Another bit of personal relaxation fluff. I decided I needed to paint more from life, so I painted a sheep skull I keep lying around, then decided it needed a little adornment. :meow:

Like my last submission, this was painted of an evening, in one go, because holing up in one's man-cave and chugging scrumpy cider whilst painting body parts is so much cooler than clubbing.

I just finished this piece today...it's done on bristol smooth paper with color pastels, pencils and some pen. I used a photo of Emmy Rossum I found online. Comments welcome...Thanks for looking.

A totem to offer protection from all harm, both seen and unseen...

The wild boar is untamed and un-tameable. It is fierce in battle, whether for food, territory, or to protect its young. This skull features unique patterning all over, with a strange symmetry that offers both strength and confidence.

This vintage boar skull was once a teaching specimen, and its now hand-painted with natural inks applied with a sharpened wooden stick. Each piece is unique with different meanings and symbols.

It has been expertly 'antiqued' to achieve the look of a well preserved historical artifact. All materials are new.

This skull is in nice condition with minimal wear. Artifacts are rarely found in perfect condition, and the wear to this one makes for an authentic look.

The total length is about 12 inches, width is 5.5 inches.
