Like a Disease (old)It never dies. Once it's gone, another mutation takes its place. They multiply. Wiping them out grows harder and harder. Focusing on one allows the rest to grow and spread. They choke out life and happiness. They take and take until there is nothing left, oblivious to their self-inflicted demise shortcoming. They corrupt, usurp and destroy as they are programmed to, without sentience or emotion. They adapt and change to fight back a cure. And it shares this same definition with the many coming plagues that will soon choke happiness and life, corrupt and destroy, take and take and take and take and take, nearsighted and malignant like a cancerous tumor.
And for what? They would gladly hand out cookie-cutter tidbits of 'treated' and secretive information that dances around the questions we would ask.
