Police line the streets during the march to Washington Square Park. The line of policemen (pictured below) was directly behind them. I was yelled at seconds after taking this photo and instructed to get back on the sidewalk.
This post is intended to be neutral. I will display arguments from both sides.
#OccupyWallstreet has been going on for over three weeks now. It has been both supported by thousands if not millions, and put out to die by many others. The movement is made up of largely students who believe at this time that there needs to be change to Corporations, Banks, and others who are underpaying taxes, and in the back pockets of politicians, cops, etc.
An example of this that was published today that J.P. Morgan made a donation of 4.6 million to the NYPD. The Sa

With the prologue, “They’re Mad, They Are,” I began work on a vessel that was not yet ready for sea. And on that holed ship, together we embarked over open waters towards an unknown destination.

And this not only means we're gaining a lot more traffic then before, but we also need to open up specific areas to our Volunteers. Once we do that, we can add you all to our resource archive " here".Important Update: Volunteers1 year ago in Deviant Events More Like This
Now I'm sure you all are wondering, "Well, what do you mean by changing our status?"
Well this means that, instead of all of you being called a "volunteer" collectively, we're going to break you up into sub sections for further clarification, and to help broaden the word and visibility on TheDailyBreadCafe. Please know that all positions are still centered around your time and that there are no time constrains. The following below is a rough draft to the applications that will be made available to you soon.
You may choose your renewed position based on only one of the target areas
The Enduring Enigma of CollageFebruary 21, 2013/by techgnoticThe Enduring Enigma of Collage3 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Collage is one of those art forms that immediately sets off heated debate about our most fundamental ideas and visceral feelings about the very essence of art itself.
Turn of the century troublemakers Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso began enhancing their paintings with glued on bits of cut out fabric and other materials, thus neatly blurring the line between the art categories of painting and sculpture. They shifted the emphasis or “meaning” of their painted images beyond an attempted interpretation of the painted “text” to thinking about the artists’ “process” – something wholly separate from the paintings themselves.
And with that a whole new Rubic’s Cube of basic questio

The Capture vs. The Pose
portrait of a WW2 vet...
When a subject poses to have his or her photograph taken, the subject tries to project a message about himself or
herself by how he or she “poses”, by the attitude of his or her body language or facial expression.
If the subject is posed by the photographer, the body pulled and prodded into the desired angles,
the facial expression “directed”, it is the photographer who is intending to communicate a message.
In either case, posing or posed, there is undeniably something “false” in the representation.
The New Street Photographer's ManifestoFebruary 7, 2013/by techgnoticThe New Street Photographer's Manifesto3 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Street photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson called it the “decisive moment”— the captured instant when all the photograph’s elements come together to tell a story in a way a text narrative of thousands of words could never begin to. It is what hooks people, both practitioners and advocate-devotees, on the art form. It is uniquely completely immersive in life— step out into the streets— in which the moment of artistic epiphany can never be guessed at until it suddenly happens. When it is properly mastered, it is as pure as the dawn of each new day, as true as the living organism of a teeming street scene catching a breath as one.
It's no easy task to pull a book together for publication and "The New Street Pho
Marketing Your dA PrintsOh marketing... it's every serious artist's permanent headache. What to sell, how to sell it, who to sell it to, how much to sell it for. While we can't give you the one perfect formula for that, here are quite a few tips on how to market your prints on deviantART and beyond.Marketing Your dA Prints5 years ago in Personal More Like This
Put your best art forward
You may think you want to offer everything you can for sale and that is understandable. However, think again. It's likely that not all works you offer for sale are ones that an art buyer might actually want to buy. Just like a potential buyer has to make a choice of what to buy, a seller is better off specifically selecting what to offer for sale and what not. While the saying "Quality over Quantity" is not a sure way to a sale, it's definitely a good strategy to get there.
It's better to offer only your fewer very best works for sale rather than all of your works.

So, the questions/scenarios asked are always the same and the responses/justifications are always the same, but give them a minute to sink in before replying and insulting.
(Q1) Why do you care if someone is cheating what does it have to do with you?
(A1) Well, this is a public ART site and if people are submitting art that is not actually what they claim it to be, then they are dishonest. This will annoy some people and not others. If your passionate about your work then the chances are you'll find it insulting to the artistic community as a whole. Additionally, a lot of admins of groups HAVE to deal with fakes as a daily occure
