two large wings like an angel
two eyes beady
Finally you're awake

my name is Rotan
I am the lord of this place
what do you want me
I want my freedom
my lovely princess
I'll make you my queen
I refuse to obey
I like someone else
your lover is dead
in a cage the corpse of her boyfriend was rotting
no this is not possible
You killed him
you are a murderer

I 'm in love with you
I have long spied
your life, your job, your appearance
you are the chosen one of my throne

the sky was became dark
she was running on ice which creaked every step
she was afraid
she did not know how to escape this phenomenon
she looked behind her
she was pursued by a flock of crows

A light medicinal scent filled the room. Mint, sweet berries and a sharp note of a plant I'm sure I've never seen before, but as a healer, he must have manipulated its powers hundreds of times while healing the sick and the wounded... just as he is tending to my wounds now. I knew nothing of the potent ingredients of the tonic he prepared for me, but I knew that the familiar tastes of fruit and mint were added to mask the bitter taste of the strange healing herb. I suppose they served their purpose.
He sat on a wooden stool before a long drawer unit that stood beside my hospital bed. The room was immaculate and white, and spare for the aged set of drawers everything in the room seemed brand new. As I rested my eyes, I could hear a drawer dragging against the wooden frame that contained it as it was opened, then the sound of glass bottles lightly tapping against each other as the healer moved small viles and bottles as he searched for a specific mixture.

Cyrian looked around. He was in a completely different spot from where he fell asleep before.
He rubbed his head. Whatever he was in, it looked like some run down ship. Maybe it was. He headed to the closest window. Maybe he could find out where he was from a look of his out sidings.
As soon as he looked outside, he screamed. Water was everywhere! As long as the eye could see, just horrible blue death.
Cyrian quickly backed away. He accidentally bumped into a strange beeping screen. Trying the best to take his mind off of the water around him, he decided to study it.
It was green, with lighter green circles all around it. There was a line also circling around it, along with each time it circled, it passed over this strange symbol shaped like a ship, giving off a vaguely calming beeping sound. Perhaps it was a device of hypnosis. The strange ship symbol seemed to be getting closer and closer to the center. It had almost reached it. Cyrian felt like enc

More than once in his life, Aang had made promises to himself.
Some of them were well founded, made sense, and had good logic behind them. His drive to complete these promises was the same as any other, simply the drive of making someone happy and keeping his word (and his honor). There were a few more promises that were a little more selfish than the promises he made for other people's sakes.
There was the promise to rebuild the Air Nomads, that was kind of selfish, in a way. There was the fact that he had sworn that above all else, he'd never lose Appa or Momo (that WAS selfish, putting animals above people...honestly). But Aang had only ever made one promise to himself that was so selfish is demanded a drive that just might kill him. A drive as dangerous as the person the promise was made about.
He had made the promise to himself one day, not utterly at random, while sitting "meditating" in the Air Temple he and everyone else was hiding out in. Sokka
11. Strange CustomsAang stepped into his room, yawning, long arms stretching up over his head. It had been another long day in the land of politicians, which he sadly found himself caught up in. Roku had never mentioned just how much politics were involved in the Avatar's world. Had he, Aang might have been able to ready his at the time fourteen year old brain for such things.11. As it were, Aang had known absolutely nothing about the world of politics and the evil creatures known as politicians that inhabited it. This would have been readily taken advantage of had one certain person, who turned out to be a very clever debater and a very good politician, not stepped up to help him learn. Zuko had made sure that Aang was never outsmarted by the more experienced, and older, individuals around him, and when and doubt, he'd say, you can always challenge them to an Agni Kai. There had been more than one time that Aang almost took him up on that offer.

Bright lights flashed about the giant room. Loud music pounded in my ears. This band wasn't widely known. I'd never heard of them before, but Kaji had, and he knows good music. If my parents found out I was here....I'd be in so much trouble. 15, grounded, without an adult, and only Kanji for protection? That's just asking for trouble.
"Yuukanna! Come on! Let's get closer!" Kaji said in my ear, excited and loud. I smiled a little. He was so funny when he was having a good time. I nodded and followed his lead.
Actually, 'followed' was a slight understatement. My best friend practically dragged me through the crowd of people.
I remember being elbowed and yelled at by the other spectators. I tripped a few times, but Kaji was always there to help me get back on my feet.

Id like to start by saying that what I think a vampire is will not necessarily fit the pop culture definition of one. You are free to disagree with me; however, if you wish to create a vampire for the Sanguine tournament, the vampires MUST fit in the Sanguine universe, and must therefore follow the rules listed here. And no, I will not accept But theyre not from that world as an excuse.
The biggest thing most people who are into modern vampire fiction will disagree on me with is my mystical-magical-only-semi-scientific view of vampires. I have several reasons for this.
>>>One, vampires are more supernatural than scientific. Science cannot explain everything, but magic can.
>>>Two, apparently trying to define them as scientific results in 3P1C PH4L3, like the Twilight series. Smeyerpires are NOT vampires--theyre dream

It was a normal day. Megurine Luka was preparing her stuff in the faculty room to prepare for her homeroom class. She rummaged around the papers lying around the desk. She was thinking of organizing them when she had free time. But she didn't have enough time to even fix the things around her own desk. Not that she was busy preparing for a test or anything. She was just busy, nothing more, nothing less. As she fixed the things, she was about to bring to the classroom, she looked at a picture between one of her lesson plans. It was a boy with blonde hair and ocean green eyes. A slight grin crossed her face then she kept the picture in a drawer in her desk. She looked at the small mirror on top of her desk to make sure her hair and make-up were fixed. She nodded, satisfied at how she looked like. She wore her silver rimmed glasses and picked up her stuff, she swiftly walked out of the faculty room, not wan

