This is done of a very special friend of mine. I am enjoying doing these merman series, so much that I think I will offer up some commissions to do versions of people as mermen. Look in my journal soon for that information.

To date, I think this is one of my best mermen digital paintings. I have worked diligently to get the skin tones down, and to work the texture in the tail better. Hopefully that shows through on this and future drawings..

an Anthro-Opinicus, as I learned a variant of gryphon.

it was interesting to draw due the fact I've never made that kind of hybrid character yet... never tried to make an anthro bird; besides the character is just a kid .

Part 1 of the super secret Secret Super Santa-Thingie over at #Amajani-Clan. This is what I made for myself, and it's also the probably simplest of all eight parts. It's also the only motif that I didn't let a printshop put on a mug.

This is the leader of the Amajani-Clan, Tecuani, sitting vigil in the middle of the night, somewhere in the jungle they live in. She usually strays from the clan to search for tracks or any other signs the hostile Bandit Clan could've left in their territory and only stays at the town during the evenings and nights.

This night, however, seems to be a very calm and peaceful one - and as Tecuani sits vigil in the canopy of the rain forest and sees nothing but the glowing quiet and hears nothing but the rustling of luscious leaves she can't help but fall once again for the beauty of the jungle that fills her heart with the one emotion that tangles her up with her entire way of living: home.
