I'm the red Twi'lek. This day was a BLAST. So many people came in costume to the Imperial Sand Dunes, one of the sets used in the Star Wars movies. Everyone was so talented, costumers and photographers alike <3 My character is an original one that I came up with, following the footsteps of Amber from Firelight cosplay. Sinya is a Lethan Twi'lek pirate turned smuggler. I am so excited to wear the updated version to AACC 2015~!!! (Everything was made by me aside from the boots. I made my own Lekku, but I am having them remade by a professional, a very talented mask maker at Fs Kris Fx)

I've done a "Return of the Jedi" Boba Fett costume, which is 501st qualified (BH-5247).

Since then I have created my own version of the Boba Fett costume. The whole idea is just that if I were to gallavant around the galaxy with the most notorious bounty hunter ever, this is my choice of outfit.

I have no idea what part is what or what it should.... I just thought it looked good. I don't have any knowledge about the Mandalorians or whatever, I don't even like most Mandalorian stuff.

IMO even Jango Fett was a Boba Fett tribute, nothing more (though I like the character).

Bucket was a 3 piece ABS vac vormed kit, Gauntlets were Fettpride's kit.
The rest was all made and manufactured by me, using PVc piping for plastic etc and a variety of textiles.

Enjoy!!

My new suit of Mandalorian Armor for the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club

Kaida Valentine was a commando for the Rebel Alliance before she integrated into Mandalorian society, and spent a few years as part of a crack commando team that to this day, the Alliance denies involvement with. One of the most notable operations was the infiltration of Storm Commando training areas on Sirpar. The team passed Storm Commando training with flying colors, placing her and her team among a very select few who received the best commando training the Empire and the Rebel Alliance had to offer. Following this operation, the team, greatly changed in character, possibly affected by the heavy indoctrination segments of Storm Commando training, gradually separated itself from the fledgling New Republic. They all remain close, though they've gone their separate ways. Kaida, along with two other members of her team, were drawn to Mandalorian culture, in part because a fourth member of the team was Mandalorian. The remaining three members of the team found their niche elsewhere in the galaxy.

This is a complete repaint of the 2007 Revenge of the Sith Galactic Marine. I did this before Hasbro released their repaint of the figure that looks very similar to this one. This figure received a complete repaint in shades of white and black with a nice dirty wash to bring out the details and add realism. All was done with Vallejo Artist Acrylics and Varnishes.

Assembly, customizations and fabrications all by JVcustoms unless otherwise noted.

Okay, I don't even know when I bought and assembled this thing but it was a long time ago. lol It's an original release Return of the Jedi snap-together model kit of the A-Wing Starfighter from about 1983 or sometime soon thereafter. Long story short, bought it in a group lot at auction and split the cost with a dude. He took the 2 Imperial models and I got the 2 Rebel ships. :)

So anyways, I got some paint to do my lightsaber and figured I might as well slap a coat on the A-Wing since she'd sat bare for so long. I have NO idea how to paint models, so I totally wung it with this. XD Seriously, I fixed smears and mistakes by wiping paint off with a notecard. Did the edges the same way. Actually, all things considered, I like how it turned out, but I wanna get some kind of off white and a lighter green to go over the rest of it and finish it off nicer.

If anyone has tips or suggestions or anything, there's an assembled Y-Wing of the same vintage that still needs paint... lol
