There were plenty of places on campus that were dark like this because of the lack of lights, but I liked it how it was. I could see the tall stone wall that towered another two feet above my head coming closer and I rethought what had just come into my mind. Of course, vampires didnt actually need sleep, per se, but it was very tiring to go a few months without sleep, as well as uncomfortable.
