"Dammit, stop destroying my house, aru!"
China's request was completely ignored by the three tiny countries running around him. Korea had a towel cape tied around his neck and he kept jumping on and off the couch onto a makeshift bed out of pillows. Taiwan had yanked all of the curtains down and wrapped them around herself in a dress-type fashion so she could pretend to be a Chinese princess. And finally, Japan had raided the kitchen and was threading an incredibly long string with pickled plums and radishes hanging on it.
You could practically see the steam floating off of the livid Chinese man. His face was pink with frustration and his fists were clenched by his sides. He couldn't take all the screaming and laughing and running and jumping . . .
"That's it, aru! I give up!" He threw his hands up in the air angrily. "You
Merry Christmas - SuFin Sweden sighed and wiped the sweat off his forehead. He sat down on a stool nearby, grabbing a cloth and polish. He looked down at the warm metal he was holding. The round object in his hand had actually come out better than expected---the ring was made up of individual leaves circling around and overlapping each other. And on the top were three spiked leaves facing away from one another with three jewels clustered in the center.Merry Christmas - SuFin3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
The quiet Nordic nodded in satisfaction as he placed some polish on the cloth, beginning to wipe the grime and excess metal off the ring.
He'd spent the past couple days in his shop, worrying and fretting over what to make his wife, Finland. He didn't want to buy something---he wanted it to be from him. So he had spent his days and nights making various knickknacks and baubles . . . Finally, after thinking it was about time he'd actually given his wife a ring, that'

"Thank you for keeping me company," the Austrian murmured, turning back to the scenery as well.
He never got to spend much time around animals anymore. Domesticated pets or wildlife held little fear of them, unlike normal humans, but that's not to say they weren't wary. The countries and the animals within them held respect for each other and whenever they came in contact the two usually coincide or go their separate ways. A couple more pigeons began to gather at his feet as he leaned against the bridge railing.
Swisstria--19 The theatre was buzzing with excitement, filled to the brim with people and countries of all sorts. Switzerland spotted his sister and went to take his seat by the aisle, which was about eight rows back from the front and on the right side section. Pretty good seats with a nice view of the stage considering the short amount of time Austria had to arrange for them to come in the first place. France squeezed past him and Liechtenstein to sit two seats away from the girl, an empty one in between them. Switzerland was quite grateful for that.Swisstria--193 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
He glanced over to his sister and caught her twisted around in her seat, chatting with the Icelandic boy seated behind them with Sweden. Thankfully, Norway and Denmark were seated a few rows farther back. The blonde turned around, slinging an arm over the back of his seat to stare at the silver haired boy, catching his attention instantly.

I feel Shadows swarm around me
As my eyes start to close --
Then I sense my Eternity

Confusion swallowed Erettla whole, numbing her aching body. A rough cloth encircled her head, shutting off her eyes, her ears, her voice. Panic fluttered around in her being, making her stomach twist as fear shot through her veins like a hungry poison. Heavy, cold chains wrapped like a snake around her bloody wrists, weighing her down as she stumbled along. She frantically searched her mind for why she was here, how she got here but all she got back was a strange blackness. Nothing. Not a single memory sat in her mind. It was nothing but an empty void, and all she was left with was a strange burning sensation throughout her scalp.
What is happening to me? Why am I here?
An angry murmur came from her left, followed by the rough shove of a pair of hands. She stumbled painfully ahead, tears building in her eyes, burning them, unable to spill down

Canada groaned and rolled over, blindly smacking at his alarm clock. When the beeping continued, he grudgingly opened his blurry eyes so he could press the 'OFF' button. I thought I didn't set my alarm last night, he thought groggily. Confused that the beeping had not stopped, he glanced at the glowing red numbers to see that it was almost 3:30pm in the afternoon. Jolting upright in bed, he fumbled around for his glasses, dropping them on the floor before finally succeeding in putting them on along with a pair of sweatpants.
Still hearing the beeping, he got quickly out of bed and went over to the window. Blinking against the harsh sunlight as he tied the drapes apart, Canada looked out and saw a beautiful day. The sky was a bright blue with a speckling of fluffy white clouds and the trees were swaying gently to an invisible breeze as birds flew from one to t

Who is this girl? What has she done to me? I reach forward and touch the glass. These aren't my eyes. This isn't my mouth, my nose, my hair. Where's the smile? Where's the glow? Where have I gone too?
I step back slowly as a tear slips down my cheek. This isn't me. This sadness, this anger. This was never here before. Who is this girl I've become. Weak and needy, nothing but a stranger. I sink slowly to the floor, wrapping my arms around my knees. Fear settles down into my stomach, helplessness accompanies my heart. Why did this come about?
So many questions, but I feel they shall never be answered.

A dozen or so countries had gone with Britain back to his home after the world meeting for a night of playing cards and relaxation. Many preferred the older, Victorian age home to the local hotels anyway, and the gentleman didn't mind entertaining. Austria and Switzerland had followed Germany over, with Spain stalking the Italy brothers, and China tagging along with Japan. Canada and Russia, who had recently started dating, also came with France and, of course, America.

