He watched her put her hand on his best friend's shoulder, smile and wave one last goodbye.
When she turned around, she shook her head with a slight smile on her lips, letting it grow bigger as her face turned up towards him.
"Finally got rid of him." He stared at her eyelashes. Tiny bits of snow was melting on them. It was in her hair too, and her cheeks were flushed. Feeling some kind of deja vu, he nodded, and she hooked her arm to his. Her words suggested she'd somehow known what he was thinking - as usual.
"It's a strange thing, snow. I mean, I know all the science of it of course, but I still haven't found one single book that explains why it looks so tasty." The childrens screams were heard from all the way on the other side of the house. He looked up, took a deep breath and smiled at her.
"Well, Hermione, you've found your man." She swatted his arm playfully, falling into old habits against her better judgement. "I'm serious!" She laughed, letting go of his arm and putting he
Just Really Good Friends Ch. 4Hermione leaned up against the door and closed her eyes. She took a deep breath and sighed as she thought about the way Harry's arms felt holding her. Wrapping around her and encasing her in the smell of his hair and a faint hint of spearmint toothpaste. She knew that she needed to change Teddy and she knew she should be doing other things, but she couldn't help, but let her bright and acuminous mind wander a little. It wandered back to the Forest of Dean where she offered to grow old with him. It wandered to the tent where they danced their sorrow away. It wandered to the past 10 years where she threw her arms around him, holding onto him in the hope that he wouldn't go away and leave her. It wandered to when she was petrified by the basilisk and the only feeling she felt was Harry's hand holding hers. It wandered to her first year when she welcomed her as a friend and saved her from the troll. Just Really Good Friends CH. 1"I've managed to fix up the house a little." Harry wrote on a piece of parchment. "No more house elf heads or screaming portraits or vials of blood. It actually starts to look like a home. A big home. A rather empty home." He paused for a moment and looked at Teddy in his crib. He was finally managing to fall asleep. Harry smiled softly as the vibrant blue of his hair started to dim into a soft pink color. "If you and Ron or anyone else at the burrow would ever want to visit, I'm sure that Teddy would be happy to see someone other than me for a while." Harry sighed and adjusted his glasses for a moment. He glanced from his spot in the drawing room out the door. This house was all his, given to him by his godfather. His family home. Ever since the war ended last year, he's been working on making the house more hospitable. Ginny and he had dated for a while, but she soon realized that outside of the war and Voldemort and horcru

They'd talked about nearly everything under the moon; however they'd purposely steered clear of one topic.
Both having had their hearts badly broken only just a year ago, there was simply no need to bring it up. Though they rarely agreed on anything, they'd agreed long ago there was no sense in rehashing old feelings and heartache. So their lives went on together, best friends from childhood. Nothing less, nothing more, neither one of them wanting to ruin that.
And here they were tonight carrying on as always.
"How can you say the movie wasn't any good? Were you even paying attention?" she asked suspiciously.
"Of course I was."
"With your eyes open?"
"Well now you're just getting picky."
She rolled her eyes and smiled at him. "Y'know, one of these days you're gonna learn to trust my judgment."
He smiled in return and shr

GadgetCon ’13 was a convention in which tech designers would showcase their original devices and hope that they would catch on with the public, and become the next big popular item. Dr Botzik was one such individual, but with rather outlandish ideas – he believed that it would be possible to control the minds of others using technological devices that would connect ‘wirelessly’ with human brainwaves, and then program them any way he wanted…he could, in theory, turn people into robots, whom would be programmed to obey any command. Of course, no one took him seriously, so he took his device, which he dubbed the Robo-U to GadgetCon to drum up some real public interest.
Botzik knew he needed a volunteer, someone whom would prove to the world that his device worked. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Justine Ezarik, better known as iJustine through her popular online technology review videos, whom was at the convention covering the hottest devices for he
Just Really Good Friends Ch. 7Harry hated leaving, but if he was going to be with Hermione and stay friends with Ron, he needed to be careful. He needed to talk to Ron like they used to. When they were friends and they weren't worried about all of the other things going on. Auror training. Girls. Graduating. This was one of the only times Harry missed the time before Voldemort was dead. It had been a year now since Voldemort was defeated and the first while Ron and Harry were sharing a room, considering Harry was with Ginny and they were all staying at the Burrow. After Ginny broke up with him he moved out and he and Ron sort of drifted apart. He was always with his family or Hermione and he was too hurt to be near anything that reminded him of Ginny. Now, though, he didn't care about Ginny. As soon as he felt Hermione's lips on his, all he could think about was the girl that had stuck with him when he needed it. She didn't give up on him even when he had given up on himself. Why did it take so long? As Harry arrivJust Really Good Friends Ch. 74 years ago in Romance More Like This

Breanna walked through twilight's growing gloom within a current of students returning to the Hadley School's Summers Hall. They all shuffled sleepily along in their anime styled school uniforms, though Breanna stood out in her own Yuuki Cross styled clothes. Her mannerisms were nearly identical to those with whom she walked. She stepped silently, her face frozen in a slightly dazed look as if she were pondering the meaning of some far off star. She was lost in thought in all she had learned during the day and possessed by the urgent need to communicate that information to her pairing, Norihko Yamashita.
How different she was when she first came to the Hadley School months ago. When she first visited with her mother she was as rebellious as any older teen. Now her personality was completely submerged under her vampire-induced thrall.
Breanna's focus was disturbed when a familiar voice called her name. It had the impact of a shaft of light cutting through her

