An Angel on this Field of Ice,
I hesitantly step on this,
Field of Ice.
This surface of ice,
It is but the most slippery,
Field of ice.
I try moving slowly,
On this surface of ice,
But my Crooked skates,
Knock me off balance.
As I start to fall,
For the very first time,
I accept help,
And In no time,
A hand catches me within the fall,
She catches me from my misery,
And helps me escape the pain,
Field Of Ice.
With the sweetest voice,
Asks me,"Are you OK?",
Even though I seem afraid,
I nod aimlessly,
While I reach for her fragile hand,
I grab her hand firmly,
With the the grip even death itself,
Knows to be too tight.
This grip is,
And Almost unbearable.
Even though it is so hard,
For her to bear,
She continues to hold my hand,
Helping me inch forward on this slippery,
Field of Ice,
At first we move slowly,
But our speed gradually increases,
She lets go,
Telling me, "I will be back"
I watch her c

Here I will be,
Waiting for you,
When the time will come,
When our hearts finally meet.
In the past,
My heart had been broken,
Broken so many times,
That the pieces of glass, Were so small,
They couldn't be pieced together.
You did something that was
You gave me a new heart,
A heart without any bruises,
A heart without any bends,
You gave me a heart,
That is so brave,
It glows bright,
So bright, That I am no longer afraid,
Afraid of my fears from the past.
In the past,
I would have never thought that such a thing,
Would be possible,
But that is love,
Love is something that amazes us,
Its powers are so unparalleled,
That we can't even begin to understand,
What lies behind the word, Love.
It is so powerful it gives us something that escapes us, Bravery.
Here I will be,
Waiting for you,
Hoping to find the answer,
To what Love truly is.
The person I will love,
Look at me,
Our appearance may be different,
Our levels of Bravery are differ

I look into the night sky
The stars, they're so beautiful
So bright, I find myself wondering,
What is the purpose of those unearthly beings?
I look down at my small hands
As the night sky fills up my mind
Suddenly my dreams of being bigger seem so...
But what if?
If I was bigger
If I was more important...
Would I be able to catch one?
I sit staring out the window
Out in the night I see something peculiar
I encounter a shooting star
I shut my eyes and leave my being behind
And to that one falling star
I confide my dreams.
I look down at my hands
They've grown bigger
Calloused with experience.
As I walk out in the night
I encounter a shooting star
Again, with a faint familiarity
I trust my dreams to that star.
It's the same dream.
At that moment I realize with a sudden clarity
Just what stars are.
Leaving behind the other celestial beings
Who are too scared to begin the journey
Too scared to be extraordinary
Just like the rest of the world.

If you and I,
Were to live another day,
Known as tomorrow,
Would I be able to accept,
Such a sorrow.
If you and I,
Were to live another moment,
Relive that moment,
Because I wouldn't,
Be able to get enough,
If you and I,
Could be together,
Would that be enough time,
For me to show you all the love,
That I may hold for you?
If you and I,
Were to leave each other,
At this moment,
Would you forget me?
Never think about me,
Even if it was just another moment?
If you and I,
Could live another night,
Would you be sleepless,
Right beside me,
In this sleepless night.
If you and I,
Without a trace, Tonight,
Would I be able to fill the void?
The void that would remain,
In my heart,
For all the nights,
Of my life.

All I see is a girl, pale as the moonlight,
The ghost of a heart once pure white.
But when I lift my hand, she lifts hers too.
Who is this girl? She's blurred into ash hues.
There's something, though, that screams out loud:
A sparkle in her eye proclaims, "I AM PROUD."
A twitch at her lips, a fourth of a smile
Surfaces from a decade's exile.
A burst of a rainbow, a ray of sunshine,
'I'M GOING TO LIVE," is today's headline.
So now, I finally see me.

Did you give me a choice? So much pressure, so very young, so very easily persuaded of the good intentions. So upset, so filled with the self-loathing that you knew about, that you used. So easy to persuade of your goodness, so easy to get me to see you like I've always wanted to see you, see the world; as innocent, as beautiful, as a place inherently good. I was old enough and yet still too young to know that the world was breaking everyone apart, too young to want to admit that people hurt people. It's funny, how paradoxal I was, isn't it? Because I'd been pushed around by almost everyone I had met, but I still refused to know that fact. I was so clean. I suppose that I was the kind of person that people like you notice.
I am afraid; no longer trusting, no longer young.
Did you ask? No, I was so easy to twist, my memory so mixed, my reality so easily messed with. A beautiful-minded boy with the wrong reality- the perf

Teenage drama. Procrastination.
It all gets in my way.
Suicide and cyanide.
I just have to run and hide.
Trapped in places with no sun.

