"Who're you?" Matthew's eyes snapped open when he heard a voice. He looked straight ahead to see his pet polar bear nosing him in the cheek. He seemed un-phased when his pet, that he took care of everyday, didn't know who he was.
"I'm your caretaker, Matthew." He answered quietly. He was used to this by now.
Everyday, Matthew would go through life never being noticed by anybody. People would even bump into him like he wasn't even there. He was convinced that he must be invisible.
There was a meeting at his job today, and everyone was fussing around, while he just sat and watched the chaos. Alfred was bugging Arthur about his heroism while Arthur just repeatedly called him a "bloody wanker." Francis started harassing Arthur, so he had to turn around and bash him on the head with his teacup, knocking him unconscious. Ivan was holding a part of a faucet in his hand and laughing to himself.
"I wonder if I'll get a turn to say something today." Matthew pondered. "What do you think, Kumiji?"

Demetri's eyes flew open. This was the fourth time he had woken up in the middle of the night. His scrapes were killing him. "Ugh!" He shifted painfully and nudged Serendipity to wake her.
Opening one eye to look up at the boy, she tiredly asked, "What do you want, Demetri? It's kinda the middle of the night right now..."
"Well, uh..." Demetri paused. "Do you think there are any herbs that can treat pain around here?"
Serendipity got up and streched her front legs, the proceded with the hind legs. "Well, I guess. But, can't it wait until tomorrow?"
Demetri rubbed one of the scratches on his knee. "I could wait, but they really hurt right now. And it's hard to go to sleep."
"Well, I guess I gotta go look for the right herb. Do you think you're well enough to come with me?" Serendipity asked.
Demetri tried getting up, but every movement just caused more and more pain. "I-I don't think I can, I'm so sorry!"
Serendipity looked at him with sympathetic eyes. "Don't worry about it. I'll be ba

"Hmm...the next thing...worms. Okay, worms...wait" Demetri read the next thing on the list, "WORMS!? AND THREE OF THEM!? EEWW!" He obviously hated worms. "Well, might as well get it over with." He sighed and began to dig holes in the ground in search of the much despised worms. After a few minutes of digging, he spotted a lone worm slowly slithering along. When he reached to pick it up, he winced at first as he touched it, but he soon got over it and finally managed to pick it up and quickly throw it in the bag. "Ugh...one down...t-two more to go..." He wrinkled his nose at the thought of getting more. He went back to digging and found two, one on top of the other. "Why the heck is one on top of the other? I guess one was in the way of the other." He picked both of them up at the same time, with less hesitation than last time. "Whew, glad that's over." He smiled and went on to the next item on the list.
"Let's see...Ah! There it is...THREE CROCODILE TONGUES!? WHAT THE

Demetri followed Serendipity as she walked through the forest until they came to a very huge clearing filled with some of the most beautiful looking flowers he had ever seen! He sniffed the air. It had a sweet, warm scent, like cinnamon. But, flowers smelling like cinnamon? How was that even possible? "Well, I guess I shouldn't wonder about the cinnamon scent too much. After all, I am in an underground forest with glowing mushrooms and animals called moonessas." He reminded himself.
He turned to Serendipity, "Hey, uh, Serendipity? Can I ask you a question?" He asked shyly.
"Sure! What is it?" She replied with a upbeat tone.
"Uh, well, what is this place called anyway?"
"Th-this place?" Serendipity started to stutter.
"Th-this is the world of H-Haraguroi."
The word, haraguroi, sounded familiar to Demetri. "Haraguroi'!? Isn't that Japanese word for 'dark', as in 'evil'?"
"Y-yeah. Well, don't tell anyone I said this, but it was originally called H
