Waylon Smithers stopped to his tracks, causing his boss to continue walking and talking on his own. Realizing this, a couple of seconds later, Mr. Burns turned to see him with an annoyed expression. The young man had turned a deep shade of red and remained transfixed to whatever there was in the shop's front window.
Monty Burns coughed in annoyance and let out a "Smithers" of expectation. The younger man was brought back to reality and hurried to his boss' side. The older man eyed the younger man who fixed his ties and smiled sheepishly. Mr. Burns let out a sigh and hurried towards the Mayor's office.
It was later that evening that Mr. Burns d

"No! I don't have to if I don't want to.."
"Say it "
Isabella crossed her arms. "You can't make me!"
"Come on, just admit it already!" Gretchen huffed.
"Never!" Isabella turned up her nose and looked away.
Gretchen sighed. Isabella was stubborn, especially when it came to admitting things. Especially when it came to love.
The past couple of weeks, Gretchen had watched as Isabella and Ferb began to talk more to each other, and that they do actually kind of flirt. She had found out that now Isabella immediately went to Ferb's side instead of Phineas's when looking over their amazing blueprints, and that she was slowly losing interest in the redhead she was once crazy over.
"Izzy, you know it, I know it, so why can't you say it?" Gretchen asked lightly, sitting by her best friend. They were both sitting on Isabella's flower-printed bed, the rosy afternoon sky setting an almost lazy mood.
Isabella looked at her for a second, then glanced up at a picture of her, Phi

After seeing her daughter collapsing, Marge started running to her, quickly followed by Bart and Homer. The rest of the crowd tried to follow, but Bart blocked them by spreading his hands in front of the breakwater.
"Sorry, no more entrances!" he said. "Besides, you couldn't even all fit in there."
"The kid's got a good point", Chief Wiggum said.
Bart turned around and ran at his family at the end of the breakwater. Marge was kneeling and holding Lisa's body on her lap. She gently stroke her green hair.
"Please, honey, wake up", she said quietly, with no response.
Homer's eyes were watering.
"Oh, my little girl", Homer said quietly. "You were really brave." He knelt besides Lisa.
Bart also knelt besides her sister. "You saved us all, Lis", he said. "That was so cool."
For a moment all the Simpsons just looked at Lisa's body.
"Is she still... you know... alive?" Bart asked quietly.
Marge brought her hand onto Lisa's chest. "
Diary of an AtheistDiary of an AtheistDiary of an Atheist6 years ago in Biography & Memoir More Like This
My transformation from Christian to atheist wasn't some humongous, life-shattering experience like others say theirs was. I didn't crawl on my knees and pray to God every night like a good little Christian. Heck, our family rarely went to church. To say that my choice to be an atheist was agonizing or even painful would be a lie. Sure, I struggled at times, but making the actual choice was relatively easy.
My family is half-Christian, half-atheist, so you could say I got to see both sides and make the right decision without any biased information. My mother is very non-religious while my father is the opposite (how they managed to get married and live together for seven years, I'll never know). I vaguely remember my father, rather suddenly, deciding to start going to church when I was eight or nine. Maybe he thought our faith needed a little tune-up. I was young, and my father had already filled our heads with stories of God and faith. It se

Lisa opened the front door slowly, hoping to not draw her mother's attention. She peaked her head in and didn't see her. If she was lucky her mother wouldn't realize what time it was, and that she was home from school. A wind blew in through a window pulling the door shut with an audible thunk.
"Lisa? That you?"
She was in the kitchen; of course. Probably slaving away on some meal that her fat slob of a father wouldn't appreciate. Neither would her brother. Lisa shook her head, she didn't want to think about Bart right now.
"Yeah mom, it's me. Just going to study."
"Where is your brother?" Lisa had already started up the stairs, but paused to answer.
"He said he was going to hang with some friends." Footsteps exited the kitchen and headed towards her. Lisa cursed

I stare at her face, wet jade eyes staring right through me. I take this moment to stare at the determination glowing through them, believing without a single doubt that what she just said will help me after all I've, no we've been through. The thunder breaks my thoughts.
I feel her tender hands grab my shoulders as she slowly pulls me into a hug, quietly whispering to me, "It's going to be alright, everything is going to be alright."
I don't notice that I stopped holding back the tears as she pulls me closer to her. She seems to know that she's who I need at this moment. That she's the only one who knows I can only move on with from the deaths of our friends, to have a new start. I grab her back with my muddy hands to keep her, to try to protect her from the danger we have both been exposed to.
I feel the rain slowly stop, the heavens seem to want me to let go of the past, to let go of all the lies and horror that happened. I look up and stare at the infamous monume

