Q: How long did it take you to get to your current standard of artwork?
A: About 4 years. Although in my opinion, it's not time that matters - it's attitude. With the right attitude to your art you can improve and reach a higher standard faster. It's all about the mind.
Q: How old were you when you started drawing/making art?
A: Well, I've been drawing all my life, but I only started taking it seriously when I was about 14.
Q: How long does it take for you to draw a full picture?
A: Ahh, that's a really tough one for me to answer. ^^ ;; I tend to go off and come back to drawings, and I work slower when I'm not happy with the picture. At a rough guess I would say about 5+ hours for a full painted digital piece such as this one. Traditional art varies more because I tend to do that at college as well. I've never actually timed myself

Having a bit of a problem..Well, i'm going to get my own laptop. And my dads friend is willing to give me one for free! She has 2 i can choose from, but neither work at the moment -.- one of them has a virus on it, which is not good at all (obviously). And the other gets blue screen after for like less then a minute of it being on! my dad says he can try and fix both of them, but he's not totally sure. The one that gets blue screen is a really nice computer, it's in perfect shape besides the blue screen. The other one is really old, well kinda, it's a laptop but it's very loud and it came out in like 2005!! so i kinda need help, i can choose between these 2 IF they get fixed. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? So we had to take my mom to the ER the other day (she's fine, by the way, just an infection), and they put us in a semi-private ER room with just a curtain separating us from the other patient, who had a MRSA-infected bedsore on his butt. I know this because his wife couldn't keep from talking about the infection on his butt and how they were going to come in and lance it. Which they did. Now, I didn't see a thing, but just them talking through the procedure -- in detail -- and the fact that I had barely eaten all day, did not set well with me. The only thing that kept me from passing out cold was the fact that I was already sitting down and could bend over and put my head between my knees. The whole movie was very detailed, especially the 3D imaging! Even the slow-mo action scenes put the Matrix movies to shame!
The whole movie is about Judge Dredd and how he and his new rookie infiltrate a massive building housing a powerful drug lord bent on taking over the city. However, the building has a lockdown system that traps Dredd and his partner inside the building. Now they must find a way to stop the drug lord and survive her hundreds of henchmen.
The movie is pretty much just an action thriller full of intense, and I do mean INTENSE, gore. People being thrown off of balconies, shot in the faces, hands blowing up, etc. Pure, unadulterated, gore. AND I LIKE IT!!!!!! :iconevulplz:

I was working in the marketing office for the UCCS Bookstore when *Xenodia told me all about DeviantART. She told me how she was posting her photographs and artwork on there and suggested I join. At first I thought, "What the hell... it's just another website like myspace." Yes, I had a myspace back then. I also had a facebook when they only allowed college and high school students to use it. Crazy.
I posted some painting stuff I was experimenting with, mostly to shut up the art instructor at UCCS who said art wasn't for me. I posted some photos I took for marketing and for leisure. I really didn't think much about it at the time. Then I started posting some of my pumpkin carvings and costumes. I really didn't think dA would be a place to enjoy it but I was quickly proven wrong.

What I mean is Shining Armor is introduced as Twilight's brother. And his alicorn (wings and horn) bride Princess Cadence is introduced and incorporated into the narrative as well.
Does what is essentially a ret-con work? I went with it. I found it a bit awkward these character relationships never came up but there have been bits of foreshadowing with the royal guards knowing Twilight that you can accept that her brother is the captain of the guards and they actually slightly reuse a brief bit from the pilot to work it in as well. Alas, the BBC is now "reporting" on a "study" that suggests that all large dinosaurs actually had to live in water. Except there isn't a real study. It's not in a paleo journal, and the non-scientist who wrote it didn't present any actual evidence for the idea. But that didn't stop BBC Radio 4 from doing an interview with him, which was then picked up and carried by several print news sources.
It gets worse; the BBC, referring to skepticism expressed for this clown's pseudo-published dataless idea was to invoke Galileo - the scientist who was opposed by non-scientists because his findings were considered heretical.
