Going along in the series I've started of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy characters, I've just drawn Marvin. I've never been happy with any of the incarnations of Marvin I've seen. The comic, TV miniseries, the upcomming movie, and any other version of Marvin I've seen have never completely satisfied what he was like in my head. I fiddled around with a few designs the other day, and I came up with this one being the most accurate. It's not perfect, but it looks enough like the version I've got in my head to make me happy. Drawn, scanned, vectors and colors in flash.
Finally found time to draw a little something.
Its been a while since I've drawn any monsters or heavy machinery, so I decided to satisfy both cravings with one of my favorite duel monsters from Yugioh GX. *clank clank* Grraarrr!
I love all the Ancient Gear Monsters actually(and their owner! ;9 ) They have such a great look to them. Lots of character. Tricky to draw, but fun.
This drawing is actually part of a plan for a painting I really want to do, but... well...
I'm even worse at finding time to color. 9_9*
This is a sketch for a Steampunk Dalek after seeing the suggestion posted to Promus-Kaa's variant on a Steapunk Cyberman that he drew after I posted mine. Funny how things circle aorund. I think his version is far scarier though.
This is probably the best homework I've ever had. You see, here I have the Legendary Doctor Octopus, or "Doc Oct" vs. the infamous RoboCop. This stemmed from a disscussion I had in Biology class with my classmates, along with our teacher Mr. Eggert. We we're talking about prosthesies and artifical limbs and such, along with reconstructive surgey. So, we got on the topic of Cyborgs, or having Total Robotic Limbs, all controlled mentally. So, of course, we came to think about probably the two best examplesof Cyborg Prosthesis users, Doc Ock and Robocop. So, Our teacher then said "man that would be a good fight huh?" so we all laugh, and then instantley, he turns to me and says, knowing I'm a bit of an artist, and says "You're going to draw that aren'tyou?" And I say, "Um, I don't know, maybe...." and he reotures, "Well, you have to, because I'm expecting it for a grade". So yeah, heres my Biology homework for this Week. Enjoy.
