The first thing I had to do was create a sample. What would the pages look like? What is a Killbook?
In the story, before Gabriel breaks out of Level-9, he is introduced to an "Agent-O, a character that gives Gabriel the documents needed to begin this revenge quest. Inside of the documents are bios and information on all of the characters Gabriel will meet/team-up with/or kill.

Wacom Horror Warning peopleI realized i just been living in a lie. Been coloring with the wrong icc profile for almost 6 years. Its because all this time i had a secondary monitor like 8 years old that ive never notice it. I just bought recently a cheap and amazing monitor 23 inches aoc, and noticed that my cintiq tablet colors looked washed away.Wacom Horror Warning people3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I asked myself why all my drawings in deviant art dont look like in my cintiq, they look washed away or burned.
Because of two problems.
I have all my files in adobe 1998 icc, which its good for printing but not web browsing, but the most horrible one, its that the cintiq21ux.icc that came in my cd was really wrong. Got the correct one in a wacom europe page, my cintiq its first generation, so new drivers sucked hard doesnt work.
Also warning for those that have same old cintiq like me, new drivers screw up the pen, cuts the pressure in half or gives weird pressure to it-, and worst ive been coloring with pen pressure wrong and color really bad.
I had been coloring bli
Wacom Interactive Pen Displays??????Ok, so I was talking with :iconfooray: about Cintiqs and stuff. And he came across these. It's funny that we've never saw this before. If you know about this already, never mind.Wacom Interactive Pen Displays??????3 years ago in Personal More Like This
They're not Cintiqs, but they're basically lower-level, and lower-priced Wacom display tablets. The smallest one which is a 15.6 inch one, starts at like $1250 on Wacom's site. The second size is a 17 inch 4:3 one starting at $1600, and the biggest one, which is a widescreen HD 21.5 inch one starts at $1900.
A lot of people ask me about Cintiqs and the prices, but I was never aware that Wacom had these available. The only downside is that these only have 512 levels of pressure sensitivity, but I figure if you're thinking of/using an iPad, you'll appreciate at least that and that that 512 shouldn't matter much.
Even that smallest model KILLS the base Cintiq 12WX's specs imho, for only an additional $250. And these are on eBay as well, meaning you can most likely get them cheaper. I guess the fact that Cintiqs a

A List of 'CyberBullies'Apparently there is a list circulating around informing users of "cyberbullies" here on deviantART. The reason I have the word in quotes is because I do recognize some of these names, and the ones I do recognize appear to be fairly reasonable people. Necks for anatomy practiceI need to see loads of examples before I can get something. So here's loads of necks doing the weird necky things that necks do.Necks for anatomy practice3 years ago in Art Features More Like This
To get what's going on with the tangle of muscles and tendons catch necks in action. Watch people in cafes. Pause TV. (Buffy the Vampire Slayer has particularly good lighting for drawing.) Then check out how cartoonists simplify the confusion. Maybe even check out some anatomy to see what's going on beneath the skin. Each gives you a different piece of the puzzle.
Organized by where the head is relative to the shoulders, then by where the camera is. So each group should have the same muscles and tendons bulging out. (If you post drawings from any stock here, do check the stock artist's rules.) NOTE: Images marked with ⬅ are NOT stock. Use them for practice, but don't post. (There's only one image marked since there's so much great stock.)
If you stumble across good neck stock, especially with good shadows, I'd l

On March 1, 2012 the Nevada DMV issued the first license for a Google Driverless Car. The idea behind this innovation is that one day soon new technology will drive cars safer and more skillfully than humans, thus saving lives and billions of dollars in car crashes. How well this idea catches on is a bit questionable, given the powerful “romance” of driving one’s car, but it’s certainly an indicator of things to come in the daily intersection of human and artificial intelligence and mobility. There have always been those who have dreamed of stepping into a mechanical exo-skeletal-type “suit” and letting the engineering do the work, insta

I'm really not interested in who favourites my stuff, especially when they don't comment.
It's like "Oh, I have 56 messages!". Nope! Someone just fav'd half my gallery and left me a pointless llama!
Also, favourite this journal, because apparently you can do that now.
PS. I hate what you've done to my journal. The style doesn't match the rest of my page now.
PS2. Make polls a non-subscriber feature plz, cause they're free on Facebook, and they're really the only useful feature subscribers get anyway. If you guys aren't making enough money off ads and prints, then you're doing it wrong.
Edit: Since this journal's gotten polular, I'll add some more daring suggestions...
PS3. Get rid of journal CSS skins, or at least let me disable them. Inconsistancy is bad site design, and this really puts me off reading journals by other people.
PS4. Fix your file directories so Flash games don't lose their s

