The Genetic Park 5 part 2
I stood there, watching Leo, a "friend" of mine, who just a few minutes ago tried to rape me. He was now lying on the ground as all his body was cramping and twitching. All thanks to the injection which was meant to be for me.
Tears started building inside, tears of anger, that moron has been a jerk all this time, assaulted Eva and attacked me, and to top it all, he almost forced me to have sex with him. I was already pissed at what how my stay in this park was getting its turn for worst, ever since I saw Eva and Scott kissing at the docks. I woke up to find blood trickling from my groin and a constant pain in my abdomen, which came and went from time to time. My only hope to improve my day was to get the additional serum. But I had to use it on Leo, after allowing both Scott and Eva to flee from there. Now I had lost my chance and probably I wasn't getting her back. I so wanted to head there and beat the pulp out of him.
"What have you done to me?!" yelled Le

Glancing back and seeing nobody, Shari left the residence hall. Compared to the air in the baths, the outdoor air was refreshing. For extra relief, he dunked his head into the large central fountain that laid between the four buildings. The cold shock only half-rejuvenated his mind, doing little to push out the drunkenness, but it was enough to clear away the tears.
The sun was down, and the stars hung in the sky, but the night was still far too young to see the sun's shadow, the black moon that moved always opposite. Reaffixing his glasses and the cloak, Shari sat on the fountain wall, still fuming. He was perfectly aware he was drunk, but despite this state he could not shake the final conclusion that he had come to: he absolutely had to get out of here and finish what the brigands had started a long time ago. Taking any more time waiting around would have only led to more risk at being discovered, more punishments and more injustice, while if he took off and failed, he would merely

At one of the weight benches, a white-furred muscular rabbit named Kyriell is finishing up a set. The bar is loaded with heavy weight plates with about 850 pounds of weight in total on the bar. The rabbit struggles to get up his last rep. "Man ..I should not have pushed myself this hard this early", the rabbit said as sweat poured down his face and off his long ears. The rabbit gasped as two paws belonging to a very big and muscular grey-furred wolf grabbed onto the bar and hoisted it up and back onto the bench rack with a loud CLANG!
The rabbit sat up and looked up at the muscular wolf. The wolf wore a blue tank top and red basketball shorts that hugged his extremely muscular physique very well. The

I wanted to die of embarrassment. I was in my bedroom, having become what I was taught to avoid, not becoming the target of my parents despise. After having lied that it wasn't anything serious and having them barge into my room only to find the surprise, even more, everyone would sure give me hell for having such a strong position against taurs in school 'I'm screwed' I thought as I stared at them for what seemed like minutes which was actually mere seconds as my Mom's face was that of horror, which translated to a scream while dad's became that of anger.
"Ma-Marcus?" asked my mom, wanting me to shake my head but instead I nodded. Seemed she went light headed as she nearly fainted. Meanwhile, my dad simply looked away; I knew he was mad
"M-Mom," I tried to say reaching for her or my dad but she simply backed as I showed her my hand. My hand covered in black fur with a bit stubbier fingers and claws erected at their tips. Even I was surprised by the sight as I

"I'm not telling you nothing! It's called loyalty."
"Okay ..you know, this could have gone much better for you."
The wolf looked at the detective in a bit of confusion as he walked towards the door and opened it. As the detective did so, Furvus Wolf entered ..and he was not happy.
Furvus growled at the wolf and flipped over the desk that was in front of him. Furvus then grabbed the wolf by the shirt front and lifted him off of the chair that he was seated in and slammed him against a wall, the wolf's paws dangling in the air. Furvus' huge biceps were stretching out the fabric of his black police shirt to the max nearly tearing the fabric in the process.

"All the students have been taking Miss Hawthorne's class. It's sheer lucky I'm not among the infected ones," Steven muttered, reiterating what he just told Keith. This was growing up to be a troublesome matter with things as they were. It was more than likely that she would get fired whilst the rest of the taurs might get suspended from the school or expelled just for the sake of the students.
Their voices faded into silence as they left the room. I excused myself and headed over to the teacher's classroom, seeing if I could warn her. It was ten minutes past after the workshops, it was no surprise that the classrooms were empty and the hallways were being vacated. From what my nose could tell me, the teacher was long gone.
Not finding Miss Hawthorne proved to be a small disappointment, yet there was nothing I could do against it. I stayed at the school after class more than I should have and it was only a matter of time before my parents would call asking where I was. "No poin

"That was close," I muttered exiting the taur-only bathroom. It was for a single person's use, installed about four years ago. It was nice and spacey, and it has to be, because I practically wrestled to get the shorts off my extended rear so I wouldn't have an accident. I almost tripped with the toilet, and I did fell against the wall a couple of times. But luckily the situation was managed and I exited the bathroom, just in time to grab some lunch. Passing my backpack over my shoulder I headed to the cafeteria, still getting used to the glances I earned from companions that knew of my parents dealings.
I didn't want to try and deal with people I knew. It was just to add insult to injury, as there were a few that would act sympathetic towards me. One of them was my friend Trish and probably my friend Paul, who, despite her constant taur state gets to stay in contact with her and other infected. I

“It’s you!” I said in a moment of boldness, pointing at Steve like a detective would cast an accusation on the perpetrator.
There was a long silence as everyone stared at me with unsettled eyes. Surprised by the nature of my accusation, none of them knew what to argue or how to respond to that. I heard a couple of whispers. If I was gonna be preventing things from escalating, I would stick to my hypothesis.
Everyone looked at me in expectation or shock. Lavender, Paul and Josh watched at me with astonished surprise, while at the same time waiting for my explanation. Some of them looked rather impatient as well, the principal of the school, the coach and some of the other competitors. Miss Hawthorne seemed to be looking at me with much interest and curiosity.
A loud chuckle came from Steve. “Now you’re just drawing straws, Marcus. Making wild illogical accusations like that?” He said before laughing and inciting the crowd to do so as well. Few

