An Angel,
An Angel on this Field of Ice,
Notices,
I hesitantly step on this,
Field of Ice.
This surface of ice,
It is but the most slippery,
And Daunting
Field of ice.
I try moving slowly,
On this surface of ice,
But my Crooked skates,
Knock me off balance.
As I start to fall,
For the very first time,
I accept help,
And In no time,
A hand catches me within the fall,
She catches me from my misery,
And helps me escape the pain,
From this,
Field Of Ice.
She then,
With the sweetest voice,
Asks me,"Are you OK?",
Even though I seem afraid,
I nod aimlessly,
While I reach for her fragile hand,
I grab he

Here I will be,
Waiting for you,
Always wondering,
When the time will come,
When our hearts finally meet.
In the past,
My heart had been broken,
Broken so many times,
That the pieces of glass, Were so small,
They couldn't be pieced together.
But you,
You did something that was
The impossible,
You gave me a new heart,
A heart without any bruises,
A heart without any bends,
You gave me a heart,
That is so brave,
It glows bright,
So bright, That I am no longer afraid,
Afraid of my fears from the past.
In the past,
I would have never thought that such a thing,
Would be possible,
But that is love,
Love is something that a

If you and I,
Were to live another day,
Known as tomorrow,
Would I be able to accept,
Such a sorrow.
If you and I,
Were to live another moment,
Could I,
Relive that moment,
Because I wouldn't,
Be able to get enough,
Of that,
Unreachable moment.
If you and I,
Could be together,
Forever,
Would that be enough time,
For me to show you all the love,
That I may hold for you?
If you and I,
Were to leave each other,
At this moment,
Would you forget me?
Never think about me,
Ever again.
Even if it was just another moment?
If you and I,
Could live another night,
Would you be sleepless,
Right beside me,
In this sleeple

A Mere GoodbyeA Mere Goodbye1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
If all your words are,
Just a mere goodbye,
Please,
Say no more.
To you goodbye,
May be just a new beginning,
But to me Goodbye,
Is but a sad ending,
Waiting to be forgotten.
I do not wish for loss,
I do not wish for goodbyes,
But I wish for a world
Without such empty regrets.
If this is how it must be,
Then please say no more,
Because those words are empty,
Empty like the sunset,
That bids farewell to the day.
I do not wish for you, Anymore,
I do not wish for another you,
But I do not wish to hear,
Such empty words of disappointment.
If all your words are,
Just a mere goodbye,
Please,
Say no more.

"This used to be my home."
He dug through the sand
"And now I am alone."
There was rain in the air
"It waters nothingness."
He really did not care
"All those people are blessed."
He held his wound
"Thank God for not much blood."
But it needed to be groomed
"I hope there'll be a flood."
He walked across the dirt
"Ashes of my past."
He was suddenly alert
"Did someone else last?"
He pulled out his sword
"Please reveal yourself."
There was no word.
"You are one of great stealth..."
He creeped around the corner
"Who might you be?"
A voice came from the foreigner
"Your biggest enemy."
He dropped his weapon

Where were you during the attack on the USA?
It rings a bell, ay?
Where were you when the smoke covered New York City?
Feeling pity?
Where were you on September 11?
The world stopped, 24/7.
Where were you?
We remember.

You stole my life

It cut off my breath
I can still see you
Running away
Away from your dirty little secret.

A dream of carnage is born
Intoxicating genius
Brings action by one
To make unholy
A gathering of serenity
And scar a community
That has been through so much
If ignorance is bliss
Than fear is reality
When one comes to realize
The origins of hate
No longer trapped in disbelief
The grim truth of human nature is upon us
Take from it what you can
To learn the mistakes made
But never forget
What drives horror
Beneath the mire of hate
Sits the prince of evil's evolution
For we face him every day
And must come to terms with his presence
Denial means only further disaster
Unless we take a stand
And unit

Petals drift lazily to the ground around her creating a light pink carpet. Laughter and excited chatter surround her on all sides, happy to have finished a day of thinking. Friends call out happy goodbyes to each other as they leave for other places. Among all of this, she waits. She sits, looking all around her, up at the puffy marshmallow clouds that fill the light blue sky and at the pale pink flowers that cover the branches above her head. Busy bees fly urgently from blossom to blossom while they fight against the breeze tugging lightly at their buzzing wings. A bird soars overhead like a black star against the blue sky, drifting with the flow of the breeze. Still, she waits. What she is waiting for does not cross her mind as she smiles at the simple beauty of nature which surrounds her. PROLOGUE:
It was dark-- the dead of night-- and would have been darker if not for the gas lamps that brightened irregular patches of earth and grass and tall buildings. One or two men in uniform walked about, their ears pricked and their green reptilian skin dappled by the lanterns. They did not notice the figure lurking through the shadows.
Sparktender crept by, pressed up against a wall that turned into a gate. He was moving slowly and methodically, taking pains to stay out of the light and not give himself away.
His imagination was not making it easy. Fragments of memories from his past pushed themselves to the front of his mind,
