It's finally done! :dummy: To be honest I've only seen like 1 or 2 movies of her, but I really liked this picture :)

I have like a hate-love relationship with my drawings :giggle: Part of me feels YUGH when seeing all the mistakes. Nevertheless, I still love it....strange:?

I have to admit after finishing the face, I made the other parts quickly.
I'm quiet upset how it looks on the computer :saddummy: I like the real life one better.

Taylor Swift portrait,
100x90cm
all done in pencil,
took 16 days, 6 too long in my opinion, 6 days that I was in a bad mood and decided not to draw at all. But still counts, as I finished after 16 days :/ Not too happy about it...

For versions in progress check my blog updates:

*OH! And well, I am not a fan of Taylor myself, but noone can doubt that she's pretty, and this is what is always pleasant to draw (:

It's finished :dummy: Full view please :)

This time I wanted to challenge myself and draw some skin with freckles. I have to admit though, the hair could be a lot better, I just did the hair a bit quickly :ashamed:

If you want to compare this drawing and the photograph to see if I did every single freckle similar (same thing for the hair), don't bother.
This time I tried to use the reference very loose. And I did this on purpose.
I still drew the main things close to the reference, but drawing this way, I was free to add details that are not on the actual photograph.

Some artists stay very accurate to the photograph and some use it very loose once they've drawn the correct proportions. Honestly, drawing this way is (for me) a lot more relaxing.

Diane Kruger, such a Hitchcock Blonde :) Made with 2B and 8B on A3. It took me eternity or more, paper became crumpled in many places... oh well, after scanning it doesn't look so crumpled as it really is. Anyway, hope you like :)
