Multnomah Falls (Columbia River Gorge, Oregon USA) -- no tourists in sight on this icy January day!

The Pacific Northwest showed her true colors during my most recent visit, with nearly constant rain, wind, and fog. Shooting in this much rain (as well as spray from the massive falls) was definitely a challenge, as keeping the lens dry was nearly impossible! Definitely one of my favorite spots in WA so far...the photos just don't even begin to do it justice.

An extremely windy sunrise on our 3 day backpacking trip to Thousand Island Lake, California in the Ansel Adams Wilderness. Low, fast -moving clouds obscured the peak of Banner but still offered a beautiful display of light. Thank you for taking a look!
This is a shot that kinda got lost in my collection. I took it last September during my week long loop around Utah, hitting 4/5 of the National Parks there. Bryce is not a location known for sunset shots, but the sky was good, so I was able to get a decent shot despite that Enjoy!
