This one is, unlike others, mounted on a openwork backing - i soldered the oval and made veins from tiny intertwined wires to make the whole thing look even creepier than the regular ones.
I've also added 14 black diamond blood clots in/on the veins. One black diamond is in the shoulder.

Solid sterling silver and 15 black diamonds
Size: 75 x 52mm (3" x 2.08")

Silver. I made this ring using lost-wax casting. As you can see from the title, it is based upon the Code of Hammurabi, an ancient Babylonian legal code ("eye for an eye") that was written in Akkadian using cuneiform circa 1772 BCE. The script on the front of the ring is copied directly from the code itself; they are not just random symbols. The band pattern, which continues around the entire band, is based on/inspired by a bust of Hammurabi, specifically his totally rockin' beard. This was my very first piece and very much my baby, and I'm pretty proud of it.

If you are interested in reading about exactly how I made it and seeing more pictures (and of course you are!), I wrote a blog entry about it.

Silver. Well...no one will ever accuse me of not taking enough pictures. So here are my giant asymmetrical sterling silver earrings that I made using lost-wax casting. Each earring is comprised of two different alchemy symbols held together by a jump ring, for a total of four symbols. I chose the alchemy symbols for silver spirit, wax, silver, and torrefaction of silver because I used wax and silver in the making of these earrings, and I like being self-referential. They are very big and very shiny, and I love them. And believe it or not (and here most people look at me skeptically), they are not at all heavy.

The ring, with its eight balls and the skull represents Hermes and his caduceus.

The Hermes's staff have two intertwined snakes that resemble the number eight, and this symbol represents the balance between the antagonistic forces. It also means the cosmic eternal movement, regeneration and infinity.

This porcelain doll has been hand painted and modified by me, she's OOAK and numbered.
These were originally 2 separate dolls that have been dismembered and resewed together (2 heads, 2 arms, 2 legs)

If you like my dolls and you want to adopt one or you simply want to check the other stuff I make, you can visit my facebook page: [link]
