Because I'm so tired, I can't even dream anymore.
Because I'm afraid I'm going to choke on my own tears and have that wretched seawater taste in my throat all day even though I shouldn't worry about that since I'd probably die anyway if that happened.
Because I constantly check my cell phone with increasing anxiety because I'm always afraid someone's trying to call me or text me and they need me right n o w and I want to make sure I'm here for them even though no one ever calls.
Because I have to breathe, and I start thinking about breathing and I realize that if I stop breathing I die, which just makes me think about it more, and really I wouldn't put it past myself to just stop breathing when I'm asleep, so I can't take a moment to let my guard down.
Because even if I do dream, it'll be filled with unpleasant suppressed memories and all my worst fears and pain, and I know they all say you can't feel pain when you dream, but it hurts it hurts, an

The weather's been getting warmer, slowly but steadily, and with each day of sunshine, Hanna gets even more chipper than usual. He hadn't really thought such a thing was possible, but it seems Hanna's constantly surprising him.
Case in point: he returns from his nightly walk to find Hanna already awake, dressed, and staring out the window with an obvious air of barely-contained excitement. The click of the door shutting makes him turn, his grin giant and welcoming as ever. "Amairgin!" (Apparently that's him for today. He'll have to look it up later; he's sure it's some historical figure or other. Hanna's depth of knowledge on that particular subject is another thing that keeps catching him by surprise.)
"I," Hanna says, pulling his attention back to the present, "have got awesome news. Ben called me to switch shifts so I have the DAY OFF, isn'tthatawesome? Look how nice it is outside already!" It's true, the sunrise had been particularly pretty, pinkish purple sky turning to a b

It was the end autumn, the time were the world lost its classic orange and red colors, shifting to a more gloomy shade of gray, turning white the instant it starts snowing. Maybe that was the reason why the young trainer had chills running down his spine the instant he left town. Probably wasn't the best time to leave, but promised his best friend that he was gonna get to his place in a few hours, so he had to hurry up.
"Can't be much longer now..." Peter muttered to himself as he started to run. He really didn't want to stay out too late, and he wanted to get to shelter just in case the weather got worse.
Seconds later he regretted thinking that, cause a few drops of rain started falling, and it got worse and worse in the following hour, until it was literally pouring with rain. T

Which is a silly thing to do, utterly foolish.
But sometimes he can't help it.
Sometimes, he watches her beautifully strange eyes flick to his, vivid against his own ordinary gaze, and he remembers the day he asked her to marry him. The way her slender arms laced around his neck as she kissed his cheek and whispered "Yes, a thousand times, yes," her warm breath tickling his ear as his heart flooded.
Sometimes he sees her smile, soft lips curving upwards in a gentle slope, and he remembers their wedding night, the night she loved him for the first time. The way he held her in his arms, how they slow-danced close together on a hotel balcony in the balmy, salt-kissed air and made love at the warmest edge of the ocean.
Sometimes he notices the way the sun shines on her hair, highlighting streaks of silvery light in her dark waves, and he remembers the picnic they had, the day she told him that he was going to be a father. The way she gently pressed his

It was like this that the doctor found the couple heads down praying, whispering. He cleared his throat to get their attention.
"Mr. and Mrs. Cross?" It sounded ominous, of course in hospitals at the bed of a loved one, things always sounded that way. Mr. Cross gave the boys hand a squeeze and stood facing the doctor.
The woman, Mrs. Cross stood as well and went to her husband. They looked so utterly hopeful, which, given the situation was amazing. In the bed lay their only son stricken with a disease that none of the doctors in the small hospital had been able to label. All they knew was that
Livin' La Vida LocaHe first met her in New Orleans; during Mardi Gras, if he remembered correctly. And, well, if memory served, then yes, it was indeed during that wild week of festive celebrations, as the streets were quite literally packed full of thriving, jiving, warm living human beings. Bright lights and loud music were everywhere, and he absolutely adored it. It was that fleeting glimpse of gleaning, pale, preternatural skin that first alerted him, and he knew instantly that another creature of the night was haunting the busy streets. It excited him. "OHman!" The unpredictable in question is standing on his toes, elbows resting on the windowsill, beaming out at the three feet of snow that's fallen overnight. "There's so no way we're staying in, we have to go play in that. We can build a snowman! We can name him Beowulf." Hanna flops down onto the mattress beside him, wriggling up close to flash him a hundred-watt smile. "So hey. I've got this great idea for a date. You, me, a sled, some hills. What d'you say?"
He says yes, of course; he's pretty sure he always says yes to Hanna. He might not've, though, if he'd realized exactly what Hanna meant by 'some hills.'

Hanna sat there, hands clutching the armrests of the movie theater chair as though his life depended on it. The movie was seriously freaky and scary. He looked to the side to see if the rest of the theater goers wee as scared as he was, and almost jumped into the air as he saw an orange glow from the person next to him. It took him a moment to remember that this was his undead roommate that he had invited to come to the movies with him.
He was starting to think that maybe he should have brought Conrad. Or Veser. At least they would have been as scared as he was, or at least slightly freaked out. His orange-eyed roommate didn't even look slightly fazed from the horrific action that was happening on the screen.
Hanna gulped loudly and returned his attention back to the movie. He paid for it, so he was going to watch it. All of it.
They walked out of the theater and headed towards their home. The undead expected Hanna to be bouncing up and down stating how good or