The Nightmare On the eve of my parents' murder, nightmares plagued my sleep. I thrashed about in empty darkness, grasping for my senses in a panic. My heart raced, acting as if it was trying to leap right out of my chest. It seemed that I was floating in the cool nothingness around me, endless waves of shadow lapping across my skin. A single point of light appeared in the distance. I lay still in the dark, gazing upward at the thread of light --- no, the thread of hope dangling somewhere far above me. On the high of relief, I willed myself upward towards the light. The Nightmare4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

That I cannot stare at you without scrutiny,
Nor hold you close beside me?
I feel this love is hopeless and turn away from you.
You plead and comfort but I cannot hear through my tears.
Your hand caresses my cheek and I wail but more.
Anger fills me at your touch, that black malicious feeling.
I swing my arms and try to break our bond in fury,
But you just grab and hold me tightly.
I dissolve to sadness, burying my face into yours,
Wanting nothing more than to feel your lips against mine.
You pull me forward and I push you back.
My fist swings and the mirror is cracked, you are trapped.
Our eyes lock and stare in shock as I realize what I've done.
You reach out your hand and I see the grief begin to swell.
I smack the glass but you cannot come through.
Your face is somber and mine weeps, too.
God, I hate loving you.

Swisstria--15 Salzburg is a quaint place, settled comfortably in between two mountainsthe Kapuzinerberg and the Mönchsberg. Old fashioned shops lined cobblestone streets and colorful townhouses, castles and palaces in the distance shown brightly in the morning sun. The river Salzach majestically curved its way through the center of town, reflecting the sunlight off of bridges, painted windows and iron signs hanging on storefronts. I sense the tension, preparing for a fight
The enemy strikes from within the shadows
Trying to take you back to the gallows
I fight and slice with all my sword
While you just stare without a word
They cut me down and I start to sway
As they begin to take you away
I feel the darkness swell around me, engulfing me in despair
I reach for your hand but sadly it's not there
As I draw my final breath
I just stare at where you left
I promise to save you
I'll get back to you again
Even though my life is at its end.
Chapter Three-The Death Death, I never completely understood it. Nor have I ever believed it would change me, claim me for its own. Yeah, sure I knew one day I would die. How I would die, I wasn't sure but I always believed it would be an o.k. death. But sometimes death sneaks up behind you and strikes. Sometimes it will prove you wrong, destroy your happiness, and cloud your judgment. Sometimes it will drag you with sharp, painful claws into the ice cold depths of sorrow and loneliness. For some reason it enjoys the world's suffering. Never in my life would I have thought that death would help me. Pain me, scar me, reveal my true identity, I really don't care. Death claims those close to you and sends you into an uncharted place within your hurting heart.Chapter Three-The Death4 years ago in Settings More Like This

The black feather mingled with my pearl white one on top of the drying blood. I watched in bewilderment as the black feather turned darker, so dark that it seemed as if it was an endless pit of darkness. My stomach turned into twisted knots. This is how her wings became black, tainted with the blood of her victims.
My eye lifted to meet what I knew was already there. The silky black, billowing wings gracefully outstretched. Dark, glossy skin seemed to glow under the lights, flowing deep brown hair gracefully falling in waves of beauty down upon her firm, slender shoulders. The Angel of Death, clothed in a gracefully floor length, night colored dress. Slits along the sides revealed her dark slender legs,

Yukari fell, slowly but surely she fell.
And she was dead.
I felt my whole body go frozen and numb. I could tear my eyes away, yet my whole vision blurred and dimmed like I was dying too...maybe I was, I didn't know. In the distant i heard deafening explosions and dying screams. I felt the world shake beneath me and I fell dully to my knees. I faintly felt the tears warming my cheeks as they fell down my face. Why Yukari?
I dug my nails into the bloodstained dirt as I dragged myself over to her. "Yukari?" I looked at her mangled body painted with a deep red. It seeped from the burns, the cuts, and the jagged hole in her chest. "Yukari?"
I looked up from her dead body to find Chou staring at me with a wild frightened look. She held her staff at ready, but her whole body shook. A blast of fire flashed behind her, lighting up the night sky. "Please get up!" she cried.
I stared at her, I felt dumb and defeated. I couldn't move couldn't will myself to stand and fight back.

A breath I always yearned to breathe
Soon you will be only a memory
This feeling I hope I can banish
But every time I try
I imagine your face
Your dark brown eyes
Your mess of brown hair
Oh how I wish I could run my fingers through it
And make you laugh, just as you make me smile
I love hugging you
You feel so right in my arms
But if I said these thoughts aloud
I would sound so obsessive
So I shall think them silently
Like a silent prayer
Someone told me that I loved you
The words made my heart leaped in awe
Do I love you?
I never thought so,
Though I do not know what love is.....so maybe so.
I wanted to kiss you once
Maybe I still do
But most of all
All I want is, for you to feel the same way
But you never will.
My love....will be an unfinished puzzle....for eternity.
For some reason....I accept this.
For that's all I can do
I shall always be,
That unfinished puzzle.
