Dragon's Comrade, Part IMy name is Brent Edele. I live in a world much unlike your own due to sorcerous powers at work, I have glimpsed your world, and hence I have come to this conclusion. There are humans in my world, yes, but there are also the graceful elves and stocky dwarves, among others. I do wonder how you, the reader, can exist in such a boring world, with your towering buildings and cramped cities. We, too, have buildings and cities such as these, but our cities are those that can be compared to the Renaissance period of your history.
As I mentioned before, I live in a fantastical world, with equally-as-fantastical creatures. There are ogres, orcs, werewolves and more. However, after the tumult that's been going on all this time, I wish to pursue the knowledge of one type of creature that stands above the rest both figuratively and literally. In your tongue, you would call them dragons I suppose I can

The Eon Bird Resurgence Part 1Where to begin? The Eon Bird Resurgence Part 12 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
You saw my goodbye to my parents. You even saw what happened prior to that. But let me tell you it's not over. Not by a long shot. As a Lugia, I'm a protector. It's my duty.
Enough rambling. My name is Raive Brand. I used to be the human Clayton Grant. But his story is done. Over. Now is when the action truly begins. The Eon Bird that label would probably fit my two siblings Latios and Latias better.
Yes, Latios and Latias are my brother and sister. I have quite the family. Blazi-Gia, a hybrid mixture of Blaziken and Lugia. His mate, a hybrid mixture of Ditto and Blaziken. Latios and Latias. My father, simply known as Lugia. And then there's me and Spirit. We're inseparable.
So I guess I'll go back to a short time after my revival as Raive.
I sat outside the beach cave that had become our home, and I was deep in thought. This was a few months after my revival, so I was acclimatizing myself to my new body. How to fly, how to swim, e

ReconsideredRefer to my previous journal for the basic idea, but I've reconsidered and I realized that people don't always have points.Reconsidered1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I'll do the stories for free. Just one at a time, mind you.
EDIT: I removed the previous journal because I didn't want to see people sad. I'm still writing them for free.
Taking story requestsI'm taking story requests. That's about it. Anything you want me to write about, I'll do it, because I need the creative drive.Taking story requests1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Art trades are even better.
Keep in mind, though, that if you ask me to write something with which I'm not familiar, it may not be as perfect as you'd like. Just a little fyi there.
The Eon Bird Part 1 - Kindling the RelationshipIt was a bright sunny day in Westlake, California. Not a cloud in the sky was to be seen. Cars streamed along the busy road running parallel to the shopping center where I purchased a certain unusual creature. The Eon Bird Part 1 - Kindling the Relationship2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I'm Clayton Grant, and those who know me say I'm unusual. That is trueI do act rather silly in school, but in truth, I'm just your average high-school junior. I get decent grades and I have a few good friends. I'm fairly smart and athletic, but I don't play sports save for fencing. But, I'd never had a pet of my own, until that fateful day... let me take you back to that day, that day when all changed for me.
"Mom, why can't I have a monitor lizard?" I asked. That was the day when I went to the pet store.
"I've already told you, Claytonthey eat mice, and there is NO way I'm going to feed it mice!" This was my mother, of course. A sensible and practical woman, she was unu
The Eon Bird EpilogueA quiet night. The leaves rustled in the trees as a winding wind caressed them. The "hoot-hoot" of an owl, echoing through the dusk. The crickets chirping, the frogs sounding their "ribbits".The Eon Bird Epilogue2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
But then if one looked closely at the sky, one could see me, Raive, flying alongside my mate, Spirit.
It had been two years after my transformation from Clayton Grant to Raive Brand. People forgot about my disappearance. It happens, you know? People move on. But I knew that, after I found out the whole story Spirit eating me and then using the energy and my soul to transform me into her mate I would have to do something about the nagging thought that my human parents weren't ever going to forget about me. So something had to be done. It took an entire day to cajole Spirit into what I had planned, but in the end, she relented. She knew that I wasn't going to let the matt
Dragon's Comrade, Part III"Graaah!" I brought my axe over my head, the axe-head biting deep into the wood block that had been provided for me. It had been two months since that fateful day, the day I fought for my life. Since then, I trained at least twice a week, mostly three times, to hone my skills with the axe. At the beginning, I had been barely able to penetrate the surface of the wood, and my strikes at the dummy did barely any damage. Though, at the end of the first month, I was able to hack the dummy's head off after a few swings. Another dummy was provided for me after that, and I was taught to manage my strikes to moderate damage, to cut instead of kill. That took another month. Now, while I still likely couldn't fight for very long in any given combat situation, I was now able to hold my own for at least a little bit, or so my mother deemed.Dragon's Comrade, Part III2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
My mother examined the gap in the wood that the axe had left.