And, even better, love right beside him. Aang glanced down at the bracelet around his right wrist (his writing hand) and smiled to himself, twitching his wrist so the jewels caught the sun's rays. They were a beautiful set of white amethyst beads, and every five amethysts, a bright red ruby. Zuko had found the trinket while on campaign somewhere on the coast of the Earth Kingdom, where little tribes of waterbenders in hiding kept popping up.
He had told Aang, when he presented the young Avatar with it a year ago, that it reminded him of the combination of their tw

Aang was not your typical hormonal teenager. Or at least, he wasn't the kind that hit on the first good looking thing and screwed whatever would bend over first. He was selective, and very careful about who and what he wanted. His grandfather, Gyatso, had always taught him to be very careful about dating and to be sure you actually cared for the person before taking the next step.
That being said, he'd lost his virginity to his (now ex) girlfriend Katara after dating her for a year. They'd decided six months later to break up and instead just be friends. That wasn't the point though.
Truth was, Aang had never really found anyone that really got his blood boiling and made him, well, WANT them. Sure there were lots of pretty faces (and bodies), but he'd never found one that screamed "Aang". All of them were well, they were labeled. This kind of person could make you feel loving, this kind of person could make you feel happy, this kind of person made you feel lust. But so far, none

Everything is affected.
It begins with a ripple,
And it grows,
Sound rips through the air,
A shock wave.
Reverberations pound my ears

We are all connected
By the wave.
One great being.
The wave is our heartbeat,
And it flies into the air,
Til the final release,
Til the last reverberation
Leaves the sky.
Sweat drips from everything,
But we laugh
And the shock wave burns in our hearts
Til the next time.

"So are we dueling or not?" he said, not moving from their current position.
"Fine. Good luck, cutie..."
She winked and moved a few feet away. The boy was entranced by her figure, her sexy curves and her long flowing hair. He blushed at the way her hips moved when she walked. He snapped himself back and saw her in fighting position. He positioned himself as well and replied.
"Bring it on, beautiful "
Below the midday sun stood two teenagers, both taking deep breaths. They stood a few feet away from each other, doing breathing exercises, getting ready to duel.
"Ready?" the girl whispered, her hair being blown back by the wind
The boy nodded.
"Go!" shouted the girl, instantly forming a wave and aiming at the boy.
The boy formed a fireball and evaporated the wave directed at him. He punched repeatedly and sent fireballs towards the girl. She formed a wall of water in front of her and froze it, blocking the fireballs

As I cotinued,I surveyed the room. There was a man that looked a few years older than me with moppy, bleach-blonde hair, a lady with dark auburn hair and blood-shot eyes, and a bald man with a bandana around his head. The normalest of them Hawkie, who was, in all fairness, Sokka's pet. Messenger hawks were common all over by the time the war was over and done with, a mix of inbreeding with local bird species and their owners just leaving them behind making them widespread. Even so, Hawkie was a pretty weird messenger hawk.
He had been bought in a perfectly average apothecary in some smallish Fire Nation town while the gang were undercover, and he'd been pretty normal to begin with. But seriously? When in the name of all things spiritual did anything around Aang (or any of his friends for that matter) remain normal? Try never.
Hawkie became a weird bird the minute he took to sitting on Appa's horns with Momo, cawing at odd hours of the night when Momo would wake up to cause a ruckus and just....basically being Momo's twin. And when he delivered his first message, to the Bei Fong's no less. It was a wonder

Her attention was focused on the gallery of statues, or rather, the one spot that had, until recently, been occupied by the stone prison of Discord. I remember the day we last saw each other. He parted ways with me with a smile and a wave wishing me luck on my self-appointed mission. I scarcely heard of him through the multiple visits my friend gave. In the beginning, I had even received letters that I read when I could finally catch a break. They were the highlights of my days back then, bringing one of those rare smiles that I thought I could no longer produce.
However, one day, those letters simply disappeared. After three months of silence, I finally asked if there was any letter for me. My friend simply shook her head, but told me that he was doing fine, that he was still saving the world like the hero he was. I immediately blamed my own silence. How was I to expect a

And on that day where hearts meet,
Together you are bound.
Days, months, years later,
On that altar fine,
Those few words that you will never forget are said,
"You may kiss the bride."
A life of love,
And a love of life,
Together you'll stand,
And together you'll get through all of life's strife.

Aang wasn't sure which pack the other feline hybrid came from. They, his pack, were traveling and in unfamiliar territory. For all he knew, he could come from a village or be a rogue. It hardly mattered to him however, for no matter where it was he came from, Aang was determined to steal him away for himself.
Aang had always been attracted to beautiful things that held a sort of mystery about them. Indeed, it was one of the many things about him that brought his pack to all kinds of new places as they traveled around, roaming like the nomads they were. He was unofficial pack leader (he would never claim such a title) and so when a new venture seemed to catch his fancy, his pack would tag along as he sought it.
In this case they had simply been traveling, no real reason or rhyme behind it, just a desire to move on and find something new. But now they had paused, and amongst his pack members there were whispers of a dark furred hybrid that had caught their mateless leader's a
