Tagren (Tag) Shepard
Vanguard, Spacer, War Hero.
There are people who always struggle with their position, who always complain and rush forward to earn best, to show everyone their value Those were the 90% of the casualties at any campaign, every soldier knew this and this knowledge was that one thing that made a man with a gun a soldier.
Tagren Shepard was a soldier, he never wanted any glory and he was contempt with everything he had: from the shotgun and the armor to the comrades-in-arms be it state-of-the-art weapon and hardened war veterans or an old rusty slugthrower and a bucnh of green newbies. He followed orders and he did his duty, no matter what he never complained: 'Make do with what you have, some don`t have even this!' the sergeant in the Training Camp used to say Tagren remember those words for his entire life both of them!
So being locked up in the dark ti
Shepards Loyalty Mission"Shepard?" Garrus turned to the old friend who just entered the main battery room, but even the first bare sight on her made him squint, something was not right! Jaina Shepard stood before him, nothing changed: her hair the same shape and color, her face too, her clothes as well but the old detective`s intuition pressed heavily with suspicion, skilled eye of a man who solved hundreds of criminal cases and interrogated thousand people caught the difference immediately.Shepards Loyalty Mission4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
There was something odd about her, something odd indeed something he rarely seen Jaina Shepard showing she was nervous, REALLY nervous! It looked like one more second and she`ll start glomming with Biotics!
"What is it, my friend?" He came closer, accurately taking Jaina by the shoulders, "Why are you shaking? You feel sick?"
Jaina sighed and looked down, she shook her head noting she was not and then slowly pushed Vakarian away. Garrus stood back, allowing Commander move in, following her every step.

"She is tough, I`ll give her that much!" Tagren shook his head, watching the thick bloody drops under his massive armored boots. The purple trace they were following had been going on for a few dozen meters already, Vazir lost lots of blood which in different circumstance would be a good thing, but Tag knew better A wounded beast always fought harder!
Though he was not Adept Tag could still feel the residual Biotic power, radiating from the drops of blood Vazir was strong, truly strong!
"She is a Spectre!" Liara added sharply, following him. The young asari`s voice was cold, severe like she did not care for anything, if Tag didn`t know he`d think it was Legion that decided to practice mimicking female voice no expression, no intonation, just pure facts. It was not THE Liara he knew, this one was differen

Garrus Vakarian did not think, he simply kept repeating this simple formula in his head it helped him not to fall on the floor from exhaustion. His mind acted on instinct, his body held on the stims, his hands moved on the muscle memory: Aim inhale pull exhale reload again and again - just like in the training camp.
There were no days or nights on Omega, there was no sun or clouds, no wind or climate, nothing that would somehow show time If he was to guess Garrus would presume he has been here for a few weeks, or maybe it were only a few hours: the only thing that changed in this ever usual place were the piles of dead bodies paving the already crimson from blood bridge. Humans, salarians, quarians, drell, asari, men and women, mechs and vorcha all were there: every single one stupid enough to sign the contract and t

A conscience was slowly coming back very slowly. First of all Tagren Shepard felt he was lying, next was the feeling of cold metal under his forehead, after that the pain came various shades of it: the sharp one from the still fresh cuts and wounds Collectors bullets, the dull one of numerous hits and traumatized hand, the spiky one signing on that he was hit by a shockwave pretty hard and thus the muscles numbed All other feelings returned to Commander later, none of them were pleasant.
Tagren opened his eyes, frowning and hissing of pain; he felt like he was hit by meteorite... Something heavy was pressing him from above, very heavy.
"Ahhh... my ribs..." Shepard groaned and tried to get up pointless, the unknown thing nailed his body to the floor or whatever it was! The Vanguard

"Tali Are you awake?"
"Go away glowworm!" *cough* The quarian engineer sniffed and turned around, wrapping herself tighter into the thick wool blanket, her entire body was shaking from the fever, her head felt like a humming bee-hive, her throat was ticking like she swallowed a fiberglass.
Tag smiled warmly, shaking his head he knew Tali did not mean it, she simply was sick, and her irritation was normal. He came closer to the double bed she was lying in and took a seat on the edge, gently caressing his lover`s side through the thick blankets. Quarian smiled under the helm, it was nice to feel care of a loved and loving man! Shepard only left when she was sleeping and to speak with Mordin, except that he was always near Tali when she was not feeling well.

A light smile covered her lips when her fingertips habitually found the massive spiky warm turian side.
Not opening her eyes she moved closer and pressed herself to this not very soft, but still very dear back. Through thick plating Niki felt Garrus` muscle movements, heard his deep breaths. The turian was sleeping soundly by her side, facing the pool with the fish which Niki as always forgot to feed yesterday judging by the lack of movements in it!
'Damn it maybe I should flirt with Kelly a bit to trick her into doing this for me ' Niki let Garrus go not to disturb his sleep and laid back at her side, watching the deep void of the space through the ceiling window. She crossed hands under her head, breathing deeply and enjoyin

The habitual looks were almost screaming "Shepard is coming": the always the same black suit with high collar hiding even the neck, the low shoes more fit for a doctor Chakwas than for a young woman, the simple casual ponytail and no almost no makeup Jaina Shepard was as she always been simple as that
"Commander?" Miranda managed to slap a forced smile on her face, "What can I do for you?"
Jaina stepped forward and slowly took a seat on the chair in the corner, leaning on the backrest for support, her heavy sigh betrayed the internal tiredness, though physically she was good or seemed at least.
"I have spoken to Jack " She looked right into Miranda's eyes, "She calmed down. She is ready to continue the mission."

"Hey!" Tali yelled like alarm when the wrench simply flew off from her hand and with hollow clank fell on the cold slatted floor of the Engineering deck. The Quarian tech sighed irritated, looking at the chuckling person in the corner and venting air off her suit angrily.
"Tag, stop that! That`s not funny! I need to work!" She tried to collect the instrument from the floor but it slipped her hand again flying into Shepard`s opened palm.
Tali narrowed her shining eyes and threw the massive nut that she was just going to screw on at him. Shepard easily foresaw that, the air around him shined blue and he immediately teleported to the neighboring corner of the room, the "missile" missed him and hit the wall, making unpleasant echo.

"What love was for?!"
A question for a million, so many people asked it, none the less searched trying to find the answer. Every known feeling, emotion and condition was well explored by medics, psychologists, sociologists and other professionals - thousands books were written on the subjects, explaining those through and through, and there was little left unknown.
Yet love, love remained the enigma so far. The only solid argument that could be said for certain - and everybody would agree - was that the only thing we know of love is the fact we know nothing of it!
Many tried to answer this question yet despite the efforts of so many this mystery would never be solved it seemed... And now it came the turn of one particular soul to wonder on the internal mystery. Liara T `Soni was sitting on the soft sofa of the Commander` s 'loft' and thinking, supporting her body at the luxury cozy back.

He moved forward and clenched his claws around her forearms, then pressed quarian girl to the cold metallic wall of the engineering deck. She tried to resist but in this position she couldn`t even move, less escape. Tali tried to punch the turian with her knee women`s favorite strike, but the only result was a pain in her leg and most likely a bruise, Vakarian`s armor did its job well!
