To get away from the place that's crushed my heart
The place where everything serves only as a reminder
Of a woman who could have been so much kinder
You see, looking back, everything here has led to something bad
Even the happiest memories eventually became something sad
Now the one hope that kept me going has been completely crushed
If I ever give these feelings a voice, it will remain hushed
What hurts the most is what this change implies
Each time I think about it I feel pain as tears fill my eyes
Not even my old coping methods are working any more
I feel so much more lost than I have ever felt before
What tops it all is that a previous struggle has returned
And every single morning I wake up I find myself more concerned
But this time, my haunted dreams will be my own weight to bare
Partly because, as pathetic as it sounds, I have no one with whom I can share
But I know I can't bring myself to keep on trying
Because deep down inside I kn
The DragonbornAn ungodly shriek sounded loud and high, joined with sound of its wings slicing through the air. Her muscles tightened instinctively and her breath caught her throat as her eyes jumped to the dark, cold, grey sky. But it was already gone.
Certainty settled into her mind, the hunt was on. The only question that stood; who was the predator and who was prey? Two roles that would stay unclear and undecided until the final moment. It was certainly hunting her, but this prey would not go quietly nor easily into Oblivion.
Her ears perked up immediately. Keenly waiting and listening, but she sat in absolute silence. An eerie stillness only broken by the dull breeze -- unafraid of what traveled in its winds -

Two years passed and I didn't see that beautiful girl ever again but all I could do was think about her How nice she was with me, her smile and her tenderness that made everyone around her want to hug her and never let go.
One day when I started school I finally saw her again She was still the same, she had the same long hair she had before, and she still made me feel in the clouds. Then when she saw me, she smiled in a tender way and waved. For a moment I was paralyzed, so nervous, and I couldn't help but blush and finally I waved back
It was recess time and my friends called me so I could play soccer with them but I ignored them, that way I could go for that girl that stole my heart one spring April night
I finally found her after some minutes of searching She was in a big yard by herself, she was dancing for a weird reason, but she looked weirdly beautiful. I climbed to a tree and watched her as she danced.

"Wait, just real quick." I pleaded, my voice low as to not disturb the other people in line. He sighed, turning his head so he could watch me in the corner of his eye.
"What?" He asked rudely.
"What are we doing?" I ask him. He doesn't respond, but turns away. "Answer me." I demand.

Shoving her fists into her eyes, Sarah sank to the floor against the cold stone wall and cried. Just cried until her stomach felt empty and her eyes like sand. She hadn't ever meant to hurt his feelings, she never meant to yell and scream...or end up crying. That day was fine, just dandy, until...well, until everything went wrong. To put it loosely. Is that a wasp over there? That's it, I'm gone.
My fear of cellphones I cannot explain,
I'm scared of small children who always complain.
The horror of jello that melts in the heat,

With toothpaste and matches, the world is so scary!
Ever noticed, close up, most bugs are hairy?
The thought of pierced ears sets me into a tizzy,
Knowing germs are everywhere makes me feel dizzy,

Backwash, mold, being sprayed by a skunk,
Comprehending that your favorite shirt shrunk,
When people notice you can't tell time,

Anxiety when you run out of soap,
The chance of falling when jumping rope,

The Power of GriefHe had buried her himself, returning her broken lifeless body to the Bionis in Paradise Park, so in her eternal slumber she could look over Colony Nine as she had with Shulk and Reyn so many times. Squatting in front of her grave, he remembered her. Her laugh. Her smile. Her eyes. They were all gone. Forever. Fresh tears began to well in his electric blue eyes. The realization of how much he had lost, how much he would never see again... A tear escaped one eye. And another. And another. Soon the tiny trickle had transformed into a massive downpour. Raw sobs were wrenched from his lungs as the raw grief over-whelmed him. Colony Nine heard him. Especially a certain spiky red-haired Defence Force soldier. Upon hearing those heart-wrenching sobs he abandoned his post, running at a sprint through the Residential District and up into Paradise Park. The Power of Grief4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Along the way, they saw some boys, jeering loudly as they tossed rocks over the side of the dock, pelting a struggling form in the water with a cruelty that made Natalya cringe.

What do you do
When your world has nothing but chaos and pain
What do you do
When your life has been lived in vain
You've lost your only friend
And you have comfort only when you pretend
So in the midst of this horror
What do you do when you cannot see an end?
What did we do
To deserve this earth's most untimely end
What can we do
To fix this world and make our amends
There's nothing left
There's nothing we can do
So all I have left right here and now
Yet you are this hell's one and only angel
And you have given me hope
And when I'm lost in agony and I'm trembling and crying
Your love does help me cope
So maybe one day
We'll beat those enemies to the ground
We may be falling angels
But we haven't hit the ground
So I know, darling, as long as you're around
Our strength to kill this evil will finally be foundů

Granted, it was a small flickering flame—but a flame nonetheless. The flame in her speech could have heart-felt, homespun warmth to it, or it could be a dancing, passionate heat, or a raging inferno. It had a different kind of heat to keep up with her moods, but it was always, faithfully warm and bright.
But flame can be quenched.
Day after day, she would bring forth her flame into the world of speech. By sheer willpower, she would shoot out fire from, her lips. Sometimes, she would cause flames to appear from the lips and hearts of others; hot sparks of rage and/or passion. The more fire there was, the more her flame was fanned, bigger and brighter.
The spark within her seemed to have no end.
But flames can be put out in a snap.
For more often than not, rain—not fire—fell, unbridled, from their lips. Mockery, bad news, and apathy frequently rained down on her flame, almost quenching them.
But she had more spark in her heart than the r

As the sun sank down, two figures stood stock still in front of the opening to an underground tomb, the gateway from their world to what was referred to throughout the town as the Real World. Both one-thin splotches on the rising moon were extreme in height, the head of the smaller one coming to the shoulder of the other. The small one tugged at his ivory bat bow tie, not with nervousness but anticipation. It would be his first trip outside of Halloween Town.
Jack looked up to the other figure, an older skeleton who grinned back down at the young sixteen year old prince, his son. Jacks first trip to the Real World would reveal much of his ability to rule in his absence. His son would demonstrate stealth, grace, and an overall magnificent aptitude for terrifying. But the first trip also meant Jack would lose a part of his innocence. The first trip meant a prince would collect his first Halloween Town soul.

"Impossible," you'd scoff. Or would your eyes become wide with wonder? Would your heart beat faster, as if dancing to a distant tribal drummer?
It doesn't make a difference. I'd continue telling you my story. I have many stories. I could tell you where I came from, describe my dog father, explain about giant bees and the cultivation of metallic animals. Where the entrance smelled of rotting flesh.
Putrid and vile, bloated with maggots;
It stung the nose with every breath.
I avoided choking and steeled my will
For the mouth was a facade to deter the weak.
But the inside was opulent, rich and vibrant;
It matched the prey which I had to seek...
She sat in the center, confident and calm
Displayed on a throne of solid gold.
She wore a dress of beautiful silk
Red in colour, and very bold...
Her scent reminded me of gentle flowers
It soothed the soul to behold this sight.
She appeared in the form of an ancient goddess;
Bathed in a pillar of mystical light...
Do you like what you see, my dearest hunter?
She cooed in musical twit.
I'm afraid I do, my fairest lady
I'll admit that I liked her a bit.
She smiled and stood from her golden throne;
Coming close without a hint of fear...
She licked her lips and smiled at me
Shall I please you now my dear?
