My Demon Angel PrologueYou make a deal with the Devil? There's no going back. The Dark Angel has you for the rest of your immortal soul's existence. Forever. My Demon Angel Prologue4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
I knew this. I was fully aware of it. How could I not be? I lived when it was preached throughout Europe that the Devil could tempt you in more ways than was physically possible. When I was in Florence, I heard Savonarola's sermons that echoed from behind the closed doors of the churches. I knew what I was getting in to.
I made the deal.
"Do you want to live forever?"
I thought I was already going to Hell, even without selling my soul to serve. Didn't John Milton say in his Paradise Lost that it is "better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven?" I disagree, from my standpoint. But then, I've never been to Heaven before. What's it like, tell me? Is it a rich and beautiful landscape? Are the trees as green as they say? Is it paradise? I don't know. I couldn't tell you.
How could I? I'm the demon Samael. I take the souls from Earth who have l

"What're you reading?" the familiar voice said from behind him.
Without turning around, Dib reached back with an arm and pulled Zim toward him, holding him close. "Just looking to see if there are any new announcements."
Surprised but pleased at finding himself this close to his human, Zim stretched up onto the tips of his toes so he could rest his head against Dib's shoulder, reading the board too. "Hey, look!" He pointed at a bright flyer. "All applicants for homecoming king and queen need to talk to the principal before January 10th!"
"So?" Dib had no clue why Zim would bring that up.
"So we should go for it!"
"Zim we're both males."
"So? We can be homecoming king and king!"
"I don't think they do that."
"We can ask."
"Well okay, I suppose it's worth asking. It's ten minutes until the first bell. Do you think that's enough?"
"Of course it is. Let's go." Zim grabbed his wrist and dragged him through th

Large, yellow orbs glanced up at him through the semi-darkness, midnight hair falling into them. "Hmm?"
Hiccup paused for a moment before answering. "Do you ever wonder how things would be if... if everything hadn't happened?"
Toothless raised an eyebrow at the boy. Hiccup continued, but now busying himself with a wrinkle in the blanket underneath him. "I mean... when you think about it, we were never supposed to even /meet./ What if I'd never shot you down that night? Or I never found you in the woods, or you didn't even let me near you on the day I finally came down to you in that clearing? What if I -"
The dragon's voice was quiet, but firm, and Hiccup ceased his words. He looked back up to his partner, suddenly feeling foolish. He wasn't... /upset/, was he? Maybe he thought that Hiccup questioning fate was like doubting it as well.
Toothless raised himself up on one elbow. "I learned long ago that one never questions good fortune," he stated, his tone ser
ZaDR - Homecoming Part 2A few weeks passed, and soon, it was time to vote for homecoming king and queen. Dib managed to convince Zim that they should vote for someone other than themselves, since that wasn't very modest. After much deliberation, they agreed to cast both of their votes on Zita and her boyfriend. Dib even managed to keep Zim from demanding to know who voted for him afterward.ZaDR - Homecoming Part 24 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The day of the dance came. Since they were candidates, they had to go to all of the events before the actual dance, such as the pep rally, basketball, and football games. Though they weren't interested in sports, they agreed anyway. They didn't have much choice, and besides, the pep rally might be fun. It was where the king and queen would be crowned.
"Or king and king," Zim reminded Dib as they walked to the gym. They were already wearing their semi-formal clothes, having changed right after their last class.
"Or king and king," Dib agreed. They entered the gym. Since they were candidates, they had their own area where th

Red couldn't believe it. It just wasn't possible. Zim conquering a planet! Absurd! But here he stood, gaping back at two beings, who had agreed on it, in surprise. "So, Zim ACTUALLY conquered a planet...?!" he asked again, looking at Dib while pointing at said Irken.
"Yes! And I-I'm his proof of that! I-I wouldn't be down in his lab if I weren't his slave!"
"Y-Yeah!" Zim then cut in, grabbing hold of Dib and pulling him close. "That's my slave for you!" he smiled back nervously, shifting about in his spot.
"Hmm...Well...If you conquered the planet...I guess it's time for you to come back..." Red said before turning away and shaking his head. "Can't believe he actually did it..." he then whispered to himself under his breath.
"Yes. Seeing as how you've taken over, it's time for you to return to Irk so we can, you know, do something with the planet."
Those words had Dib's face paling suddenly. "Wh-What exactly do you have in mind to do with it?" he asked, suddenly worri

