"That Nova Girl..."
That Nova girl is always trying to seduce me, and then she just ends up kidding about it! I mean who WOULDN'T want me? I'm gorgeous! I mustn't let her trick me again. But I have to deal with her anyways...she's my other medical assistant now. I can't believe Lord Megatron assigned her that job! I don't care, she has to call me Master, which I don't mind at all. I was walking down the corridor and I, unfortunately, came across Nova.
"Oh, hey, 'Master.' What are you up to?" she said, with that TONE going on again.
I rolled my eyes and put my hand on my hip and said,
"Oh, nothing. Just walking, since I have no patients today." I answered.
"Oh, good. Maybe we can have the Medical Bay to ourselves then. Hm?" She said, seductively.
She put her hands on my chest and rubbed them up and around my neck. I became cautious, but then said,
"Oh...this again, huh?"
"What are you talking about?" she said with a devious smirk.
"Oh, just you PRETENDING to flirt
TreeI rest beneath my favorite treeTree1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
As I walk through the forest.
I stare up
through the emerald leaves
And coppery branches.
Each slender twig shaped lovingly
By the hands of mother nature.
Wide stretching arms
Hold up the breath taking canopy.
Smooth brown branches hide
Under the leafy sea,
Turning to ivory when bark is pealed
From a fresh twig.
Delicate tendrils of ivy
Twine around the trunk,
Like so many green stitches
In the brown velvet
Of a lady's gown.
And, as I rise to leave, I look back,
And I see the tree.
Cloaked in it's golden shroud of sunbeams,
And I watch as it waves good-by.

Like a gentle caress
Touching my cheek
The sweet smelling breeze of wildflowers
Ever so sweet and pure
Morning dew grass
Waves in the wind
Pouring down in rays
Stand high and strong
The guardians of mysteries unknown
Rivers and trickling streams
Again, that breeze
So calm and warm.

that we used to share
The flowers back then had been full of color
but now you don't care
Each day and night
I hold a paintbrush in my hand
among this foliage
that will soon probably turn to sand
I paint them to their former glory
and try to replicate those wonderful pigments
that glistened and shined
but disappeared and are now a figment
All I do is wait
for the day you will return
so the flowers will live again
but for now I just yearn
If you never come back
and the flowers never become their original hue
Please remember this:
I am still painting flowers for you...

sorrow and happiness

Delicate fingers painted
on the canvas wall
every detail matched
with every branch and line
Blue and black
sorrow and distress
Colors of the rainbow
of the world
of the cosmos
rubies and emeralds
fall out of my eyes
from the old and new colors
Your eyes seep of wonder
I grasp your hands

It feels like the end
We hug and we cry,
Signing each others shirts
Numbers are swapped
Promises are made
Our friendships will last
Till the end of the day
Part of me grieves
That part of me wants
To run and just hide
Ill never look back
Cos this is my way
Its the same every time
With these lost school days

A page of everlasting fun.

Now its time; the end of school-
Is all so very near,
And some of us already think;
'This never took a year'.
For some of us there is no reason-
To even shed a tear,
For others it's that time in life;
To lose those very dear.
There is hope for tomorrow though,
When all is said and done,
Well look back at the time we had
And all the reckless fun.
We'll realise its not over yet;
It's only just begun,
'Cause off into the future
We're all about to run.
In this school we've done it all:
We've danced, we laughed, we cried,
But now that some of us are leaving-
It feels like something died.
And out into the world we head
With courage, love and pride,
And through all of life's challenges
We're never gonna hide.
So off into the future,
We go with heads held high,
As tears run down our faces,
'Cause we said our last goodbyes.
But never be disheartened,
Friendships never die,
They'll never be forgotten-
If you just let them fly.

Enveloping your conscience with its beauty
The vibrant colors of blue and red
Spring to life in your mind
With its silent aesthetic power
Alone on a wall
An impression of a perfect life
Or what it feels like
Hanging in a frame
An artist created this world
On his canvas
Led his brush across a pale void
Until he found peace in his work
Your soul has poured into the fields of amber grey
Coming to life in the perfect dawn
You have been taken by the wind in the painted sky
You find peace in this virgin tranquility
You find hope in a blend of color and life

Not a hope left, not a trace
No fire burning in your eye
Only shadows from where you'd cried
I could see you lying there
On your face a single tear
I knew you knew what we wanted to say,
I'm going to love and miss you every day.
Your are gone forever now
But ill see you again and that's my vow
Ill love you forever more
Like you loved us, down to the core
I cried and cried when you left
But where you were now was the best
I talked to you every night
Praying that you were up there and all right
I needed to know that you were safe
And now I know that you're in a better place
I miss you everyday and night
I know your still here, just out of sight.
paintingThe paint sat like the surface of a poolpainting8 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
You could not tell how deep it was
The canvas lay on its frame
Naked and bare no hint of what was to come
With a whim the brush broke the surface
The color was pure
It touched the canvas with its brilliance
The sound of the strokes like a purr
Only hints of the beauty showed on the top
But it formed and came into focus each revealing drop
The paint was deeper then the sea when really dug in
The canvas was glowing with more then any eye could see
Ever feature was perfect as he lovingly progress
But still something was missing from her yet
Then a tear hit paint as he stuck his face past
He smudged her cheek with a kiss that would last
Broken DreamsWelcome to my Hall,Broken Dreams2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
My Hall of Broken Dreams
Unfinished Tapestries far as the hands can see,
Threads slowly unweaving,
Can you feel the Haunted eyes?
The eyes of paintings long ago started,
Staring down a Hall unpainted,
Bleak half finished faces
Wishing to shout their tales of Joy.
The Lavender scents curling
From Flower pots long dead
The smells of sweet memories,
Laughing coldly at me.
But the worst one that I see,
It's a picture,
Once of him and me,
Ripped into shreds,
Dreams we made won't live again.
So here I stand,
A Broken Marionette,
Welcoming you to my Hall of Broken Dreams

