Just when I was trying to find a subject to excite my muse, DeviantArt announced this contest.

Oh, I love Johnny Depp... especially as Don Juan DeMarco.

Hi,

This is my T-shirt design entry...it is my first time entering a deviantArt competition >.<

I've been wanting to create a Kunoichi (female ninja) character for some time with the theme being Deadly Technique, but wanted to give it a modern twist, while still holding a traditional feel. I decided to use this piece as I always get so much inspiration from the talented artists on DeviantArt just typing in the words like Kunoichi, that it has become part of what I love about DA.

The calligraphy is especially created for the artwork by my creative partner in Japan, Hiroko-Fukuda of Wakoshi.
I am still working on finding the right translation but The front Kanji translates somewhere along the lines of:
"Deadly technique" is inside mind..
Real kunoichi have to die her life before she can kill other party..

Obtaining deadly technique is not in the weapon...but the minds intent !!!!

The Hiragana messege on the back reads something like:
*to live is being dead for Kunoichi life

The calligraphy messages incorporated into the Tanto (Sword case) and leg read:
Deeply Pray for other party who kills

Japanese say Kanji and Hiragana calligraphy have a soul, so this design is not just a T-shirt, but a kind of good-luck charm, a T-shirt to inspire your everyday life

Life can be seen as a battle, an opponent you must defeat, so a confused mind does not hold a deadly technique, deadly technique is through the minds intent.
We can approach life with a kind of Kunoichi's deadly intent.

The original artwork is at 300dpi and is a raster image created using Photoshop CS4

Well, this is my third entry for Wacoms contest.

This one is the closest to becoming true. I am a young architect and I live in Warsaw. But one day - hopefully in a couple of years I will move to San Francisco and will become a great - world class architect such as Zaha Hadid
Why San Francisco? Well, for a start I visited it 12 years ago and I loved it, secondly I'd love to see how it is to do my job elsewhere then in my own country. Thirdly I loved the climate ad people

So... This is me in 2-3 years ha! Checking how my new building is being raised I'm so going to get a Pritzker Prize one day! ;D

I only had a ref photo of the city seen from above, so this is actually my own vision of the city seen from the human perspective. I think the photo was taken from the west. The man on my right is actually my father, who did inspire me a few years ago to become an architect and now was patient enough to pose for me in the photo reference session
