Here's my drawing of the baddies from the prequel trilogy of the Star Wars movies.
For this picture I started off with the idea of drawing a sister piece to my 'Empire' drawing: ... but I had to be selective when choosing which characters to use as I wanted this to be representative of the Clones from both the second and third movies - but that means, I necessarily had to leave some cool characters out.
This is an entirely original picture. First drawn freehand with pencil on paper, then scanned and coloured (over many, many hours) in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet.
During the scene in "The Empire Strikes Back" right after Luke lands and the Bespin guards are following Fett to Slave I with Han, Luke sneaks up on the hallway junction, and Artoo comes up to him and bleeps. Fett comes around the corner almost immediately to blast at him. I hypothesized that Fett stopped right around the corner and allowed the guards and the Imperials to pass him by because he sensed something (being the bada$$ bounty hunter that he is), or knew that Luke was coming from that direction because of the conversation in the carbon freezing chamber. I wanted to capture that moment by recreating the Cloud City of Bespin around Vasquez & DevGear's wicked lines.

The design of Jango (and Boba) Fett's armour is a classic - but I decided to draw Jango in 'stealth mode' here because I wanted to see how cool I could make him look in black armour. I haven't seen this concept done before - but I think it works work well and makes an eye-catching image.
I thought this might be how he could have looked in the 'Attack of the Clones' movie when he assassinated Zam Wessel on Coruscant - perhaps using a variation of his armour for when he needed to creep around!

Amazing, amazing, amazing colored version by fellow artist Colorist Chris coloristchris.deviantart.com/ ....Chris is super talented and you should look him up for commissioning your work too! Highly recommended.
I've always loved drawing Star Wars and have already posted some of my pictures: [link] [link] [link]
Star Wars has been around a long time now - so I really don't get anything from seeing images that copy stills from the movies or don't add any originality. So I always try to paint something that you haven't seen before - and with this one I've attempted to mix the epic 'movie poster' look with the feel of a super-hero team cover.
I really went all-out with this piece and it took a very long time to complete. I painted it at a very high resolution (it's a 330mb PSD file) but I dramatically reduced it here to make it quicker to load.
