the hall. It reared back to show a familiar draconequus face. "Au, Contraire, mon Capitan..." It stated, sending a chill up everypony's spine. "Heeee's BAACK!" Discord let out another maniacal laugh.

Sweetie Belle was always a welcome sight, especially when Scootaloo was harping about some absurdly dangerous idea to try out. The idea today was something about base jumping, and Apple Bloom had a feeling she didn't want to know what that was. The pegasus flew outside to find a very frightened-looking Fluttershy cowering on her porch. Instantly, Rainbow Dash's stomach twisted and she bit back a flinch. She hated seeing that fear. "Are you okay, Fluttershy?" she asked, approaching her hesitantly.
Fluttershy nodded silently, then jumped slightly as a clap of thunder resonated across the darkening skies. Dash looked past her to the skyscape. The weather pegasi were out and about, busily bouncing rain and lightning out of the cloud cover. The rainbow pegasus could have kicked herself. How could she have forgotten the weather patrol was making a storm tonight?! Another clap of thunder boomed, and Fluttershy squeaked, shivering.
"Fluttershy you flew all the way up here in a storm?" Rainbow's house was above the cloudline, so the storm raged beneath her home, not over it. The sk

"I know," Rainbow said looking down, "But Fluttershy's been my friend since we were fillies. She knows everything about me." There was more to it than that. Fluttershy was the only pony who Rainbow could drop the brave face and allow herself to be vulnerable. 'Fluttershy let's me just be me,' Rainbow thought, 'I love her, but I can't.' She shook her head and said flatly, "I ask too much from Fluttershy as it is. I can't ask this from her."
"But," Pinkie said, "What if she likes you too?" She remembered the day Rainbow told her she was in love with Fluttershy. Rainbow had returned from a picnic with Fluttershy and looked sad. When Pinkie asked her what was bothering her, Rainbow swore her to secrecy and told her that she was in love with Fluttershy. Pinkie was stunned and asked if she told her and she began to cry. Chapter 1: In My Place
Applejack was trotting across her family's farm. The late afternoon sun was still beaming down warmth across Equestria and Ponyville was no exception. The orange mare trotted in the heat to the farthest reaches of the groves to find a familiar red stallion, her brother.
"Big Mac! Where in Celestia's name are ya?" Applejack shouted into the grove of trees.
Before Big Macintosh could reply, Applejack found him with the wagon attached and hurried up to him. The stallion's body looked tired despite it not reflecting on his face.
"Have ya been out here in all this heat, Big Mac?" Applejack asked, looking at his sweaty red coat.
"Eeyup," the stallion spoke his usual phrase.
His sister gave an displeased expression, "And what have ya been doin'? It's not even applebuckin' season fer 'nother two months."

Chapter 4: Maps
The next morning, Big Macintosh woke up a bit earlier than he had originally planned. Taking great care into packing his saddlebag in the kitchen, he wanted the day to go off without a problem. He placed some apple turnovers in his bag as well as a few golden delicious apples before closing it up. Just as he was about to trot out the front door, he paused and turned around, trotting back up to his room. On his dresser was a piece of paper. Scribbled onto the paper was a map that the stallion drew up from memory the night before. He quick placed in his bag securely before going back downstairs to exit the house out into the cloudy and windy morning.
Trotting to Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkie Pie was living with the Cakes, the red stallion began to grow nervous. He couldn't exactly place the reason why he was feeling such, but the thought of being with Pinkie on this day was enough to have butterflies. Taking calmin

Granny Smith wouldn't be awake for another half-hour and Applejack and Applebloom a couple more. Stifling a yawn, the red farmer headed downstairs with soft steps unexpected from a pony so large. Years of living in the old house gave him intimate knowledge of every creaky floorboard and rusty-hinged door. He headed into the kitchen to fetch an apple for breakfast before leaving the house for the day's labor.
Plowing, seeding, and weeding the half dozen or so fields around Sweet Apple Acres took up the greatest portion of his time, but thankfully he had that done around noon. An hour later the pres

"Oh my gosh, Fluttershy!!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Fluttershy!!!" Rarity cried.
"SHIT!!" Rainbow Dash swore yet again.
Fresh tears flowed down my face as I cradled the left side of my face, quiet yet heavy sobs racking through my body. I felt someone touch my shoulders and reflexively whipped around and climbed up to the top of the tree as fast as I could. I hugged the considerably thinner trunk of the tree with my right arm, I sat on a branch and cried until I felt the tree start swaying.
Looking down I saw Pinkie, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash all climbing up to me. Pinkie pie reached me first, taking my hand and giving a comforting squeeze. Applejack came next, a foot or so lower than us, wearing a concerned expression.
"Come down, sugar-cube," she pleaded. "It ain't safe up here. You could fall and get hurt real bad."
"Come on, Fluttershy, let's get down from the tree," Pinkie smiled a little smile at me.
The Angel's Flower - Chapter 1I opened my blue eyes and sat up in my bed. I wiped the crust from my eyes and stretched before slipping out from under the covers. I rubbed my nose in Angel's fur, then put the rabbit back on the floor. Walking over to the closet, I dressed in a thin yellow sun-dress and a pair of sandals. I quickly brushed my hair, letting it hang over my right eye.
As I descended the stairs of my cottage, someone started knocking loudly on the front door. I squeaked and jumped in surprise, but landed on a step wrong and nearly fell down the staircase. I hurried over to the door and peeked out through a crack, only to have it elbowed open by an impatient Rainbow Dash.
The pushy sixteen-year-old was dressed in a light blue cut-off tank-top, skinny jeans, and worn out black sneakers. As usual, her shoulder-length rainbow-colored hair was feathe

