Sweet.Casually flipping through the channels on TV, the doorbell ringing was a welcome break for Christian.
"Door's open," he called out, expecting whoever it was to make their way in. The door swung open, but a hand caught it in time, before the handle hit against the wall. He knew that there was only one person out there capable of more-or-less wrestling with his door.
"Al," he smiled, turning his attention towards the door, and the boy standing there, with an inscrutable expression on his face.
"I didn't slam the door," his reply was prompt.
Christian laughed. "I didn't say you did, love."
Alastair rolled his eyes mockingly, at the "endearing" nickname. He would often pretend to be bothered by it, but in reality, he was quite fond of it...of course, as long as no one else was there.
"You really should do something about that door, Chris." he muttered, as he took a seat beside said person. "One day, the handle's gonna bust a hole in the wall."
"You've just gotta be gentler with it,"

Stuck in your next class, you were far too distracted to hear what the teacher had really been talking about. But, considering it was the first day, and you'd been fed the drivel of class syllabuses and responsibilities twice already, you figured that giving it a miss the third time round wouldn't affect you too bad. You scoured your copy of the 'Student Guide', which you'd carelessly shoved into, and now had retrieved from the recesses of your backpack. Scanning every page carefully, you knew when you'd reached the information of the person you were most curious about.
Alfred F. Jones. Same grade. In the school's baseball team. Hobbies include baseball, football, video games and eating.
why did it all make so much of sense? You couldn't help but study his picture carefully. Mattie and he really did look extremely similar, except for the fact that his hair was shorter, and s

"Do you want the girl, or not?" Gilbert replied, almost instantaneously.

Gilbert laughed. "Oh, don'tcha worry, West! Feliciano and I spent ages on this list! It's foolproof!" Ludwig bit back his comment about how this list was made by people whom he could consider 'fools' just in time.
Involuntarily clearing his throat, he looked at the list that he was holding. His brother's messy handwriting was scrawled all over a page, and there seemed to be...doodles made by Feliciano all around the edge of the paper.

For once, Ludwig didn't look like he was blushing so hard that he would just burst, or something like that, as he kissed his bride. Clapping and various cheers filled the garden, and you joined in a well, cheering for your friend, who seemed the happiest she'd ever looked.
"It's nice seeing people happy, no?"
You turned around to find Antonio standing there, merrily whistling a tune, as he looked straight ahead.
"W-Wh what're you..."You didn't even get to finish your question.
"Oh, Ludwig and I have some common friends." He grinned, as he leant forward, to try and assess your expression. However, from the corner of his eye, he caught sight of two people he didn't want to see right now...
...or maybe they'd be the perfect excuse.
You made a strange squeaking sound, as you felt Antonio wrap his fingers around your wrist, and felt yourself almost being dragged through the crowds. Before you could coherently protest, or anything of that sort, you f

"MATTHEW!" You wouldn't have realised how loud you'd been, until his name actually came out of your mouth. Spotting one of your oldest friends, you couldn't help but contain your excitement as you dumped your suitcases and bounded up to him, tackling him in something between an ambush and a hug to the floor. He landed on the floor, with a resounding 'thud' but your fall was cushioned by him.
"Hey, Mattie." You grinned, beaming at him. You really were truly happy to see him. Even though you two hadn't met for almost over ten years or so, frequent phone calls earlier on, emails later and the wonders of Facebook had helped you keep in contact with your best friend from kindergarten.

As much as you'd enjoyed your new school, and spending time with an old-yet-new friend, you couldn't wait for the weekend! Nothing interested Captain Antonio Fernandez Carriedo any longer. His fleets had suffered much damage against that...he even detested to say the word, English pirate, and it seemed to be just one mission after another.
He had missed home. The warm sun, the gentle breeze, the tomato fields. Those idyllic times before he had joined his nation's Navy. His wanderlust had been more than quenched, and even though he was going home, he wasn't all too happy. He knew that in a few days, he would have to be back on the waters again.
This meaningless...drivel was insane. There seemed to be nothing to look forward to, nothing-
Followed by many crashing noises, and other strange cries and noises, it dawned on Antonio that his ship was under siege.
And the fact that his crew was extremely unprepared was like a blow right in the solar plexus for him. They carried no riches; the crew consisted mostly of lackeys who wou

All three looked up, their faces varying shades of crimson, and you knew just what they were watching.
"You guys were watching PORN ON MY LAPTOP?"
