I was on the SB forums and people were talking about mech' wallpapers. I had a quick look on the Google to see if there were any decent Steel Battalion ones I could use myself. Didn't find anything so I made a compilation of most of the mechs' concepts from the game and used that.
Well this is another pic that should have been finished ages ago and I think I know why I procrastinate so much with these BG's (I think they're cursed) I seem to have the worst luck when I'm working on one.
This is one of my favorites wallpapers, each time i've posted it, lots of people seem to have liked it, sadly it was deleted because someone cliamed it as his own.

Ok, so it's sorta old stuff but this is basically how I wanted this one to look but never got arround to finishing it. I like the idea of a full shot on the right side with a close-up of the head in the BG. I'd like to add a little more subtle detail in the title bar but perhaps simplicity works best here. The mech has been seen before but labels and warnings have finally been added. I would have tried a little weathering at 's suggestion but I wanted this one to look pristine.
A new background image for my blog. Just working on getting everything updated. Go check it out: [link]
My first blog post in several months is now up! In it, I talk about the feasibility of my possible Novus Imperium manga/graphic novel, and it even has some nice refined test-panels showing what the comic might look like.
Also, this image is a 1920x1080 png image. So, ah, it may be ideal for a desktop background (wink wink, nudge nudge, the "download" button is right over there!).
Hit the "Download" button for the nice crisp .png file.
This started out as a study trying to hammer out exactly what the back of My OC, Reina Cloude's, armor ought to look like. When the digital lines turned out so well, I thought it would make a good desktop background.
Something about the way this is composed makes me think of Ghost in the Shell, but I'm not sure why. EDIT: Okay, by "composition" I do not mean the design of the armor. I simply mean the presentation of the image. For those of you talking about the actual design, I'll save you the trouble. In addition to my own design sensibilities, this armor draws inspiration from: Halo, Mass Effect, Metal Gear Solid 4, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Appleseed.
On the previous desktop I'd posted a few weeks back, several people wanted a version of it with the Novus Imperium logo fully visible. Obviously, I took that advice with this image, and the suggested version of the other desktop is available here: [link] for all who wanted it.