The one we'd sit in for hours?
It's dead now,
And so are you.
I haven't come to terms with it yet.
Sure, I can say it,
But it's kinda a joke to me,
Even though I know it shouldn't be.
Do you remember our plan?
In the winter to put fake flowers there?
And watch the passing car,
And joke how confused they'd be.
Well, I'm making a new plan.
I'm planting fake flowers in that field.
All white roses but one,
A single red one hidden among the rest.
I'll write what happen,
And bury it under the red one.
Then, I'll start painting the white roses red.
Every day until I've forgotten what one started red.
And maybe I'll forget the bad too,
And remember the good.
I'll stop blaming myself,
And live the life you wanted me to.
I started a month after you left,
Painting the roses red.
But to this day,
I'm still painting flowers for you.

Are most memorable by far
We've all had lots of chances
To shine out and be a star
Some of the best friends
I'm sure we'll ever meet
Have came from this middle school
That we're about to leave
We're going off to high school
A jungle in its own
But I'm sure we'll be prepared
With all the lessons we've been shown
Eighth grade, No need to worry
You know we'll be all right
We sure will miss our crazy teachers
Those who make Cranberry a delight
The memories we've had here
The good ones, and the bad
We'll look back on someday
And be happy, but also sad
We'll miss you, but we're ready
For whatever high school brings
Cranberry, we'll still love you
But we're moving on to bigger things

Just another morning,
The start of a new day,
You woke up,
That this wasnt just any other day;
But when it ends,
Its just another grain of sand,
Falling to the bottom of an hourglass,
Lost amid other days
Its the last day,
And youll miss the others,
Those other days.
Everyone is happy,
With true feeling;
They are in bliss.
To get away,
To spread your wings,
Some part of you,
A small part,
Wishes to stay.
Passing by so fast,
Like a dream,
A strange, hazy dream;
And find that you are
Someone else, someplace else,
A slight breeze,
Blows across your face;
Upon the earth,
The sun shines.
One last time,
You see it all go,
Shrink and fade into the distance.

Life does not end,
God has angels to send,
Jesus was love divine,
Neighbour whats yours is mine.
Empty promises of a vicar man,
Trying to spread a loving hand.
Could he really save our souls?
And leave us with no empty holes,
Words are all the vicar man preaches,
Deaf are the ears to those it reaches.
The empty hopes of a vicar man,
Saving the souls that no man can.
I often wonder if he can see,
How beautiful the world can be,
Does he see a world of hate?
And actions merely whims of fate?
The empty eyes of a vicar man,
Seeing the lies of this broken land.
Do you think he sits and cries?
And asks the Lord his reasons why,
Does he see sin black as night,
Or goodness that is shinning bright?
I wonder what the vicar man sees,
Or are these just his broken dreams.
My God is bright and full of colour,
He inspires me with might wonder,
And when at times I let him down,
Forgiveness not an empty frown.

My LordMy Lord came down from heavenMy Lord6 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
And he walked upon the Earth.
He walked among the people there
And shared Gods love from birth.
He asked not crown nor glory
He sought neither fame nor pride.
He only worshiped God on high
Until for us he died.
And when he died the people cheered
'Where is your God?' they jibed.
There in the ground his body lay
The disciples ran to hide.
The Lord was not the dead one there
For God ran through his veins.
It was the souls of sinners there
That felt the dieing pains.
For the act that Jesus did for us
Was one for all man kind.
And when Jesus died the world did weep
In heart and soul and mind.
Now Jesus walks on Earth again
Not seen by human eye.
Hes in us by the Holy Ghost
And sits with God on High.

A thousand years and still
You would be the only one for me
I could dream for
The rest of my life
Just as long as you
Are there with me
In my dreams tonight
I could fly up to the moon
And catch a shooting star
If would take me
To wherever you are
I could travel around the world
And sail the ocean blue
To prove my love for you
I could go and fight in a war
Be brave, strong and true
If it meant that you are safe from harm
I could do all of this for you
For you are the love
That I have found

Dance joyfully around the flames.
They all fall down.
Let's all play the fiddle as
Rome burns to the ground.
Aren't I a good daughter mommy?
How's my essay daddy?
Look, I swear I'm a good child.
I've gotten so good at acting...
Acting like I am normal,
Like everything's alright.
Pretending that I never cry myself
To sleep at night.
Yeah, guys, I'm fine, go on ahead
When they're gone I can bash in my head.
Have fun having perfect lives
While I lay on the sidelines.
Cracks in the wall,
Tears in the fabric of space.
My phantom nightmare hellish figures
Dance around me
Oh what a happy place.
Look at how the weak little girl falls down"
Point and laugh, laugh, laugh, laugh
Their cackles rise in volume
Never stop, never stop
Now you know a young girl's heart can never be replaced.
Oh yes, I'm fine. I hope you're happy now.