'I am terribly sorry, madam!'
'It's all right.'
Her tone was scornful, but with better things to worry about, Edgar did not take it to heart. He uncovered his eyes. She was feeding the child like a mare, not a woman, so he felt no need for embarrassment. He stooped down a little, trying to determine the gender of the young one. As with foals, it was easy enough to tell.
'What a delightful little boy,' he said.
The mother smiled. 'Thank you.'
'Do you mind if I sit down here for a few minutes?'
'I am very tired.'
The centaur made no reply. She stood with arms folded and her back legs slightly apart, gazing out into the forest. Edgar was disappointed. The significance of the situation had not escaped him, and he hoped she would talk to him.
The first thing to do was find somewhere to

Suddenly the two coyotes heard what sounded like a powerful punch connecting and a third male coyote came flying out from the shadows, sliding on the ground in front of the two other coyotes. Soon after this, a metal bar came flying out of the shadows and slid next to the downed coyote. The metal bar was once straight, but now was bent and twisted into a V shape.

I was just finishing my stretching exercises, managing to learn them was a bit of a chore but after a couple of trips and falls I got the hang of it. Anyway, as I arrived to the group, Miss Hawthorne smiled looking at us. "Well are we all ready to start our trek?"
"Sure," Josh said.
"Yeah, let's get started with this," Paul said.
"Ok, miss," Trish answered.
"I am," was my usual response.
"Very well then, we'll start going down our respective paths. But first, I got a couple of announcements to make," she informed us. "One is that I was informed by the school's secretary that coach Jameson is coming back to school tomorrow and starting this Wednesday "
I couldn't help to feel a bit bad for that and to me it was understandable. My view of the wolf taur teacher had shifted drastically ever since I got infected by the taur virus. Back then, a bit more than a wee

Kylie of Culloch - Part 1The first time I saw her, she was in the back corner of a dark and dingy inn, sitting by herself behind a small round wooden table. The place stank, and I wondered what a girl like her was doing in a place like this. I would have thought her nobility but for the ragged green tunic she wore; her face was gentle and round, and those green eyes were rare among commoners.
I claimed my room from the innkeeper for five pence and then walked over toward her, curious why a pretty little girl should be sitting, drinking alone, in a room full of brutes.
I got halfway across the room before realizing what I had somehow been blind to: She wasn't human!
The body of a horse was perched under her, light bay colors with dark brown socks, and it had

Chapter 1: How Could You Be So Wrong, Twilight?
Books and scrolls littered the floor of Ponyville’s library, leaving only a small path for Twilight to walk through. At the epicenter of the organized chaos was the unicorn herself, glancing between a large, old book and a partially finished chalk drawing on the ground. Occasionally she moved to a large stack of books detailing old languages and flipped through them, mumbling to herself as she cross-referenced symbols and details to a piece of parchment. After several more walks between her references and the near crumbling book she was so focused on, she grinned and took a piece of chalk with her magic.
“Now... I need to draw these runes just right...” Twilight said to herself, tracing an intricate pattern into the floor of the library. Beads of sweat were starting to form on her brow, from the concentration she was putting into the small piece of chalk scraping along the floor. Just a little more... she thought,

"Scar, please let me explain." said Nala. "I don't want any excuses," said Scar. "You have failed for the last time, because of this, you are hereby exiled from the Pride Lands." "But, Scar!" shouted Nala. "No, buts," said Scar. "You have 5 minutes to leave Pride Rock, if you ever return, you will be sentenced to death. Now get out of here." Nala left Pride Rock, she walked until she came to a grassland 50 miles from Pride Rock. She layed down and started to cry, she started to take a nap. She napped for 20 minutes. Suddenly, Nala heard a loud boom, she woke up and felt the ground shaking. A loud boom was coming every second, and thNala's Rampage2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

The loud day-end buzz of the school bell was a pain to my ears, but as any student I did get to enjoy the sound of afterschool freedom. The loud tune music of the news channel rang into my ears and woke me up in an instant. I was so distracted I failed to notice the subtle contradictions with what I've grown used to, such as using the TV suddenly turning on while I heard no one around or the fact that it was actually the news channels instead of the usual Warner Brothers or Fox.
My first thought was to reach for the remote to try to mute the TV as there was some news about the latest outbreak of the famous 'taur virus.' I only managed to make out those two words. The mention of the disease brought back a couple of flashes to my mind. I could remember seeing the nurse telling to go home, my parents giving a surprised yet scared look on their faces seeing a human looking cat, much like cat taurs tended to look like. Thank goodness everything was just a dream, or so I thought.
My nose twitched as I sniffed the air noticing an odd smell, something I never

The whole planet trembled the moment it happened, eight years ago. I was just nine when it happened but it was enough to deeply scare me. A meteor struck Africa and there was nothing modern science could do about it, people though it was the end of the line for earth. Yet at the moment of impact only a crater and mild quakes were the end results. For a second the earth sighed as the so called "doomsday" turned out to be a pebble the size of a truck crashing in the middle of the western shorelines of Africa.
The world was relived and soon after things returned back to normal well sort of. There was a huge ongoing investigation of the crater as well of the meteor's remains, but there was no way it would affect us Or so we thought.
It made itself present months later around the continent an odd disease started appearing. It wasn't life-threatening so far, merely some fever, raspy voice, stomachache among other symptoms. The CDC confirmed there was a link bet
