ARGGHHHH my boonnneeesssss are so hurrttyyy. Call it Arthritis, joint pain, overworking, etc. ... You probably have it too.
Playing lots of fighters on arcade sticks and a few obsessive years of Beatmania doesn't help.
A year ago I started taking Black Cherry Extract, on the advice of my dad who has horrific knobby hands that look like his fingers are made up of old blocky G1 combiner transformers. I noticed absolutely no pain in like a day, if not hours.
1000mg a day. Do it.
It's got be BLACK cherry though. Tart cherry of regular cherry won't cut it. They're alright, but not as good.
ANYWAY. Ran out a few days ago. My hands hurt like hell... going to GNC when they open.

It goes without saying that a Wacom tablet is a must have for any digital artist or even the hobby art enthusiast. Released early this year the Intuos 5 is available in multiple sizes and proportions, and it includes 60 degrees of tilt sensitivity (50 degrees in small model) and 2048 levels of pressure due to EMR (Electro Magnetic Resonance) technology in the Wacom pen. The Intuos 5 also has touch controls on the drawing surface, allowing the user to manipulate the canvas with multi-touch gestures.
If you know someone that already has a Wacom tablet think about accessorizing! All tablets will need new nibs from time to time. http://blogs
Titan FormulaQuite often in comics, we creators look for formulas or tropes to work from. A formula is essentially a recipe... While you can make slight alterations or changes to it, in the end, you still got to follow that recipe somewhat to get something that approximates what you're baking. If you deviate too far, you get into the realm trying something new. Now most people will say that trying something new is a good idea, and you're right... When it's actually a good idea. Taking my late mother's delicious taco salad and swapping out the ground beef for seasoned chicken? That's a good idea. Taking taco salad and swapping out the ground beef for oysters? That's disgusting and you deserve to get sick. It's like storytelling as well. Following a formula is not a bad thing, in fact it can be exactly what's needed, otherwise you end up with Oyster Taco Salad. (Bleh!) There's a set formula for what the character you're working on has. It's okay to have ghosts in Star Trek, but you better make sure yTitan Formula3 years ago in Personal More Like This

Of course, if your character/monster/whatever has a boatload of detail, it'll bump up the price some (though probably not much unless it's crawling with an obscene amount of detail), and if you want more than one character/monster/whate

The season of broken promises, completely undependable people, and an unhealthy amount of stress.
As you can clearly see, I'm more than excited. We've already run into enough problems, and as always, several weeks right before the con. Cliche'? Yes. Expected? Yes. Avoidable? No. Do we do this to ourselves every year? Absolutely.
However. My roomie and I are dragging each others limp bodies through this torturous process and are getting our Steam Punk Princess Daisy and Peach costumes together. Keyword, trying. Alongside that, well, I hate to even say what I'm planning to do, since, well, nothing ever REALLY goes through, since fate is sort of a dick butt, but if all pans out....You know. Good.
Anyway. So. Here, a (hopeful) lineup for Sakuracon weekend.

The treatment isn't going well. I'm at a pretty high dosage of chemotherapy and my body isn't responding to it. It keeps me functional, I suppose. I haven't missed much work, other than frequent infections and a persistent cough that won't go away. I guess it's a blessing, in a way. If I had found out all of this with a significant other involved, children or a house...how would I feel then? The fact is, my prognosis is pretty poor. I can't get off my medication long enough to have children, let alone will I be able to lift them up or run with them...or anything. No, children are out of the question. At very least, I wouldn't give this hereditary disease to my children.
It's funny...people keep telling me not to give up hope. That it's possible they'll find a cure within my lifetime. It makes me laugh because it doesn't matter. I'

I've been working on this beautiful bracelet all day today. For my mailling friends, it's HP3-1 sheet 6, 11 rows wide, in 20g 5/32" ID rings. I think my brain might be slightly mushy.
It's 11:42pm and I'm going to get in bed and read. I went to my storage unit today and got all the books in Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles. Yes, I own them all. In fact, I own all her books. Classic stuff there.
Wow...that was some random shit. Go me.
Oh..also, I think I'm getting a personal trainer. And then maybe I'll do some nudes. Though that will be a little difficult since I'm homeschooling my oldest kid. Huh...I'll have to think on that.

