Dark Descendant Ch.2Another Journey
The couple had stayed in that cave for a few weeks now and things couldn't be better. Spyro and Cynder had enjoyed every second of not having to fight any war. One day as Spyro was hunting for their next meal he found a lone deer grazing in a meadow. He slowly crept up to it behind a bush and waited for the perfect opportunity.
Meanwhile Hunter was sent off on hunting duty again, but he didn't mind, hunting was his name after all. He searched the forest and came up to a deer grazing in the meadow. He aimed his bow and fired, but at the same time a purple blob tackled the deer and got hit by the arrow.
Spyro fell to the ground in pain as the deer sprang to its feet and got away. Spyro grabbed the part of his leg that got hit. He looked around to find the culprit.
"Who's there?!" Spyro shouted with smoke rising out of his nostrils wanting to kill the one who did that.
When Hunter stepped out into the open Spyro quickly calmed down at the sight of his old friend.

"She's wonderful, isn't she?" A black dragoness asked her purple dragon mate.
"She is indeed Cynder." The purple dragon replied.
The one they were talking about was the little dark blue dragoness sitting on the floor in front of them. She had hatched just moments ago and was looking all around her surroundings, getting accustomed to where she was. After a couple of minutes she attempted to get up, and with the help from her parents was able to walk to them and examined them more.
The setting is the mighty Dragon city of Warfang, just a month after the attack from the Earth Dragon tribe. The wall has been rebuilt and all of the Guardians are all healthy once more. To Ember's surprise Statica made a quick recovery and was back in the council chamber before she was officially released. Glacia has also laid her egg and waits for it to hatch with her loving mate, Murghus. The Ice Queen, Krystal, has also become pregnant from her mate Adrian. All is well in Warfa

"Eira! Get back here!" A young dragon yelled while running after the blue dragoness.
"You gotta catch me first Luna!" Eira yelled back.
The two dragons ran through the streets in the city of Warfang, weaving in and out of the crowds professionally. Eira kept running while looking back every few seconds to see where her pursuer was. After going through a crowd of dragons she ducked under a meat stand and laid down low. After seeing Luna run by unknowingly she sighed in relief.
"May I help you miss?" someone asked her.
She looked up and saw a fire dragon looking down at her curiously.
"Uh, no sir, I'm just hiding from my friend." She answered.
"Oh, alright then." The dragon replied. "You may hide here as long as you need to."
"Thank you!" Eira exclaimed before looking back to the crowd in search of Luna.
After a minute of looking she could not find her anywhere. Thinking that it was safe to go out she crawled out from underneath the stand and stood up, still keeping an

Obeying her command the mighty Ice Golem raised it's fist and brought it down towards where Spyro and Murghus were standing, but only hit the stone stairway they once stood upon. The two dragons had dove out of the way just before the strike came, and to avoid another one they both took to the sky. After finding where Spyro was the Golem took a breath and shot large icicles towards him. Wasting no time Spyro quickly flew out of the way and shot a fireball at the beast, but came to no avail when it put it out with a mist of ice.
With the first attempt failed Spyro continued to try to melt the monster, but the reactions were too quick to get a good shot off. Seeing the purple dragon having trouble Murghus decided to try to distract the Golem to give him a clear shot, but before he had the chance to get close he was tackled from underneath and brought to the ground with a crash. He looked up and saw Alexis pinning him down with an evil grin.

"Then I'm with you." Cynder said, clearly never going to leave his side.
Realizing there was no way to change the dragoness' mind Spyro began to use his powers to restore the world. After the light consumed his vision Spyro thought he heard Cynder's voice again but it was too quiet to make anything out of it.
As the world began to repair itself Spyro began to feel his powers drain from inside of him. He then thought of Cynder, and how she would be trapped inside the core of the earth. He sent enough power to her to teleport her away.
As Cynder stood there, watching the dragon she loved save the world, she noticed the light that he had sent to her.
"Spyro! What are you doing?" she asked afraid to lose him.
"Don't worry Cynder, I am doing what's right." He said to her.
"But I don't want to leave you!" she yelled back with tears forming in her eyes.