I can often remember
How that click of the guitars used to make me smile,
And I knew if I had a chance,
I could write poetry for the dreamers romance,
Or tear filled poetry for the last chancers,
But the reality made me shiver, with every clip
I'd hear and see, because the man had left long before,
I was even here.
I often think of the times I cried,
When I think of the pointlessness of the deed and crime,
When I thought of music long lost to that darkest night,
But his voice touched me deep within,
And the peaceful voice stepped well into the night
Now for thirty years we're on our own,
With no one here to sing our cause,
We walk alone into the night, while the fire
Plays an unholy song for the sinners,
And we just protest but no words leave our lips,
So come now friend, lets be quick, we've been promised,
The worlds spinning on its own, but we're lighting
Sacrifical fires into the night,
And we need a peaceful voice to lead us, come on back to the ligh
Just Really Good Friends Ch. 2Hermione stood in her room for a moment. She remembered the room vividly. The summers she had spent with the order in this house. It had been touched up a little, but it was still the same room. A bed on one side, a bookshelf at the foot and a small lamp for when she had spent up many nights reading until Ginny had told her to stop and go to bed because the light was keeping her up. On the other side was Ginny's bed. A broom still leaning against the wall at the foot of the bed and a faded and ripped up picture of the 1995 Holyhead Harpies team picture, still cheering and holding up the 1994 League Cup, hoping for another good year. As Hermione took a step closer and saw that the bed, the broom, the wall; They all remained untouched, a layer of dust, covering it. It broke her heart a little to see that. Not because of her relationship with Ginny, but because of Harry's. Harry had strong feelings for her. I say it becomes life in a way
Don't tell me I can change
You can't tell me I'm strange
It's a state of mind, you said
But I sometimes wish I was dead
When no one is there by your side
there is no one in whom to confide
You can't tell me I'm the odd one out
That this is what life is all about
You know what I've been through
You know when the debt is due
Is there a man out there
In whom I could actually care?
Or do I live my life alone
And make my heart a stone.

"What the hell is this?"
The Beatles looked at the wardrobe closet, surprised at their "outfits" were supposed to wear for this particular photo shoot. Paul's eyes widened, while George lifted an eyebrow. John snorted, his rebellious attitude coming out, while Ringo just well, was being Ringo.
"That's it, Brian has finally lost it."
"What is he smoking?"
"I am NOT doing this"
"So that's where all the pot went "
While the Beatles continued to stare at the wardrobe, Brian walked in the room, frowning as he noticed they didn't have their costumes on.
"Boys, hurry up! The photographer is gonna be here any minute, and you need to be ready!" Brain said.
"Eppie, there is no way I am going out like this!"
"It's not that bad, I promise boys. Come on John, put on this costume and go get changed."
"Like hell I will!"

Little Whinging, Surrey
On a certain summer day in Little Whinging, Surrey, a certain boy was the subject of a struggle. On one side of the struggle was a certain trio of redheads, and on the other side was a certain fat slab of a man who called himself the certain boy's uncle (at least for a short time longer).
Harry Potter's life had never been particularly normal. He'd grown up the subject of nothing but scorn from pretty much every human he'd come into contact with, and on his eleventh birthday he'd been informed that he was a wizard. Following one of the strangest educational years of his very short existence, he'd gone back to the mundane world of Little Whinging, where he was once again treated with scorn, at least until an incident involving floating pudding, a small elfin creature, and a woman who had very recently developed ornithophobia. Following this, he was treated with downright contempt.
Which brought him to his present struggle. Ha
Just Really Good Friends Ch. 5Harry froze under the heavy gaze of Molly Weasley, his mother when he didn't have one. She had a pleasant smile on her face, but there was something in her eyes that wanted answers. It was a look that Ron and Harry got often when they did something they probably shouldn't have. "Well, you see...uh..." Harry stammered, trying to think of a reasonable lie. He wasn't sure why he said it was him. He glanced at Hermione and immediately realized why. Molly never got upset when Harry did something wrong. She'd yell at anyone else, but never Harry. He studied at his feet for a moment before a cry erupted from his right. Everyone looked over and saw Teddy crying, his hair shifting from red to orange to yellow and back to red. "I should probab--" Harry started to stand, but looked at Molly and stopped. Her gaze was still heavy like she couldn't hear the baby at all and the tension that resulted was palpable to such a degree that Teddy could feel it, resulting in him quieting himself, his hair beJust Really Good Friends Ch. 54 years ago in Romance More Like This

"Ron, no--please--come back, come back!"
She was impeded by her own Shield Charm; by the time she had removed it he had already stormed into the night. Harry stood quite still and silent, listening to her sobbing and calling Ron's name amongst the trees.
After a few minutes she returned, her sopping hair plastered to her face.
"He's g-g-gone! Disapparated!"
She threw herself into a chair, curled up, and started to cry.
Harry stood there in the middle of the tent, listening. The sound of the rain on the ceiling. The sound of his breathing as it slowed down from the excited state he was in. The blood rushing through his ears as his rage began to subside. The sound of Hermione sobbing in an armchair next to him. Once again, Ron had made her cry and once again he left, leaving Harry to be the shoulder to cry on. Like, Harry doesn't have enough problems. Harry stared out the entrance of the tent as the wind blew, shaking the tent and the trees oustide. The

The night in Aman is deathly still as I am shocked from my sleep by a horrible sensation- a feeling of loss and grief so acute it manifests as a searing physical pain in the core of my body. I am used to waking alone, for I have done so for centuries, but in my strange agony I panic and clutch the sheets as if I expect someone to be there.
As I writhe in anguished confusion in my bed, a memory comes unbidden to my mind.
Not long after we were left alone, I visited my half-sister in law, though I was unsure what words could or should pass between us. We sat at tea in long silence, when suddenly, her eyes went wide and she let out a wretched wail. The cup shattered in her hand and it began to bleed, but when I asked her why she cried, she whispered that she had felt her very heart tear itself from her breast.
Only days later, word came to us from the Valar that Fëanáro was dead.
