Here is the newest image created for a Graphic Novel series myself and a good friend have been working on the past year or so called Telikos Protocol.
The image shows a giant alien machine being struck by a powerful orbital weapon.
This image also showcases the kind of artwork you will expect to find in the novel and its prelude comic released in November. For more info on the projects and pre-orders for the prelude comic head over to my journal entry [link]

Here is another image from the Telikos Protocol Prelude released in November 2011. The image was used in the Prelude for the acknowledgements page and we decided it was so nice it deserved its own release without any of the text. The image shows the mysterious alien orb being extracted from a huge alien structure at the bottom of the sea, its all explained in more detail in the Prelude.

You can keep up to date on the project here [link] as well as secure yourself a copy of the prelude, we have a few left but once they are gone that's it

Here is a treat, this is the E.D.G.E Primary Command Centre located in the mega city CORE. It's where E.D.G.E keeps track of all it's assets on Earth and in orbit.
This is part of a single page spread right out of the first issue of Telikos Protocol.

This one took me the better part of a day :ahoy:

We still need your support on this project to make it a reality in print form, head over the the Kickstarter and support us and bag yourself some cool rewards, or spread the word!!! [link]

In the space between planets a huge Fusion reactor was built to satisfy the ever growing need for energy. It creates small stars which it gets energy from, this energy is then transmitted to every world in the system. The power is immense, as new stars are created using a form of laser fusion huge dust clouds swirl and ignite. When the energy form a star is depleted is shrinks and dies in a controlled and harmless way. A convoy of ships approach the station probably to offload supplies and personnel.

This is my entry to the new Luminarium Exhibit themed Energy, always wanted to make a huge machine that makes stars hehe.

(Updated: I had some revisions I wanted to make to the original and felt they were too big to just place over the old submission so I have resubmitted it, sorry for any inconvenience :ahoy: )

As the title suggests this is a pretty crazy image, I am a huge fan of Napoleonic era naval battle paintings and I wanted to try and create a similar image but in space, a battle between 3 ships, 2 of them trying to take down the rather more advanced and skilled Dreadnought in the middle. In the distance a line of ships launches a volley of missiles towards the incoming ship knowing their 2 ships have fallen, one gutted by a powerful laser, the other suffering from a major reactor explosion.
Further in the distance a huge battle is being fought in a large dust cloud, it illuminates the inside of the cloud and creates a slit of light across the clouds opening.

The image also points out some gameplay features, one being how you can level up a ship, the Dread in the middle is very advanced, its seen a lot of combat so its crew knows the ship and its systems well and so can overclock all systems basically, hence the ultra laser. Also you may notice its hull has a distinct hexagonal pattern, this is another feature, if you upgrade the hull it will show. Also gun turrets will vary depending on the type.

Here is the third image I have done working with Taitale Studios on their MMORTS game Novus Aeterno. Many people have been asking questions about the game "is it like EVE" "whens it out" "how much is it". Well I cant answer much except that aside from it being set in space it has very little to do with EVE, its a very different game its the first and only true MMORTS game as it has a persistent universe that never stops.
This image is my favorite, it shows a giant construction yard in space finishing off one of the dreadnought class ships, they are huge by the way. The ship is a tall ship but this POV really helped show its scale almost looking up at it.

Continuing with the upload of work I have done so far working at Taitale Studios on their new MMORTS game Novus Aeterno I present to you Derelict (my balls) I did the joke here first but I know it wont stop the comments rolling in with that in them haha, also if you've never seen Zoolander you will have no idea what that means.
Anyway back on to the subject of the image, its actually a remake of a much older image I did for the game a long time ago before I was actually part of the team just doing freelance work, the old image goes by the same name and the principle is the same a giant war torn world and a wreak of a large ship in orbit.
This is one of my favorite images so far out of the pile of images I've done for the game.

Here is the latest illustration for the game Novus Aeterno, it depicts a huge open area where masses of troops are listening to what is probably a very uplifting and motivating speech about universal domination and all that jazz.
In the distance there are several dreadnought class ships but they are too big so most of them are in the clouds. not a great view from up there.

Another painting for the game Novus Aeterno. This image was used as a guide to show the look and general feel of the big gas and dust clouds that are to be added into the games space to make space less empty and boring. There is a huge fleet of ships breaking orbit from a planet that can just be seen behind the big dust cloud. This is the first image I did that showed off all the ships the human race has, minus a big ass one but more on that later. The ships are paint-overs of 3D models created by our very talented 3D ship modeler :iconpukey82: some adjustments were made but the basic shape was kept for accuracy.
