Another year is over and it's time for my annual art feature of works submitted in 2011!
This is both my favorite and the most difficult art feature to make. After going through thousands and thousands of works you can imagine how hard it was to pick just some.
Artworks were chosen by different combination of the following "criteria":
general impression • emotion conveying • meaning of the artwork • pure awesomeness • idea/concept • originality • complexity • technique • quality • subject • incredible realism • great style • everything else I forgot to write

After deliberation and your votes/comments, I have come to the conclusion that this year there will be an contest to be in an ONLINE yugioh fancalendar for 2012!
The Calendar is 5DXAL themed, meaning you can draw from any Yugioh series (though to make the distribution more even, I encourage people to submit crossover art of 3 or all 4 series) but I understand people don't like the spinoffs and would rather just draw only DM. While this is ok, if everyone draws nothing but DM then the calendar wouldn't really be 5DXAL, now would it?
So officially, make the art theme:
This is so people are not restricted to "monthly" themes.
- I encourage people to draw something new for this, however if you have an old deviation that *FITS* the theme, you may enter it as long as it's resized to the proper dimensions.

Today, with our society, big girls suffer a lot of negativity. We don't look like the accepted "norm" and a lot of us suffer internally for it. Constantly the battle continues to diet, lose weight, live by the scale to try and turn ourselves into something that we are not. We are beautiful, we are large, bountiful, and absolutely wonderful. It's something that a lot of us big beautiful women forget.
So I thought I would go ahead and remind the big beautiful women of deviant art that "Big Girls you are BEAUTIFUL!!" and I am not the only one that thinks so.

first I'd like to say that I'm glad I watched it because they are taking it out of theaters in a few days. I could not find any merchandise they must of done it earlier on.
the story as a whole was good and any Dragon Ball Z fan would not be disappointed. even though I am a big fan of Vegeta I will be objective is to say that this movie seems to have been made with Vegeta fans in mind. you get to see a lot of different sides of his personality some that you probably never expected.
what surprised me the most is that something happens and it affirms that he truly loves Bulma and it's so sweet!!! I feel like a lot of my fantasies and dreams about them as a couple came true in this movie and it really was a great surprise that's all not saying anymore.

I have recently decided to make my stock premium because I have noticed that many people do not care about my rules and are using my photos, into which I've put a lot of effort and time, for whatever they feel like. I've seen my backgrounds on websites for selling automobiles, on desktop background sites, on blogs, and other places on the web, with total disregard for the work I have put into providing stock. I've also seen my work in photomanipulations being sold by artists who are not on deviantart, nor have they contacted me for permission.

Continuation of SB in SK - Korean School BullyingSince writing this upsetting article, it is with huge regret that I can inform you that yet another South Korean student has committed suicide - a sixteen-year-old sophomore jumped off the 20th floor of his apartment complex, leaving his mother following message: "My brain is shredding my heart and I can't take it anymore. Be well. I'm sorry." His death is the 26th known youngster suicide related to school stress and violence in the Gyeongbuk region alone (area in eastern SK) since December 2011. 72.5% of Korean high schoolers continue studying at college, making SK #1 in college entrance percentage worldwide. However, SK also holds the top position worldwide of suicide, with suicide rates doubling the past four years.