Ebben a journalban egyik adminunkat szeretném bemutatni nektek (ó, minden admin sorra kerül ám, biza').
Doktor! Sheldon Cooper, a zseni kocka.

PE: Importance of AnatomyThe importance of anatomy.PE: Importance of Anatomy3 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Understanding anatomy is crucial to many aspects of your art.
You'll notice that anatomy is essential for drawing. It becomes difficult to accurately draw a complex pose, or even a simple one, if you don't understand what's under all that skin or fur, or even bark. Knowing how everything fits together is important.
Once you notice where that certain muscle is, shading and form become much more accurate and more natural. Knowing why the nose and eyes fall where they do make it much easier to draw from memory, and nail that natural look you were going for.
Learning the anatomy of the subject you're going to draw is quite important, and will definitely help you on several levels.
It's also easier to drawing sequences of movement. One will know what connects to what, and how they move. What is possible, and what isn't. (Range of motion)
Drawing people and other animals can be intimidating. Once you have a solid foundation, it's much easier

That song works surprisingly well for this journal. ANYWAY.
SO! Hey guys! You can actually go vote now on my current poll about trolling: http://skirtzzz.deviantart.com/journal/poll/2883578/
I worked for a company all last year that dealt with internet bullying. Trolling most definitely falls into the same category. Which, in my case, I find it ironic when I get rude comments and trolls- it's like setting fire to a fireman's house. We studied the whole concept so deeply at work- as to why people troll in the first place, and the list goes on and on, but it really boils down to an overall insecurity, which the safety of a computer screen can easily bandage.
Quickies for the peopleI'm opening new slots of commissions for people who are interested in not spending too much money, but are still interested in having a character illustrated by me.Quickies for the people3 years ago in Personal More Like This
They will be sketches in the style that I call "Quickies". You can go to my gallery both here and at Hentai Foundry to get an idea of how they look.
Payment up front, non-refundable.
Only one character.
No background (a coloured gradient is fine)
Complex and detailed clothing will not get translated well into the sketch format, so keep such things to a minimum.
Send me an email at email@example.com
Write Commission Quickie in the subject.

Liam Sharp was and is one of the most sought after comic artists in the business. After bursting on the scene by drawing the bestselling Marvel UK title of all time, Death Head II, he was back in America illustrating top line comics like Superman, Batman and Spiderman as well as special projects for people like Stan Winston. For anyone unfamiliar with his amazing work, his galleries can be found on deviantART. I recently got lost for an entire day perusing a single file of his Conan illustrations.

So, my darlings,
We must have a talk.
I know we have gone over this in various conversations, long-winded replies, multiple journals, etc.... but apparently I haven't beaten this dead horse well enough.
***If you are messaging me in any regard concerning my availability to do pornography/explicit poses, you are not understanding the purpose of my art!***
On my front page, the following is listed under my deviantID artist info:
To promote love and acceptance of our fellow human beings no matter their size, gender, race, or religion and realizing no other person should be diminished in the pursuit of another’s artistic expression and freedoms."
I understand this is a difficult concept for most males who think my body is sexy. I am OKAY with you thinking I'm a sexy, big and beautiful woman. I have absolutely no problem being B.B.W. or fat or wha
SingledomSo, my pretties; I may have spoken too soon about the "Domestic Life" as not-very-much-described before.Singledom2 years ago in Personal More Like This
My relationship has gone from marriage in the works to moved back with dad in the course of the month. There were many reasons for this to happen. That it did happen, must have happened and inevitably made it impossible for me to stay. I could go into the drama, heartbreak and sadness of it all -- but to me, it was really just life.
Things are always changing, including the things you want from life.
It's not that I don't love him; or that I was totally miserable all the time; or that I even thought about being with someone else. Those things DO NOT seem important anymore. My loving him; or being miserable some of the time; or occasionally thinking about being with someone else -- it's just not important in the grand scheme of things. Of my life. Of this universe. I can keep getting broader and broader about the insignificance of this whole thing.
But the truth is...I hurt someone v
