A prototype in Sharpie for a Harry Potter tattoo. Harry Potter is not mine, and neither are its symbols and such. They belong to the goddess that is J.K. Rowling.

This is a quote from Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone by Albus Dumbledore. I am currently rereading the series in celebration of the first part of Deathly Hallows in the fall, and this quote jumped out at me immediately.

I've loved Harry Potter since I was 8 years old and have planned on getting a related tattoo for quite some time. I think this is perfect.

I'll be getting it horizontally along my right rib cage.

A tribute to my favourite Harry Potter character. I thought it would be bland just to write "Severus Snape" anywhere on my body, so it had to be my favourite course. ;)

3 weeks old, made by Marco (Freie Manufaktur, Hamburg).

I am so damn happy with it! Fuck yeah!^^

This is obviously the Hogwarts Shield done on a girl's lower back. I love Harry Potter so I of course didn't mind doing it.

My Harry Potter tattoo! It's only a week old. It features the quote by Severus Snape and the chapter stars.

my cousin is a great artist and she drew a buch of tatoo designs on me and my sisters when she was visiting, the design was my idea after reading harry potter and the deathly hallows, it's a golden snitch that says "i open at the close" and the chinese characters mean "witch"