"Yes, we did." Red sighed leaning against the nearby wall out of boredom. "Something IS missing, but I don't know what." The first i

Baby You Part 1 avengersxreaderxlokiThis was going to be very difficult for Loki to explain. One of the conditions he had to agree to when he moved into the Avengers Tower was that he was not allowed to "play around" with his magic anymore. But you had always been highly intrigued by his abilities and this led to the two of you sneaking around and testing the limits of his powers. He was dreading telling the rest of the group what had just happened, but he knew he didn't have a choice. Even if he could have kept it a secret, there was no way he was going to be able to manage this situation alone.Baby You Part 1 avengersxreaderxloki8 months ago in General Fiction More Like This
Loki approached the group, clearing his throat before he began. "We have a slight problem."
"What is wrong, brother?" The concern on Thor's face was evident. Loki only hoped that his brother wouldn't throw him off the roof of the building when he found out what he'd done to you.
"Well, y/n and I were in my room experimenting-"

"I'll go see if they need any help," Bruce offered, heading towards the elevator.
"Hey Coulson. I guess Bruce explained everything to you. Do you mind holding y/n for me? I've got to start baby-proofing this place."
"I'd be happy to." For several minutes, Phil just stood there awkwardly holding you, not knowing what to say or do. "So, um, I guess you've had a rough day, y/n. How about watching some cartoons?" He sat down on the couch with you in his lap and started flipping through the channels. "How about this show?" You blew a small raspberry to voice your disapproval, making Phil laugh. "Yeah, the

It wasn't planning to stay, I could tell that by smelling the air and tasting the warm weather that was already on it's way. But I wasn't going to tell the kids that were already breaking out the pieces of carpet to find enough ice to slide on. I was surprised that they weren't bored with the snow and ice anymore after this long winter. They were so cute as they tried to shovel the ice to make it smoother outside side of their homes. Bet mom and dad wouldn't be so thrilled after they succeeded though.
I went down to Gobber's shop and opened up before anyone even walked around there. It was more like a workshop now for him and Hiccup to improve the village one gadget at a time rather then a place for making weapons and other tools of destruction now that we are their friends. Of course once in a while someone would bring in an axe or sword to be sharpened and weighed, but that axe is usually for cutting wood, and that s

"That was actually kinda fun," Gaz said, referring to their earlier dance.
"Yeah, I like it," Zim agreed.
"Kinda makes you tired, though." Her hand was pressed to her chest as she took deep breaths.
"It's supposed to. It's an exercise as well as a dance."
"One bottle of water," Zim said to the lady in the concession stand. She fished one out of the ice-filled cooler and set it on the counter.
"One dollar," she said.
Zim dug a dollar bill out of her pocket and gave it to her, then picked up the bottle. The ice-cold water clinging to its outside made him flinch as it burned his skin. He quickly handed it to Gaz and wiped his hand off on his pant leg.
"Thanks." She twisted the lid off and drank deeply. They walked back to where Dib was sitting. "You sure Dib won't get jealous?" she asked.

It’s hard to describe the terror I felt. I was terrified of so many things; The dogs, the teeth, death…but there was one thing that terrified me above all else: the thought of those beasts taking Brightpaw away. That day is still so very clear in my mind. I revisit it frequently, and yet I still can’t believe what an idiot I was!
I darted through the undergrowth, Brightpaw hard on my heels. My paws tingled with excitement. There’s no way Bluestar could ignore this! We’ll be warriors by Sunhigh tomorrow! I thought, letting the satisfaction of the thought seep into me.
“Swiftpaw,” Brightpaw panted, running alongside me, “Are you sure about this?”
I saw the doubt in her eyes, the fear. My heart skipped a beat as I gazed into those deep blue eyes.
“We’ll be fine, Brightpaw. Don’t worry about it! There’
