Picture taken around christmas. There was still some snow on the ground and many fog in the woods. I was on a mountain facing the sunset and the sky was clear, so the very last orange lights could reach this place.. with all the fog and the snow, it created an incredible atmosphere a few minutes before sunset.

That's one of the last natural woods here. On this beautiful early autumn morning, there were sort of the best meteorologic conditions to capture the true beauty of this untouched forest : a sea of mist covered the place but some sun light was piercing through. There were almost no sunrays because the fog was extended above the forest, but it was very luminous so the atmosphere was very pleasant, peaceful, mysterious and magic at the same time.
A beautiful sunrise from november with some crackin' red light. It was taken from a natural hill with many bushes and some interesting ground : it was covered in green moss and the brown heather was red in the sun... with the fog down the valley, this scene made some strange effect, it was quite magical and a bit otherworldly.
The first snows had fallen in the mountains and the autumn colors down the valley were at their peak, creating a great color contrast with the blue sky... At the end of the valley stands proudly the mount Olan, with its 3500m. Despite the cloudless sky, the beautiful colors and the snow in mountains allowed me to realize some pictures that couldn't be done in another place in my country. It was a very good experience to be in such a place at this precious time of the year!
Saturday's morning was rainy and windy. I was in a beautiful forest deep inside the local woods, which is one of these natural forests that become rare in my region, because of the wood exploitation... In this forest, there's a lot of rocks (and mushrooms!) and some old trees have impressive roots, like these. Despite the "more rainy than foggy" conditions, I thought I had to try a capture of this old place.
Beautiful golden light piercing through some "heavy" november sky a bit before sunset. Still some autumn colors in the trees and relatively warm air, quite disturbing as we had huge snow falls at the same period last year.
Title because we came to this spot with a bit of late and a few seconds later the light disappeared. Just had the time to do the several exposures needed for this image.