Part 1: Turmoil
A ray of sunlight started to creep through my windowsill, slowly raising me from my slumber. The light, every morning, always seemed to shine directly into my eyes Not a good way to start the day. The room was dark, apart from the light seeping under the windowsill, and every so often, the oak wood floor would creak in the warmth of a new arriving day.
Looking around, I saw my computer, sitting on my desk, and my guitars, resting in their holders just to my left. In front of me, my closet sat, concealing clothes, my guitar amp, and other random little things. To my right, just a few feet away from my bed, sat the closed door, sealing my room from the rest of the house.
I groaned a little and slid my feet into a pair of slippers by my bed.
My name is Alan Douglas Stuttgart. A typical seventeen-year-old guy who was in his final years of high school... About six foot two, brown hair, hazel eyes, a thick, well-trimmed beard, littered with scars, and

The Eon Bird Resurgence Part 3 - Raive's FatherI woke up the next morning with a sigh. The dream with Shadow Lugia troubled me greatly. Was I really a Shadow Lugia at heart? Did I really have its corruption in the very fiber of my being? I slowly got up, looking at myself. Everything seemed to be fine. No purple. I looked into a mirror; my blue eyes gazed back at me. I slowly walked out and showered; such a marvelous invention it was. Of course, I missed bathing in the sea, but freshwater seemed to be good for once. The Eon Bird Resurgence Part 3 - Raive's Father1 year ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
When I finished, I walked into the kitchen, where Val and Spirit were cooking a pale substance that steamed. Val added something to it and she looked at me. "Ah, good, you're awake. I'm making some grits with butter."
I walked over to the substance and sniffed at it; it smelled like steam. "Doesn't look very appetizing."
Spirit lightly slapped the back of my head. "Be

It was a fine afternoon, but sergeant Kim Jensen didn't care, he was after all going on a mission. The danish army was sending him and his squad, into a weird mist that Suddenly came a month ago.
It looked harmless but they couldn't be to careful, so the Danish Army build a small base around it. But 2 days ago a great purple flash appeared, and the mist started acting weird since then.
So The danish army was sending a C-130 armed with 5 50CAL. machine guns, escorted by 5 F16 Planes, into the mist. And they were one out of three planes, cause the British army and the Russian army had gotten the same idea.
As they walked through the airfield Kim was thinking if this was a good idea, to send HIS squad out to do this.
There were Simon, who was a complete idiot. Then there was Bob, that was good at close quarter combat. Michael was the smart guy, and was a little nervous. Gunnar, the heavy weapons guy. Peter, Sniper and Sharpshooter.

TLoS: Origins_Chapter 5Next morning came with a heavy mist that promised to last all day. This mist seemed strange in a way that made all of the inhabitants of Warfang stand on edge. The camp of the dark army seemed very quiet, as if they were resting late or as if they were waiting silently for something. All of the guards at the wall were ever vigilant.TLoS: Origins_Chapter 53 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Terrador stood looking over the wall, hoping to catch a glimpse of the enemy movement that the mist hides. He sighted to himself as kept the vigil.
'I should have said something' he told himself for the hundredth time.
He couldn't believe that Ignitus was gone; he had known him since they were teenager dragons, exploring the world. Ignitus had applied to become a guardian at the same time Terrador did. He trained with him while they were becoming guardians; suffered with him, bled with him, grown with him... he was like a brother to him.
Terrador sighted once more.

He knew the old fire dragon had something in his mind the last