With the added weight the flight back to Warfang was very difficult for Wasp, even with the help of Voltara Statica's body was heavy and difficult to fly with. They had flown for two days, only stopping to eat and put more of the gel onto Statica's wound. During the nights Wasp stayed awake and kept watch for anymore apes, letting Voltara rest. With his friend's life on the line he couldn't risk losing her or Voltara, not even to get a few hours of sleep.
On the second night Voltara could see the exhaustion taking over Wasp. She knew Wasp had stayed up the entire night, and was not about to let him stay up another. Once they had finished their meal Wasp walked away from the fire without saying a single word and took the patrolling spot again. After a few minutes Voltara walked up next to him and sat down.
"We might be able to make it to Warfang tomorrow." She stated.
"Indeed." Wasp replied while looking through the forest.
She looked over him curiously and added "you will

The sun had not even risen before Eira was woken up from her comfortable sleep. Murghus had gotten her up and after a nice breakfast announced it was time to leave.
"Why so early daddy?" Eira asked with a yawn.
"Because it allows us to fly for longer, and we will have more energy." Murghus told her.
"Okay may I ride on your back for a while?"
Murghus chuckled and said "of course sweetie."
Once she had climbed onto his back he looked to his mate and said "alright, let's get going."
Glacia nodded in rely and led the way outside. Eira looked around and saw it was pitch black with the exception of the street lights burning every now and then. She held onto her father as he spreads his wings and began flying with Glacia close by. She looked down upon the city in awe. The lights that were still on lit up the city beautifully, she had never seen the city at this time before. Eira wished she could see it like this all the time if it had only been a bit later i

Spyroena appeared back in the afterlife breathing heavily. She approached a blue dragon and bowed to him.
"Forgive me master Ragne, but I have failed." She told him.
"There is nothing to forgive Spyroena, you did what you could and Nukpana is far more powerful than you are." The dragon replied.
"But Phoenus has fallen deeper into the darkness!" Spyroena exclaimed.
"I know, and there is nothing more we can do for him at this point." He told her. "Even from his imprisonment Nukpana is powerful. We can only hope that he doesn't get too powerful."
"Go get some rest and recover your strength Spyroena, you deserve it." Ragne told her.
"Thank you master." She stated before walking out of the room.
The former Chronicler turned his attention back to the pool and watched it change from a light blue to the inside of a dark cave with the outline of a dragon lying down in front of a giant crystal.

What the three dragons saw in front of them was none other than their worst fear. An army of around a hundred earth dragons filled the fields below with no signs of any apes with them. Even with the small number of dragons that were there they all knew this was the biggest army of dragons to ever attack Warfang.
Flame turned to his personal guard, Aden, and ordered "get the rest of the soldiers here! We are going to need everyone we can get for this battle!"
"Yes sir!" Aden replied before flying back into the city.
While scanning the army in front of them Gravel spotted a familiar dragon at the front. It was none other than his father, Boulder. He hadn't seen him in years, but he knew all too well that it was him. The one time he saw him his face was burned into his mind. The band of dragons charging the city of Kennith met with heavy resistance on their way. Large fireballs flew over their heads, but none had hit their target. Once at the wall they dove down and tackled the dragons on it, sparing their lives by knocking them out. Flame motioned his paw to Aden to take his team with him. Aden obeyed and led the dragons of Warfang to deal with any resistance inside the city, leaving Flame with Zachariah and his followers.
"Where would Meltor be?" Flame asked.
"He is a coward, never shows his face when a battle begins." Zachariah answered. "My best guess would be the throne room with the king."
"Okay, take your men and meet me there." Flame ordered. "I have someone I must see first."
"As you wish Master Flame." Zachariah replied before running off with his troops.

"No, but a way to treat an enemy!" Cynder shouted as she let lose a stream of poison at his face.
Demetrius simply moved to the side and said "how typical Cynder, you always jumped to conclusion before hearing the whole story."

Spyro shook away these thoughts and looked back into the vision pool, bringing Ignitus' image back up.