Chapter 3: Little Bit
A week past since Pinkie Pie had began taking Big Mac away from his normal duties around the farm to have the red stallion relax and unwind. To Big Mac's surprise, each day he was looking forward to seeing the pink party pony more and more. There was something about the mare that aided in having fun in the activities they would do with each other. Whether the two ponies were doing simple activities like baking cupcakes and watching over the Cake twins or ziplining through the Everfree Forest (something that scared Big Mac on his first attempt), Big Mac always would enjoy spending time with the hyperactive Pinkie Pie. Even if he could only get a few words in at a time.
Trotting back to the farm, Big Mac was accompanied by the bouncy Pinkie Pie after their recent activity of painting.

"Wind?" Dash licked the back of her forehoof before raising it high above her into the air.
"Good! Clouds?" she called to herself. Looking from atop the cloud where she was perched, she noted the empty sky around her.
"Clear! Cheering section?" The blue pegasus sat up, ears alert as if expecting a round of praise. After a few silent seconds, she looked over the edge of her cloud at the ground below. "I said 'cheering section?'"
Rainbow Dash could just barely make out the yellow and pink blur. Fluttershy, sitting peacefully on the grass far below the blue pegasus' cloud, shot up to attention. "Oh, um,... yay!" she replied, though barely above a whisper.

She was about to do something she would regret.
She was just so sick of it. Everypony thought they could get away with it. Everypony thought they could do what they wanted because they would never be told not to. Every single time it had happened before had driven her crazy, and she had finally snapped.
She was going to end it. She was never going to let it happen again. It was going to end, and it was going to end now.
It had all started earlier that day. The sun rose just like any other morning, warming the previously cool air and bringing all of the little creatures out of their nests. Birds sang as they flew through the sky, announcing the arrival of day to anyone who had yet

Dashie managed to shove AJ off of her and swiped the blonde's hat. As Applejack and Rainbow Dash ran around and around the tree, I remembered how my dad had ignored me in the same way the previous night. I bit my lip, recalling that evening.
I finished cleaning up the dinner dishes and walked quietly into the living room, where my father was lounging on the couch while he watched TV. Taking a calming breath, I walked a little ways into the room where he could see me.

Rainbow carefully lifted the blanket off of her side of the bed and tried to slip out unnoticed. She was just about to leave when she felt the hooves tighten around her. She smiled and shook her head, allowing herself to be pulled back into the bed.
"Where're you going Dashie?" Fluttershy mumbled sleepily, her eyes half open.
"I gotta get some early weather jobs done," Rainbow explained. Fluttershy lifted her head to look out the window, seeing that the sun had just barely begun to rise.
"Can't it wait for another few minutes?" she asked, her eyes drifting close again. Rainbow smiled sadly.
"Sorry, but I have to get them done before everypony wakes up," she said regretfully. The skies were clear, the sun was shining bright, and it was a beautiful day in Ponyville. Residents of the small town roamed around purchasing supplies, visiting friends, or meeting somepony that they've never met, or haven't seen in a very long time.
Not too far away and also not to high in the sky, was a home made of clouds and waterfalls that flowed out streams of rainbow. A cyan pegasus laid in the middle of the floor of the cloud home with her head in her hoofs. Rainbow Dash, the strongest, most awesome, the fastest, the most dashing, laid on the floor sniffling.
She heard nothing but the constant sobs coming from herself, and she only felt her body full of pain. Not physical pain, but that pain that you feel when you've been crying too hard, for far too long.
It was the same time every year, just a few days before, when her barricade broke down and all her emotions and memories poured out.

I, um, hello Rainbow Dash. You don't really know me, at least not all of me; but, I know you very much. I've known you for a really long time now.
I remember when we used to go to flight school when we were only fillies. I wasn't a really good flier, in fact, I was scared of flying. The colts at school were always making fun of me, calling me a "scared-y pony" and a coward; always making me cry. Every day, I hid inside the bathroom to hide from them and cry by myself.
But then, you came into my life. You protected me from those mean bullies; you never called me a coward nor made fun of my bad flying skills. You were the only one who wanted to be my friend; who always sat next to me in the lunch room. I was really shy at first, but I soon started liking your company.
Rainbow Dash, after all these years, I've finally realized something. I, I think I love you, Rainbow.
You are my protector; my shield. Every time I'm with you, I feel safe, as if nothing in the