I throw out my keys.
Hide my locks.
Shiver and die by the ticking clock.
My notebook is burning.
My games thrown away.

No where to turn.
Yet still no way to stay.

End RemembranceEnd Remembrance3 years ago in Historical More Like This
Remembrance Day originates at the end of World War I. The idea is to honor those who died in the line of duty, defending their country from enemies. For all its pompous words and fancy granite memorials littered with colorful flower bouquets, Remembrance Day and others like it have failed miserably in achieving this goal.
I've often been criticized as having no respect, and that can be an impediment when discussing certain topics. However, I am often in luck – hypocrisy deserves no respect. What changed as a result of the enormous sacrifice of those who died in WW1? As the first bombs of WW2 fell just two decades later, millions once again obediently lined up under various pieces of colored cloths to slaughter and be slaughtered. It became obvious that absolutely nothing had changed, and that the millions of WW1 had died in vain.
Most would agree that all that lip service paid to the sacrifice between the two world wars wasn't good enough. To truly honor their sacrifice would be

Appears to be
Just out of reach,
No matter our effort.
But it is obtainable.
We must only try,
Give it our best shot.
So even if we fail,
We know we did our best.
But even if what we seek
Seems to be too far
Out of our reach...
We can still get it
With the help of them.
They who strive to make us
Truly who we are.
Those who know not only by name,
But also by heart...
And always, by soul.
Those that we love,
Be it family,
Spirits from the beyond,
Or the demons within...
They can lift us that extra
Little inch, the small
Gap being filled by their
Undying, everlasting help.
So that we may one day
Achieve the impossible.

You must strive towards your goal,
Don't stop the battle,
Some say it's easy,
But they do not speak the truth,
Nothing comes simply,
Will help guide me to the light,
I will show them all,
I cannot be stopped,
I won't lie down that calmly,
I will fight my way,
When I reach the top,
I will stand at the summit,
And reach out my hand,
Grab on and hold tight,
Draw inspiration from me,
Just do not give up.

A Light In The Fog
The long nights were dark and the short days seemed darker
The sun tries to rise but even the moon's glow is brighter
I'm just searching for something to give me a sense of hope
Even though I'm another typical fool who should just learn to let go
Eyes grow dim as time goes on
It's a sin to be this strong
I'm going through life and only seeing blurry faces
It's too harsh when all forms of trust are blind
I've walked this world and noticed nothing really changes
Every step seems futile and every dream is a sleeping lie
All souls cannot be shrouded
All hope cannot be abandoned
I needed a reason / To keep me breathing
So please pay heed to the pleas / I don't want the dim lights to leave
And then I caught a glance of you and instantly knew

And forcing us to brave our perverted community.
I'm sorry I don't conform enough to be 'indie',
I'm sorry I don't speak well enough to be 'street'
I'm sorry I don't look happy enough to be 'goth'

Wishing on a star,

The echoes you breathed were not for me but spoke none the less
This warming depression this cold forsaken chance
I'm still just looking for redemption for my mess.
My eyes gaze into the beyond; beyond the present
They read the words that were not meant for me, but they spoke
Into the part of me I thought was once dead; loveless
And the seal began to crack, began to bleed and it broke
The past floods into my mind as these words not meant for I
Live inside of my heart, the words you spoke expressed something
The one thing I couldn't speak without hesitation
Because these words filled a little thing called "Nothing"
I gaze into the future; with nothing but content
For this heart I gave I do not resent
Even though your smiling is distant and cold
I will get closer and take a hold.

At this hour, the evil reign within the impoverished streets and it is their twisted laws that are obeyed. The laws of thieves and murderers, criminals and outlaws, the twisted and deprived, but also the lost souls
The Cento Occhi have ruled the nights of the city with an iron fist for years now, supported by the mighty scepter that the Borgia family waves in the Vatican. Pocket nor lock is safe from them, carriage nor walls can keep them from what they desire. They take and deprive, rob and terrorize and those who stand against them, usually die by their blades.
To Lanz, this kind of conduct is the most normal thing in the world. As the leader of Rome's most feared gang, he endorses any behavior that might add to their frightenin
