Here's the space battle I was hired to illustrate for the HTML5 multiplayer webgame Rawkets. It's still in development with a lot of features to be added, and some minor bugs to be ironed out, but as it stands, it's a lot of fun to drop in and blow up friends! The image was put on a banner and is being put on a cool little arcade machine too.
Like the wallpaper background version that you can find below, I've chosen to upload a set of wallpapers of this one too. The sizes are:
A collaboration piece between me and the almighty 3D/sci-fi artist *freelancah
Highly inspired by his piece Dreams of Clouds It started with his beautiful planet render. Then we tossed the PSD file around until we got satisfied with it. He did the good job so go and give him some love if you like it. Download for 1920x1080 resolution wallpaper.
Project name: "The broken HDD project - collaboration between Seagate, Hitachi and Toshiba" Since from the idea till the execution of the project a few HDD died.
Anyway hope you like it. Any critiques and comments are welcome. Thank you for your time and clicks.
This wallpaper was kind of inspired by Oblivion (at least the destroyed moon was). I really wonder how our world would be like with a destroyed moon. It took me quite a while to get the earth right. Several different resolution are available on my homepage gtgraphics.de: gtgraphics.de/image/occasus/
A different attempt this time for a close up planet. I kinda like the result. The picture is available as dual screen wallpaper for widescreen resolution (if you have another setup, just crop it to your liking).
Christmas is here! ...well ...I'm not really into it (since we don't even have snow this year - it's all rainy and that muddy sh*t is everywhere), but I finally have some free time...
Pack contains: Resolutions: Standard/MAC: 2048x1536 1920x1536 Widescreen: 2560x1024 2560x1440 (left and right version) 2560x1600 (left and right version) Dual screen: 5120x1920 If you have smaller resolution, you'll just fit it into your screen.
As part of a new series of personal paintings made for print I created this rather odd fight scene between an angel and a serpent, the idea was it,s being fought on the surface of the sun as you do, those large solar prominences that erupt on the suns surface take the form of these characters and duke it out, there is also some faint signs of ancient Greek architecture in the background, again pretty odd.