Lisa was happy that her daughter Zia looked up to her, and was just as intelligent as she was at her age. She was worried that she would become a total party girl, and become hooked to the web. Christmas was over, it was passed midnight, and she walked to her car with her husband. They waved to her parents and brother; Bart decided to stay the night. The three of them drove off and headed for home, Lisa driving, Milhouse in the seat next to her, and Zia in the back.
Halfway there, the car began to have trouble. Lisa turned to see Milhouse asleep, his head leaning on the window. She looked back at Zia; she had fallen asleep on the back seats. Lisa pulled the car to the side of the road and got out of the car. She opened her hood and tried to find the problem with the car.
Heroes AND Villains Nobler Than Bart SimpsonBart Simpson is one of the worst fictional characters ever created in the history of mankind. He has no morals or ethical constraints whatsoever. Loyalty is a foreign concept to Bart because he is incapable of showing any towards any person or cause. Bart causes mayhem and destruction just for the sake of causing mayhem and destruction, and he does so without hesitation, restraint, mercy or guilt. Sure, you may be able to name a few nice things Bart Simpson has done, but those nice things are superficial, and when you combine them with all the terrible, rotten, evil things he has done, trying to find the nice things is like trying to find a sparkling necklace in a lake of pure oil 100 feet deep with the surface area as big as the state of Texas. And worst of all-Bart Simpson is a character that we're supposed to like. Hi. You can call me Lisa Simpson. Or Clobber Girl. That's my superhero name. I've done many things in my life: travelled in many different countries, performed magic tricks, been close to being killed, written cartoons, but they're nothing, nothing compared to the life of a superhero with awesome super strength that allows me to pick up and toss cars like toys, lift houses, break through walls like they were wet cardboard, and beat the hell out of evil bank robbers twice of my size.
And believe me, being a superhero you get a lot of attention, even though as myself, I'm still the abonded little girl with a straight line of A pluses from almost every subject. The best thing about this thing is that I'm not doing this alone. I also have my whole family in it: my brother Bart (Stretch Dude), my baby sister Maggie (Bouncing Battle Baby), my dad (The Pie Man), and my mom (The Entangler) are doing this as well. A snow storm woke her up. It was the third time this week Edna had woken up at the middle of the night because of the sound of the sound of the cold winds.
How she hated winters now.
She remembered how Skinner used to take her ice-skating on winters back when they were together and that made her hate them even more.
She looked at her husband sleeping next to her. He was mumbling her name, again… third time that week. Every time she woke up in the middle of the night she heard him calling Maude in his sleep. She sighed as she went back to sleep, being only able to stay awake the rest of the night.
The following morning he brought her breakfast to bed. It was Saturday, and Rodd and Todd were out already playing in the snow.
“Good morning, love” he happily greeted her as he kissed her forehead and handed her breakfast.
“Good morning Ned…”

It had been a few weeks from my episode though it feels like it was only hours ago. I can still hear their taunting voices repeating like a broken record in my head. I've spent these couple of weeks pretending to be sick. I've been eating food I know will make me throw up, overheating myself, everything I can think of to keep myself from having to go back there. My mother arranged with Brenan's dad for him to come over after school and bring me my homework, and in the morning swing by to pick up the things I completed. My mother said that "even though you're sick, you have to do your school work instead of just lazing around doing nothing." It burned my skin a bit that she was making me do the work even though I was only pretending. I couldn't help but think that her reputation was more important than me, which was probably true. It's about 3:35pm and Bren will be here any minute with today's wonderful assignments for me to complete by tonight. There was a, 'knock-knock-knock' on

And I'll be here whenever you call
I'll find you whenever you're lost
I'll buy your freedom whatever the cost
You won't be alone when it's time to choose

And I'll see through your dark stains
If you're blind I'll make you see
I'll be whatever you want me to be
I'll stop time so you don't have to go
You won't be alone during the show
I'll help you get over your stage fright

This Place is Death
I am tired of trying to run away from my fate, and sick of being broken down countless times again, only to be sown back together again.
I lay scattered across the decaying floorboards, impaired and torn, waiting patiently as my wounds have left me motionless. My heavy rising chest remains unceasing, as time seems to stand still in this everlasting silence. I grip my trembling arm tightly, hoping to stop the opal liquid blood from oozing out of rigid bite marks engraved on my weak limb, in the aspiration of my treatment not being as long and drawn out as I feared.
With one eye open, I
