There is a realm which lives in constant fear of an evil dragon that lives on its outskirts. The dragon is not only evil, but also pretty much all-powerful, so you don't want to cross it...ever. Because of the dragon's influence over the realm, the kingdom's main religion is "dragonism", also known as the Draconic faith. In general, though, the dragon leaves the kingdom in peace, with one small exception. He demands that a young girl be brought to his cave, for him to keep as his prisoner. That girl is forced to sing and dance for him, until she starves to death or collapses from exhaustion. A new "Dragon Diva" is selected whenever one dies. This is pretty much the only thing the dragon demands of the kingdom, so in general, the country's people are more than happy to get the heck out of his way when he's choosing his next victim, or even openly help him, if it means that he'll refrain from wreaking any other kind of havoc on their realm. 1. She's out there sailing so alone tonight
Tossing left and right
And torn away from all she planned
I watch her from the safety of my shore
Wishing all the more
That I could pull her up to land
Uncharted waters crash like tears
Her sobs are thunder in my ears
And I know there's nothing I can say
To make the storm clouds go away
Your voice alone can calm this sea of rain
Though I can't know what she's going through
Please let me be a light for You
Just a whisper of hope in her hurricane
Just a whisper in the hurricane
2. Her brokenness is all that she can see
A shipwrecked destiny
A fog that hides Your arms so near
I'm stuck here like a lighthouse on a beach
There's so much I can't reach
All I can do is just be here
And I wish I could be in her stead
In these oceans I have never tread
Even as she struggles not to drown
Your hands are lifting
And even as she cries out in the dark
Your Son is

Frog is sitting on a log that is lying across a small pond.
Fish is swimming around in that pond.
Frog: We are all objects moving through space and time.
Fish: You are not moving; you are sitting. Neither am I moving through space; I am moving through water.
Frog: Mere quibbles, Quibbler. The water and the log are both moving through space as the world turns, and because you are in the water and I am on the log, we are moving too.
Fish: I object.
Fish: You said I was an object so I am objecting.
Frog: Ha, ha, very funny, Tiddler.
Fish: My name is Fish.
Frog: To me you are a tiddler. I am old and wise beyond your imagining.
Fish: You have no idea of what I can imagine. Besides, there's a lot I don't even need to imagine, such as pompous frogs on logs.

"Toothless! Toothless stop!"
Laughter disrupted Hiccup's protests to strip away much of their authority. Toothless had the boy pinned on the dewed grass of their cove. Something about the returning spring had put the dragon in a very playful mood.
"What is with you, you deranged reptile?" Hiccup asked with affection. His hands fought to keep the dragon at bay as the beast licked and nuzzled his face.
Hiccup hated a fresh coating of fish-saturated saliva as much as the next Viking, but nothing could dampen his mood on such a beautiful day. The thaw had come early that year; the trees had already budded and the air tasted sweet and warm. Birds returned to the cove after a winter's absence and danced overhead, echoing Hiccup's laughter with chirps of their own.
"Toothless stop" Hiccup said again. Toothless did not heed his command. The dragon's teeth had extractedthough Hiccup would be

Here I made Haru truly believe in herself. Most fan fictions have her turning into a cat, though for me, that seems the opposite of what Miyazaki truly intended for this female character.
She is in her true human form, because she now trusts in her decisions and has gained wisdom over the years. She had taken chances and decided a path for herself in her own life. There was always something special in her, which she has harnessed to develop into a very prominent woman. Despite wanting to see her dear friends from her past, her life now had taken her to far off places, and she learns that there is a difference between wanting to see them, and needing to see them.
In her life, Haru learned to become one of those helpful sorcerers, opening a doorway of a different world to her. Her apprenticeship and schoolings though difficult, she had excelled in. After that, she had many adventures, meeting and making new friends along the way. She had many jobs

It had been two days since Sonny left the producer, and this zombie child replaced him. They had been walking for what seemed years, leaving the sunny state of California behind since the man didn't want to remember anything. If anything, Joel was pushing back emotions. He wasn't one to cry, like he had been back there where the little DJ he secretly cared about had died. But with nothing left, the city he was half-raised in was gone. Lindsey was.. well.. When the man had spoken, the boy jumped, wide eyes searching before he calmed down to see it was just his 'friend'. Sonny flicked his hands, trying to find his voice but to no avail. He pouted, groaning with a shake of his head.

The sound of hooves packing in the freshly fallen snow; and the breathing of the horse and his rider was all that was heard. It was the first winter after his betrayal, and regretful memories linger when the reminders are everywhere you look. Lately, it reminded him to listen and be the Just king everyone expected. Words, Words, WordsIt was the end of the last normal day for Jonathan Fields. He had finished work at five and had come back to his modest apartment without a sense of accomplishment. Having fixed himself a hearty dinner of microwave soup and wrinkly carrot sticks, he sat down on his grey couch and turned on the TV. There wasn't anything on that really interested him, but he got some sparse enjoyment from complaining about the lack of content. He had almost reached that blessed hypnotic state the television could sometimes induce, when his cell phone bleeped and buzzed a tired tune that he had long since ceased to hear. Five Out of Five Ponies Who Read Drink TeaSpike walked into Mare Cranston's, a small, quiet building with a quaint wood motif and cozy lighting that gave just the right ambiance to its shelves, which were filled with a wide variety of teas both common and exotic. The shop was known for carrying obscure, unpopular, or otherwise difficult-to-find brands, and it was the only store in Canterlot- or, indeed, within a one-hundred mile radius of Ponyville- to sell Twilight's favorite tea, an odd blend called Old Grey whose taste would best be described as bookish if "bookish" were a word one could reasonably apply to beverages.Five Out of Five Ponies Who Read Drink Tea3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

The My Little Pony Fanfiction Guide, Part TwoPART TWO: THE ORIGINAL CHARACTER EPISODEThe My Little Pony Fanfiction Guide, Part Two3 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
Welcome back, aspiring brony writers. Now that you know the basic lessons on how to write a story that's better than whatever you wrote in kindergarden(or any of my first stories) you're on to the next step: creating original characters.
Why are we spending a part on Original Characters, or OCs? Because sometimes, you have a story that none of the show's characters fit in. For example, I have this really silly idea where a bunch of serial killers meet each other and pick at each other's flaws and guts, and clearly I'm not going to take the psycho Twilight and Pinkadema route LIKE I KNOW A LOT OF YOU DO...seriously, installing those cameras in your house was not worth it...
So sometimes you have a story that you want your own creation in and decide their personalities, and you will learn the greatest part of writing: It's the only field you can play God in and still get away with without moral consequences. After all, I decided the character I kn

Ever since the dragons busted through the gate, he felt as he needed to tell something to the water mage. He wasn't really sure of what or how he would do it, but he needed to - and later amidst the battles, he realized it wasn't the time to do it. If they didn't pay the right amount of attention to the battlefield, they'd surely die, and dying wasn't exactly a thing that was in the ice mage's plans for that day.
During their fights against Motherglare's minions, though, he couldn't stop not focusing on the battlefield. Of course, Gray did see the enemies, and defended against them, as well as attacked, but he did it automatically - the many years he spent fighting and training weren't in vain. The things that they were focusing on revolved around the safety of his comrades, specially the one who was fighting beside him.