“When I left high school, I had all my plans to go to college, but I had no money. And I decided then, the best thing for me to do is not worry about getting money to go to college — I will educate myself. I walked down the street, I walked into a library, I would go to the library three days a week for ten years and I would educate myself. It’s all FREE, that’s the great thing about libraries! Most of you can afford to go to college, but if you wanna educate yourself completely, go to the library and educate yourself. When I was 28 years old, I graduated from Library.”

This is it! Without further fanfare I'd like to introduce you to a project that I've been brewing with greenestreet and jeffreylai since October of last year. It's an animated micro-series focused on delivering quality action animation.
A Kickstarter for the series called "1000."
That's me speaking on the voice-over.
(Also, I'm the thinnest guy in the video. Shows how much I've been working lately...)
I'm playing the role of animation director and can definitely say that I'm nervous and excited about where this thing could go!

Save the Boob-plate!The reason for making this journal entry is because there is something that has been on my mind since the past three months. And not on my mind alone as it seems more artists are confronted with the same thing I'm about to say. While in most cases time dissipates the issue in my mind this time it is something that keeps bugging me over and over again to a point it irritates the hell out of me. Afterall it is a hot topic that has gone completely viral for many months now.Save the Boob-plate!2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
This journal entry is all about judgmental journalism, offended-by-design opinionators and the fearsome white knights that the first two bring in its wake. Surely this is something that has existed since the first written word on the internet, and for as long men could express their thoughts behind a pseudonym charade.
Recent events and a large exposure to unhealthy criticism had gotten me thinking and checking with my fellow artists. I'm sure people will say that as an artist we should learn how to deal with harsh and

There was once a time when art depicting the lands west of the Appalachian Mountains as pristine wilderness awaiting exploration was censured by church and state as distracting from more important matters of the common pieties of home life. But there have always been those who need visions of grander realms for the journeys they can only dream of experiencing, but that may one day be rest stops on their great–great–grandchildren’s celestial road maps.

What is Eureka SeveN: New Order?
New Order (also known as "Episode 51") was an episode that used recycled animation but was voice recorded for by the Japanese cast back in 2006 for a (at one time) planned alternate ending to the Eureka SeveN series, but of course, was not used as the final ending.
The manga is based on this alternate ending, but with all new artwork.

Fandom and OwnershipI recently saw an article where Mike Tyson is supposed to appear as a convict who was a victim of sexual abuse as a child. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/tv-column/post/nbc-moves-mike-tyson-law-and-order-svu-episode-up-a-week/2013/01/30/0dc276fe-6b34-11e2-af53-7b2b2a7510a8_blog.html . The reactions to Mike appearance on the show has kinda made me think about the power that certain pockets of Fandom try to exert over a show.Fandom and Ownership2 years ago in Personal More Like This
A prominent Rape activist, in talking about how sickened that she was by convicted rapist Tyson being on the show, talked about how fans like herself felt betrayed. She further when on to say that because the focus of SVU is on the victim that they feel like they OWN the show. Now, while I understand, appreciate and respect the touchiness of this subject, this woman couldn't just leave her objections to these grounds where her moral high ground does exhibit latitude. She had to approach it from a standpoint of OWNERSHIP.

Regarding unemployment / Freelance *UPDATED*From the polycount discussion over here: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=113798Regarding unemployment / Freelance *UPDATED*3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I get the sense that some HR people (& immigration) look at 'not working inhouse' as being unemployed - mainly because it's so hard to prove exactly how long you were *actually* working on freelance.
If I was to look at it that way, then I've been unemployed for periods of up to 3 years.
I got over worrying about money and financial problems back when I had little to no money to worry about - and I think that's helped me to no end. Life seemed to be stuck on replay when I was in that frame of mind i.e. creating stuff because I HAD to get a job. Years would go by, and it never ever worked out for me, somehow I'd always end up in exactly the same place until I put in the time to find something I enjoyed, and simply worked at that no matter where it took me.
I have friends on my list who have been without a job or freelance work for ages, but they are also the same guys who don't have
