I sat on the beach looking towards the ocean, a scowl clear on my face. I was wearing board shorts and a top, but I was protecting the rest of my pale skin by lathering on sunscreen and covering myself with a towel. I can't believe Mikey actually convinced me to come here. I turned away from the sea; I couldn't stand looking at those waves any longer. Bad memories welled up inside of me as I remembered the power of those massive waves crashing on top of me. I almost drowned because of them! I quickly glanced back at them, but I regretted doing so.