Love was never difficult for Finas. The pure emotion without circumstance that could lead to problems was always easy for him. Feelings weren't that important, they were there or they weren't. He never understood people who spent their time thinking about their inner-life. He acknowledged that he felt, and he sometimes explained what he felt, but that was it. The main reason for his inner peace was due to the fact that everything troubling him came from the outside. Nothing could confuse him. Love was no exception.
He remembered the love he felt for his parents. The blind, puppy-like adoration he felt for his mother, and the muffled and heavy respect whenever he saw his father. They were two, vague and different kinds of love, but the effect was the same.
When he was fifteen he noticed another kind of l
Just Don't - Sherlock"Have you even been listening to me?" John asked suddenly, interrupting himself as Sherlock hummed quietly, the consulting detective's eyes distant and his expression empty. John had seen this look on Sherlock's face before; in fact, he was really starting to get quite used to it. That didn't mean he particularly appreciated being ignored, however, and occasionally his frustration overtook his patients. He'd thought it was a joke.
He laughed, waved his hand, and dismissed all that Finas had said with a mock salute, shaking his head and directing his attention back to whatever was currently holding his attention on the television.
"Whatever; you'll be back, you'll miss me too much- you always do."
It wasn't the first time one of them had tried to leave the other, though ultimately they'd always ended up back together after such stints. All that this meant was that the dark-skinned vampire would have to take care of himself for a while, which wasn't all that hard, despite how troublesome Casimiro made it out to be.
This time it wouldn't be so easy. Casimiro missed something important

The sun was setting behind the tall buildings of Steel City, casting a lovely red hue over the garden in which Fresnel and Mary sat. Fresnel liked this part of his home, the only spot of green to be found throughout the city. He sat with his back against a tree, strumming his ukelele gently. Practice, practice, practice. Mary said he was great at it, even as he winced at every off tune note he made, but then she had always been nice. Always friendly and encouraging.
Always. Even now, as she spent more and more time with that rhydon priest, Thomas, discussing... what, he didn't know. Religion. Good and evil. Reincarnation. Things Fresnel found interesting at first, but now he was weary of it all. Weary of Mary constantly rushing past him after class, calling back apologies and promises to see him the next day. A Myth Alive
a) Of Times Long Gone
Castle halls, in dusk and silence
Six friends arrive for Princess' call
Hear the answer for mystery
Stained glass tells the ancient myth
Tell of the era of Discord
Times of endless misery
Oppression under chaos' reign
Brought down by the power of Harmony
Thus found, the olden power
Spark from the dawn of times
Wielded by the sisters of sky
Sun and Moon, they found the Elements of Light
But now other ponies carry the infinite might
"You once fought the great foe:
Elements' power is within you.
Fate and task has passed on from me,
I can't wield their strength with me anymore "
Locked deep in the safe of castle
Six gems from infinity
"Fear not, I have utmost faith in you.
Be brave, you will vanquish Discord with these!"

I Am A Pirate, You Are A Princess
Once upon a time there lived a Princess who lived in a nice village full of nice people and nice things. The King and Queen were prefect parents to their darling daughter, and gave her everything she wanted. That was, until she began to ask for the strangest things. She asked for caution tape, animals in jars, goggles, chains, mutant snails, knifes, the oddest things you could think of. She begged for capes, pet wolves and giant lions, pleaded for man-slaves to act as dogs, began collecting swords, guns, and the things that princesses really shouldn't have, be near, or have even heard of. Her parents began to worry. At first, they would send their soldiers to find these things, but as the requests began to become odder and odder, they stopped. The queen was in a wretched state, wondering what went wrong.
One day, the Queen and her daughter were out on a walk, (well, the Queen was walking, the Princess was riding a giant lion), when the

My friend, you were not the only person. I was right there with you; I can't remember the last time I felt so hollow.
I understand that what the ponies did, they did out of self-preservation. Ponies cannot live in such a state of chaos; they're simply not the sort of creature that can manage that.
But demonizing him for what he did... I never viewed him as a classically "evil" character. He was the personification of chaos, essentially a force of nature. Calling him "evil" is like calling the embodiment of a hurricane "evil." Is it destructive and difficult to live with? Yes. But that is simply its nature and not some sort of active desire to do malice.
Was he malicious towards the ponies? Yes, but they were also trying to seal him. Heck, their kind had sealed him in essentially his own head for thousands of years. If I were him, I'd want serious revenge, and the fact that he didn't just maim everything he saw sort of says something, I think. In the end, he was just content with en

All I want is to see you
But youre so far away
Angels will fly
Beyond the ends of this old planet
To sanctuary, where you have always been
Beyond the endless ocean
They will find you alone
Angels will try
To tell you how much I need you
In my sanctuary, its nothing without you
I want you in my arms tonight
But all that I hold is nothing.
Away from pain and darkness
Ill shield you from it all
Angels will cry
The first time they lay eyes upon you
In sanctuary, where sun bathes you in light
They go as far as they can,
But will fall to the ground
Angels will die
Upon the shiny gates of heaven
Their sanctuary, where you choose to lay
All I knew,
is all gone
All thats left
Is in me

Renata was the founder of many character fan clubs when she first started making a name for herself. She went by her real name Rena back then. While she was grateful for her parents who had raised her to be a most decent individual, she felt that they were burdensome with all their demands and pleas to make her good. She eventually left home on reasonable terms at the age of fifteen, agreeing with her family that if she could prove herself capable of handling stuff on her own within a year, she would get free roams of anything afterwards.
Thus she set off with starting fan club strips for people as a business. People appreciated her presence, but as time went on she was ridiculed for her tendency to constantly sugar-coat her clients into giving her extra benefits in return for her services. She didnt really care at all anymore that she was intentionally rubbing herself into everyones good list, even as she gave others an annoying time. On
